Love should be espoused with determination and perseverance. Advocating fighting and conflict appears to be easy and reasonable to some people and they assume that espousing love is difficult, meaningless and impossible. Actually, they thus leave behind the easiest and the most beautiful way of life and dive into the most evil, most difficult and the cruelest of all choices.

Wise, well-intentioned, loving people have always been the leaders of this world, their words have always been influential. God always gives them this blessing.

Hatred brings about hatred, it brings about rage. Love, on the other hand, solves everything. That is to say, the human mind embraces love. Our souls are pursuant to love. We are created accordingly. Heaven is the abode of love.

Someone who hangs people and chops people up wouldn't make a Caliph. A Caliph should be a man of love. Whoever is determined to turn this world into a heaven on Earth is the Caliph. A Caliph is the one who brings the important features of Heaven into this world.

When loving people gather, it causes a relief in the heart. When one sees his beloved, he would feel contentment and cheer up. His heart would become stronger, he attains a spiritual power and assumes a positive attitude.

Love is a joy, it is a blessing, it is a pleasure, it is happiness. Still there are some people who give up love. Hatred is very distressing, it is painful. One would feel unbearable pains in hatred. What is the sense in this? Handle everything with love. Why is it necessary for you to be in conflict, why is it necessary for you to get in a fight?

Reasonable, rational, democratic, loving generations who love all people, generations who love people from all religions should be raised. They are teaching hatred towards Jews, towards Christians, towards Shia, towards Sunnis; that is not acceptable.

This world is not a place to cry but a place to laugh; this world is not a living hell but a heaven. We want heaven both in this world and in the Hereafter. Those who want Hell in this world will be left in Hell in the Hereafter as well.

Lack of respect brings about rage and nervous breakdown. One then starts looking for a place to attack with that hatred, to satisfy that hatred. That rage cannot be calmed down with mild acts. Such a person would look for ways to burn things down, kill, crack someone’s head open or to leave him a bloody mess. His nerves will be calmed a little bit only when one sees blood. It is the characteristic of the satan: satan is only satisfied with blood.

There is no place for conflicts, there is no place for hatred in this world. We will teach love to the world. Hatred is very painful, it is agonizing, it is tiresome and disgusting; love on the other hand is very beautiful. Israel, Jordan and all those places are incredibly beautiful. Make peace, hold on to each other, be brothers.

What kind of an attitude is mentioned in the verses of the Qur’an? One that doesn’t give way to any tension, rage, or any kind of disturbance in the heart; not giving way to such manners. Not feeling afraid or sad, not being uneasy. In short, the Qur’an mentions an attitude that avoids all sorts of attitudes that could psychologically disturb a person.

A Muslim should be steadfast. I mean he should refrain from losing his temper or getting angry.

It is completely different to cry out of fear of God, out of excitement. But if a person starts crying, saying, "Why did this happen like that?" that would be ascribing partners to God.

People die every day. We are living in the world, this is a place of testing. People get sick every day. How do they come up with the idea of mourning? There is no such thing in the Qur'an. There is no such understanding in Islam. It only has a place in idolatry, in the totemist mentality, in the belief system of the idolaters. This is a characteristic of pagan religions, but there is no such thing in Islam.

The mentality that urges one to cry after everything is abnormal. This is a remnant system from the idolaters of Mecca, from the idolaters of Sumeria, from way back. That is outright insincerity. This is an act which shows that one does not have trust in God- may God forbid. One would only cry if he thinks –may God forbid- that God is not the One Who creates that event.

If you abide by the Qur'an you cannot say that music is unlawful, you cannot say that paintings, sculptures, having fun and laughing are unlawful; but if you are in a radical conservative system, music, paintings and sculptures are all unlawful.

Before all else, a Muslim should know to resist abnormal things. For instance, he has to know how to resist rage. Yielding to rage is an animalistic instinct. Keeping one's temper is a humane superiority.

For a Muslim, losing one's temper is very bad. Rage takes over one and drags him around as if dragging around an animal. The man indulges in that feeling and disgraces himself. That is not acceptable. One needs to use his mind.

Radicals prohibit everything beautiful. They preach everything that is atrocious, everything that is difficult. Their encouragement about crying is unbelievable. God refers to it as a characteristic of unbelievers. "They will cry a lot and you will laugh," God says to Muslims. And they turn everything around and tell Muslims "Do not laugh, cry a lot!" How could one's mind and soul endure this? Go do sports, eat, drink, laugh, perform your religious observances, beautify everywhere. Let the arts prevail everywhere.

Hatred and anger should be casted away with love. Muslims of the Qur'an would approach everything with a reasonable, consistent and rational manner. Instead of getting angry with someone, they make effort for winning that person over.

Allah wants us to be happy and to smile.

The world is in a comatose state at the moment. No one is able to cheer up, people are unable to laugh. Without the love of Allah, Allah does not give joy to people. But with the appearance of the Mahdi, a festive air will enwrap everyone insha'Allah.

Bigoted mindset would even prohibit laughing. It destroys people's merriness and healthiness. It ruins people.

If selfishness, a lack of love or being invested only in self-interest engulf a society, the notion of brotherhood would seem odd for them. They would say; "What brotherhood are you talking about? I am rich and I want to be away from you all. I do not like poverty and the poor!"

Islam is an amazingly beautiful system. If the youth could learn about it properly, there would be not one person left in Turkey that wouldn't embrace Islam. Yet they fail to understand; they imagine that hanging people, chopping up them is acceptable in religion, that their freedoms will be seized, that they will not have fun, that there will be no place for music and art in their lives. Actually these are all lawful blessings. Religion is being wrongfully explained. There is no such system. The system of the idolaters brought all those in. There is no such system in Islam.
