Muslims are basically influenced by the verses of the Qur’an. They read them, and the verses affect them. But the real hypocrite never has anything to do with them. He regards that as just a bit of fun, may God forbid.

It is not easy to understand the mind of the hypocrite. Sometimes he may have all the signs of the hypocrite, but then you look and see he has become a Muslim: He pulls himself together and abandons his old ways. Others are insanely attached to hypocrisy and never renounce it. Those people are the true hypocrites.

Since the hypocrite is always looking for an opportunity to create filth, one needs to speak to him very intelligently and rationally. One must not speak to as not to give him an opportunity to spread filth, immorality or aggression.

For example, if you bring a hypocrite something to eat he will find something wrong with it. If you give him a present he will find something wrong with it. If you ask a question he will think it is aimed against him. He will think the worst of everything. That is from where the troubled nature and immorality of the hypocrite springs.

Serving Islam, God and the Holy Book is what the hypocrite finds most distressing. Because he hates God, may God forbid, he has no desire to serve Him. He does not want to serve the faith because he detests the Prophet (pbuh). And because he hates Muslims, he has no desire to help them.

The hypocrite spends all day on empty things. He will look around him, watch TV or see what is happening outside. He just waits for time to pass. He regards serving Islam as foolish. Since he harbors anger toward God, may He forbid, he finds it very difficult to serve Islam.

The hypocrite spends all day doing pointless things. That is one way of identifying the hypocrite. How should he do his hair? What should he wear? He spends all day worrying about that kind of thing. The hypocrite takes no interest in religion or the faith. It stifles him. That is what the hypocrite finds least attractive of all.

Hypocrites are mines of information. But the hypocrite has no interest in the Qur’an. The hypocrite is bored and embarrassed by Islam and the Qur’an. But he will regard reading books by an atheist intellectual as important and as a chance to show off.

The hypocrite always wants to be running around. He never wants to sit and read the Qur’an or preach Islam. This is a very powerful subconscious instinct. He wants to read about anything except Islam. The hypocrite attaches great importance to general culture. To irrelevant things like what is so and so in Africa doing. They never prioritize the Qur’an, or the signs that lead people to faith. Only empty things. Because that is how they can show off and put on airs.

Sending a hypocrite away from Muslims is like turning off a patient’s life support machine. One must never abandon hope that someone in a coma may recover. You cannot just pull the plug. You have to wait until the person comes out of the coma. But some people never do, they die in a comatose state. The hypocrite is like that.

The hypocrite is always looking for a reason to desert Muslims and join the unbelievers. One must not give them the opportunity. But if he is really a hypocrite, the system will eventually get rid of him. No matter what you do. It would be a sin not to show patience and to try to get rid of him directly. That is no good. You have to show patience, because they may end up being cured. The hypocrite needs to be treated.

The hypocrite watches the struggle between Muslims and unbelief like a gladiatorial spectacle. If he thinks that unbelief has the upper hand, he will abandon the Muslims and attach himself to unbelief in a single moment. The hypocrite is quite vile. He will sign up to them without a moment’s hesitation.

The hypocrite is a master when it comes to supporting and helping unbelief. Verses about the hypocrites say that hypocrites provide enormous intelligence for unbelief, but that when they see a weakness in unbelief, they flee that, too.

The hypocrite is certain he is a victim of injustice, and that is why he has this hatred of believers. He also thinks that system of unbelief is very just, and he praises it lavishly.

The hypocrite is blatantly immoral. He serves people of unbelief like a slave, makes all kinds of sacrifices for them with his insane energy and does everything that he can for them just to make life difficult for believers.

The hypocrite wishes to return to his old beliefs and lifestyle at the first opportunity. His mind is always full of unbelief. That idea never leaves his head. After becoming a Muslim he still wishes to return to his old immorality, wild ways, lack of character, dishonor or whatever. He cannot forget that life of unbelief. He goes round and round but always ends up in the same place.

Hypocrites think, “Muslims may one day be scattered and crushed, but unbelief can never be destroyed,’ They have always regarded unbelief as powerful, and they have always ended up defeated.

Trusting in unbelief but not in Muslims, that kind of hypocritical way of thinking, is something that attracts the wrath of God.

“I can live by faith and be together with those lacking faith at the same time,” he says. That is when hypocrisy begins. If you act together with the Prophet and with Muslims, then God will love you. But if you abandon Muslims and think you are being very clever, that is no good.

Hypocrites feel suffocated if they do not come into contact with blasphemy. In any case they will figure out a way to come into contact with blasphemy. That is what they thrive on. You will never see a hypocrite who does not have some connection with blasphemy. Making mischievous and secret contact is an irrevocable quality of the hypocrite; it is their disease.

The most distinct characteristic of hypocrites, see, you should never forget this; in any case, they will come into contact with blasphemy. You will be astonished, they turn up like bad pennies, and they will absolutely make that contact with blasphemy. This is their most persistent quality and this is because they need it for intelligence.

Hypocrites always move in the dead of night. They need silence. The very first thing these hypocrites would do in the dark is to get in touch with unbelievers, providing immediate intelligence to them. They cannot live any other way.

You cannot love someone with mere flesh and blood. If you look at things on the basis of flesh and blood, they will smother you, and nothing will come of it. You must love the manifestation and spirit of God in the other person.

If you regard everything as a manifestation of God, He will make you love them, and they will love you. It is God Who brings that love into being: There is no other kind of love. Love of God is the only love.

If you try to establish a Kurdish state inside Turkey, that would be an act of murder against the whole Islamic world. In other words, that would be a project aimed at annihilating Turkishness and the Islamic world and we will never allow it.
