People saw that they can be religious in their hearts and souls. They have seen that they can listen to music; they have seen that women can wander around without covering their heads yet be religious and perform their prayers at the same time. Therefore, religion has become widespread covertly in Turkey and found a great foundation everywhere.

The things demanded by the Qur'an are only a few: Performing prayers is explained very briefly in the Qur'an, fasting is explained very briefly and giving alms is explained very briefly. God commands us to be merciful, compassionate, to avoid telling lies, to be true. He commands us to have good intentions and to love one another, to love God a lot; to be of help to one another and to avoid worldly ambitions for goods because everything belongs to God. The commands in the Qur'an are very few. The rest is all about the foulness of the unbelievers, the impertinent behavior of the unbelievers, of the people of heresy and the responses given to them.

Radicals believe that they are the most devout ones when they turn the life of this world into a life in Hell, when they misrepresent Islam as hellish. For instance, they believe that it is out of piousness when they turn praying into an inextricable act. They believe that it is out of piousness when they make it impossible to perform ablution, whereas God described performing ablution in a single line in the Qur'an.

One worries about how he is going to wake up for the morning prayers, he troubles himself with it. Constantly whining, he says, "How am I to wake up that early?" Yet if you were to say, "We will give you five thousand liras in the morning without any provision", he would not sleep, he would not even blink until the morning. If you were to tell him that he should wash his face fifty times, and wash his arms fifty times and his feet fifty times and that he will be given five thousand liras every morning, millions of people would line up to do this. See that God promises eternal Heaven, yet he fails to do as God commands, because he does not believe in it: If he believed, he would have done that.

Those who become victorious in their struggle against the whisperings of satan are called faithful. The whisperings of satan would be incessant, Satan would constantly pester you. Bediuzzaman says, 'Even if the armies of doubt come at one's door, verified faith would resist, but imitated faith would be defeated.' That is why we are preparing books on the facts leading to faith and make them available for you. I mean, we do that for you to be able to resist against the armies of doubt. Muslims become heroes because of their resistance and they thus become valuable in the Sight of God.

For one who spent all his life as a Muslim, it would be the whispering of satan to be concerned saying something like, "Would I be able to preserve my faith at the moment of death?" There is no need to take that serious. No such thing would happen. I mean a wholehearted, subconscious faith is the basis. Or else something might happen to one's mind, such whisperings have no validity. God would look at one in all his integrity.

Faith is the sincere belief in one's subconscious. Or else one's mind might come and go. I mean all kinds of opinions might pass through one's mind. For instance, one might think if something is right or wrong; these are ideas inside one's brain. Ideas would be like a storm in one’s mind. They have nothing to do with faith. They are called the whisperings of satan. Faith is something settled in, I mean a sincere conviction that is intertwined with, one's consciousness, one’s good conscience.

A Muslim would never want to give up his faith; he would be terrified. That unwillingness to give up faith is faith. Or else whisperings might come and go but a Muslim believes in his subconscious as well. Once he believes in God faith settles in his heart.

Information does not flow to the brain out of the blue. The brain should be disciplined; it should be educated. It is not possible to do by sitting back, one needs to work for it. Thinking is an act of worship, just like prayers.

One wakes up for the morning prayers with love. God created you with all these details and gives you uninterrupted blessings. In the morning God gives you food, He feeds you at lunch time and also at dinner. He gives you your breath constantly and has your heart working uninterruptedly day in and day out. If He stops your heart for a moment, you would be dead. If He stops your breathing for a moment, you would be dead. If you consider prayers to be too much for God, that would be foul play against God.

If you believe in God, it would be cruel not to wake up for the morning prayer. That is because you promise God and say that you love God, that you appreciate His blessings on you and that you are thankful to Him. But then you say, "I do not want to thank You!" How is that acceptable?

Religion can be practiced soundly by the beaches, in discos, practically everywhere. You can build a masjid inside a night club so that youngsters go there to perform their prayers and then come back and have fun. Ladies can swim in the sea at the beaches and then go perform their prayers as they like.

One would be happy and have his mind relieved when he performs his prayers, when he performs ablution, when he submits to God’s will, mentions the Name of God, reads the Qur’an. God has created man in a way that he would feel that need. One would be suffocated if he doesn’t live all these beauties. These are all blessings that prevent one to be drawn in that water, these are lifesaving blessings.

The hypocrites would not take ablution or perform prayers if there are no one around to see. They only take ablution and perform their prayers when there are people around.

Many practices that are not in the Qur’an are invented to keep people away from prayer. They are used as a barrier before religion. Millions are prevented from practicing faith by means of invented practices that have no place in the Qur’an.

The best answer to delusions whispered by satan is not to take them into consideration. There is no reason for worry if satan whispers something.

God commands how to take ablution with one verse in the Qur’an and it is very easy. The bigots on the other hand, come up with 600 pages of made-up rules about ablution that differs in each school of Islam. Looking at these made up rules, some people say that they won’t be able to take ablution and perform prayers. The understanding of religion that is outside the Qur’an causes people to remain distant to Islam.

Whispers are devastating humanity. People are suffocated by whispers. The best thing to do is to take refuge with Allah from the whispers and do not give them the time of the day. Not thinking about them and not minding them, not giving consequence to them is the best action. You should say; "my friend, I am not interested in you, come to me 10 years later, only then I will take care of you." If you do not give them the time of the day, they will go away. If you attach importance to them, they will push you around.

There are insidious whisperers everywhere. They are in the newspapers, in the radios and in the televisions. We will take refuge with Allah from the insidious whisperers. We will not attend to whispers.

Most people stay away from performing prayers because bigots portray it like it is a difficult practice. On the contrary, it is very easy and brings happiness. Turning prayer/ablution into difficult practices, is satan’s plot. Allah explains ablution in one verse in Qur’an. But some people write 300-page books explaining it.

Satan’s whisperings, doubts can come to mind any moment. But believers ignore them by means of their faith. One’s inner self, satan attacks the mind with thousands of doubts, groundless worries, but believers just ignore them.

Taking ablution as described in the Qur’an is very easy to practice. God explains ablution in a single verse: You who have faith! when you get up to do salat (prayer), wash your faces and your hands and your arms to the elbows, and wipe over your heads, and your feet to the ankles. (Qur’an, 5:6)

Taking ablution is not an obligation to hold or read the Qur’an. This is simply a superstitious belief devised to keep people away from religion.

When one asks for love, he should first aim for the love of God. No love can be formed if there is no love for God or fear of God.

If there is a fervent love, that means there is a fervent faith. If one has a fervent love for a woman, you should know that he possesses a fervent faith. That is the sign of it.
