Religion is a system that gathers all the beauties of the world inside. There is joy in religion, there is merriness, there is fun, there is music in religion. Ladies can wander around comfortably, they can wear revealing clothes if they like and cover their heads if they like; no one interferes them. They can laugh as they like, they can have tattoos if they like. Religion would not interfere with such things. Religion commands us to have a good conscience and be conscientious, to be honest, to be reasonable, to be meticulous about what is lawful and what is not. Religion is the other name of joy.

Islam prevails everywhere. One can mention the Name of God while having fun or in a wedding. There is no such thing as saying one cannot talk about God in a place of entertainment. This is the result of a mindset that tries to spread irreligiousness presenting it as if it is something in demand. That is because people are very fond of music and entertainment. These people say “Do not talk about God when there is music and entertainment. Simply keep quiet.” Irreligiousness is the result of such a mentality.

Competition is something our Prophet (saas) sees as acceptable; it is something religion considers as acceptable. It is also seen in Heaven. Muslims will have fun racing each other. They will have motor races, boat races to have fun, or have footraces or horse races.

Within the course of world history, they [bigots] have generally turned this world into a living hell for women. When born a woman, she doesn’t have the opportunity to have fun, to wear what she likes or to dress up. Loving and being loved is forbidden, being joyous is forbidden, everything is forbidden for them. Let them have fun, let them be joyous and wear whatever they like. Leave them alone so that they can live in peace.

If you abide by the Qur'an you cannot say that music is unlawful, you cannot say that paintings, sculptures, having fun and laughing are unlawful; but if you are in a radical conservative system, music, paintings and sculptures are all unlawful.

Banning ladies having fun is like uprooting an essential beauty out of this world. Women are the most important ornaments of the world. If women have fun, if they are happy, if they are cheerful, if they are able to show their beauty, it would be great.

The world has no aspect to enjoy things. That is because Heaven is the place to enjoy. Why should people settle for the inadequate pleasures of this world? They carry a ton of wood on their shoulders and then say, "Let us go have fun." That ton of wood on their shoulders will be lifted in the Heaven. You can then have fun. There are various hardships all around this world.

God says that, "This world is not the place for play and idle sport. The Heaven is the place for play and idle sport. This world is a place for trial." That is why if you fasten yourself to this world, you would be stuck with it, says God. But if you aim for the Hereafter, if you aim My approval, I will make you happy for all eternity, you will have fun and laugh. Those who fasten themselves to this world would merely grovel, let me say that much. They would merely wallow and flounder. Nothing else would ever happen.

Some people never accept patience and ordeals, yet ask directly for blessings. That is unacceptable. You can neither attain Heaven like that nor attain the good pleasure of God. This is a place of trial not a place of fun. Almighty God says, "If We had desired to have some amusement, We would have derived it from Our Presence, but We did not do that." Heaven is the place of amusement, there is no such thing in this world.

It is alright to listen to music, it is alright to have fun and to laugh. Anything to the contrary would disrupt human nature; it would destabilize one's balance. May God forbid, you would make yourself fall ill if you disrupt your nature. Be joyous, be happy, have fun, laugh and be playful. That is how God created you. Otherwise, you turn in on yourself, you become ill, your health would then be disrupted, you would then lose your strength to think. It also makes it impossible for you to live by Islam.

Music is lawful by religion, paintings are lawful, having fun is lawful, sculpture is lawful. I mean, lawful things are innumerable. Things that are forbidden by religion are concisely defined in the Qur'an and they are very few. God says, 'I have deemed everything other than those lawful for you.' How do you come up with all those forbidden acts on your own?

Having fun, Islam, the Qur'an, eating and drinking and everything else; life is a whole with all its entirety. There is no life far-remote from Islam. I mean there is no such thing to call "this part is Islamic and this part is non-Islamic." Islam is in every breath we take; while having fun, while laughing, sleeping, lying and waking up; Islam is in everything and everywhere one can think of. Any moment of life one claims to be outside of Islam is full of unawareness and means devastation.

Words and names that are derived from the name of God should be used with respect; they shouldn't be shortened.

"Alhamdulillah" is one of the invocations God likes the most. For instance you have been bestowed a blessing and you say Alhamdulillah. There is a beauty in front of you; you say Alhamdulillah. You hear a nice word you say Alhamdulillah.

If one leaves God alone, God leaves that person alone. Forgetting God is like heading towards an abysmal darkness, may God forbid.

If one does not believe that his heart will find peace in the remembrance of God, then whatever he does will only bother and depress him more.

God creates everything in great detail. One has to ask everything from God. God wants us to pray and supplicate to Him, and asks us to draw near to Him and be in affectionate communion with Him. "Remember Me – I will remember you. Give thanks to Me and do not be ungrateful." (Surat al-Baqara, 152)

The Dajjal's system is communicating its messages slyly and many people become means of this communication unknowingly. The Dajjal's system teaches people not to remember God.

It would be terrible to get caught up with possessions and forget Allah and religion. The house should be used for Allah, houses should be turned into masjeeds.

Forgetting Allah would offend Allah. Even though Allah is the One Who creates fruits, the One Who creates all blessings, the One Who creates beauties, houses, cars, and then some people do not give Him the time of day - may Allah forbid- in any way. They do not say “Thanks be to Allah.” Then Allah takes everything back. Allah says; “I have given you that car. I have given you that house and now I am taking back your house.” Allah says; “I have given you your life and I am taking your life back. Either you will thank Me, or I will take all of them back.”

It is a Muslim’s duty to go into houses that Allah’s name is recited, to have houses in which the name of Allah is recited and to ensure the recitation of Allah’s name in those houses. They will have such houses in which Allah’s name will be remembered.

Talk about Allah. Our hearts feel relieved with the mentioning of Allah. We love Allah. We live for Allah.

Saying; "Praise be to Allah," saying "How beautiful Allah created," in the malls, in the streets, in cars, in buses would be a great service to people. People should hear Allah's Name everywhere. They should hear Allah's Name frequently. They will not forget, they would like that a lot and keep in mind. That is because some people are talking about their title deeds, some others are talking about their Money and others about their jobs, some others are busy gossiping, yet they see that someone there is talking about Allah with love. They would very much envy that, they would love that. They would take that person as an example and want to do that themselves as well.

Muslims think and talk about God at every moment of their lives. It is aberrant to claim that God should not be thought of and should be forgotten while having fun and listening to music.

All the beauties of life are in religion; there is music, there is fun, there is joy, there is love. Religion covers the whole of life and makes all those religiously lawful. There are very few religiously unlawful acts. Religiously lawful acts on the other hand are innumerable.
