It is technically not possible for the PKK to lay down their weapons. That is a remorseless diversion; that is a shameful, grim and very unbecoming assertion. The moment they lay down their weapons, no one would ever take Öcalan seriously [again]. No one would give him the time of the day, he would become an ordinary prisoner. The weapons the PKK holds on to are the only reason for the respect he is being shown.

Due to the geographical structure of the region, technically the PKK would not lay down their weapons anyway. There is ISIS in the region, there are many radical organizations. These organizations all are out to get the PKK and kill them when they find them. According to their own mindset, PKK militants believe that they have to have weapons for self defence. In this case, that is all that it takes. They would never lay down their weapons, it is not possible.

There is no need for any of these weapons. All weapons will be annihilated at the time of the Mahdi (pbuh); weapons and all other sorts of things made for killing people. People are for loving, not for killing. It is horrible to make things to kill people. All that will be annihilated, insha'Allah.

They are trying to build prestige for Öcalan. Almost all of our 80 million people – that is because some people are forced to side with the PKK - do not love Öcalan at all. They hate him because he caused the martyrdom of so many of our soldiers; they all loathe him. They still have a grudge against him. Consequently such propaganda would not work. They are pushing in vain.

We would not let Turkey be separated, neither would we let them build prestige for Abdullah Öcalan. They are striving in vain on television. We would not let that happen so long as we are here. Our people would not let them and I would not let them either.

Weapons are the reason for the respect shown to the PKK lot anyway. Weapons are the only reason for the respectful and kind approach many people adopt right now. They would all humiliate them, they would never give any consequence to those PKK lot.

The PKK militants are trained communists, Marxists, Leninists, Stalinists. Why should they lay down weapons? They would never do that. It would be wrong to crush our people's determination for struggle by saying "They will lay down weapons."

Kurdish people are very dear to us. They are very dear to me, I would give my life for my Kurdish brothers. But we will make life unbearable for these scum of the PKK with the laws and the legal system. You will see this.

We need to increase the number of special forces police officers. We need to increase the number of their schools. Our President should do such a noble thing. Special forces and the Maroon Berets. These ignoble PKK militants are being trained for a long time, for 6 to 8 years. Our lions, our soldiers are coming from different corners of our country, they are novices, those dear ones of mine, and then they are dragged into an armed conflict with the PKK. That is not acceptable. The PKK fears special operation forces.

There is no such thing as laying down weapons for the PKK. These people have been waiting in caves up in the mountains for 40 years in order to make communism prevail. That is simply wishful thinking; they will never lay down weapons.

The PKK would never ever lay down weapons. Anyone with good judgment would see this. The PKK would be ruined the moment they lay down their weapons. Weapons mean power. People respect power. Once they lose their weapons, the PKK would be crushed.

The PKK would never lay down their weapons. They will continue to acquire position in the Southeast. The only solution is to root them out there within the framework of the law. Anything other than that would not work. It is a gangrenous tissue and that tissue should be surgically removed. There is no other cure for that.

Abdullah Öcalan would never want [the PKK] to lay down weapons. He would be crushed before all else. They would not give any consequence to him. On such an occasion, the movement of the PKK would completely be devastated.

The PKK would never lay down their weapons and Öcalan would never want them to do so. Weapons are their only assurance anyway. They have attained this power in the Southeast by means of weapons. They became an addressee of the government because of the weapons they have had. Thanks to those weapons, the pictures, the posters of Abdullah Öcalan became lawful to carry. Those all happened with the effect of guns.

An instant counter campaign should be launched to collect all the weapons the PKK has and the organization should be rendered ineffective. The PKK should be brought to their knees. These people are preparing for an uprising in April; how can some people still talk about them laying down their weapons? There are weapons all around the Southeast right now.

The state should give licensed automatic weapons to the village headmen. That is a very difficult job to do. The PKK scum come to their doors with automatic weapons with a two thousand meter range. How could they come if the village headmen and the village guards had such guns? They would calculate their strength and chicken out. That is why, having weapons against the PKK is very important in terms of deterrence.

Village rangers are necessary so long as the danger of the PKK exists. When the PKK danger is removed, the rangers can be abolished as well. So long as the PKK remains, so should the rangers.

It is crucial to commission our village guard brothers within the scope of police officers’ posts and it is crucial to increase the number of the village guards. The Southeast problem would thus be fundamentally solved. The solution lies in increasing love first; secondly, compassion and thirdly, the number of the village guards. There is nothing else other than that.

Our citizens should never have the inclination to be offended by, or upset at the state and they should be very careful about this. That is unacceptable because by doing so one would be like cutting one's own throat. The state is not an institution one could be offended by or be angry with. If there is a problem, the state should be repaired and restored.

Muslims should have a very strong determination for being protective of Islam.

Prophets would never come up with additional lawful and unlawful acts on their own accord if they are not defined in the Qur'an. There is an explicit verse in the Qur'an about this.

Religion is a system that gathers all the beauties of the world inside. There is joy in religion, there is merriness, there is fun, there is music in religion. Ladies can wander around comfortably, they can wear revealing clothes if they like and cover their heads if they like; no one interferes them. They can laugh as they like, they can have tattoos if they like. Religion would not interfere with such things. Religion commands us to have a good conscience and be conscientious, to be honest, to be reasonable, to be meticulous about what is lawful and what is not. Religion is the other name of joy.

The spirit deceased Chief Türkeş has given to our youth is one that should be taught in philosophy textbooks, one that should be an official policy of the state. Our youth should be brought up by that spirit. They fail to do this and that is grave danger.

A very good characteristic of our nationalist idealist youth is that they are very brave and tough. All of our Turkish youth should be brave and tough in that sense. Cowardice is not acceptable. Male and female, all our youth should be brave and tough when the safety and unity of homeland is concerned.

The Qur'an wants Islamic Unity. The Qur'an wants an imam to be assigned; wants Muslims to have a leader and thus refers to the system of the Mahdi.
