Quality is the most crucial characteristic of life. Quality is the most crucial aspect of beauty. Without quality there is no beauty. For instance, Heaven is quality in its entirety. Every corner of Heaven is high quality. When quality ends, beauty ends as well.

Money is not an essential condition for quality; intelligence and taste is.

Muslims should look for power and honor in Truth. Actually Muslims are the ones one should look with honor. They should show respect and reverence towards them, not towards those in disbelief.

A person cannot have quality if he doesn't like his own culture. If he only likes foreign cultures, that would mean unmannerliness. That is the manner of a wanna-be. If you are unable to realize the beauty, depth and richness of your own culture, if you are unable to feel that quality and are unable to present it with quality, that means you are a wanna -be.

We need to start with high quality people, not with high quality furniture. Without high quality people, high quality furniture and high quality places mean nothing. First of all, we need to educate high quality people and for that to happen we need to develop high quality ideas.

Quality people cannot be brought up with ideas of no quality. Islam in the Qur'an is the high quality idea. That is not the understanding of Islam advocated by idolaters, it is not the orthodox traditional understanding of Islam. You cannot find quality there. An intense inferiority would come out of that.

When a person lacking quality enters a high quality building, the quality in that location would disappear. But when a high quality person enters a low quality location, it would make that place high quality. He would make it a high quality place with only slight changes.

A person lacking quality is a grave scourge. First of all, they should underline high-quality thinking, high-quality opinions. High quality books are required for that. High quality works, high quality writings are required. If you attempt to educate people with loveless, hateful writings lacking quality, the outcome would be wild and crude people lacking quality.

A life lacking quality is horrible; it is the other name of Hell.

A Ministry of Quality should be formed as soon as possible. And the Ministry of Quality should follow a policy that is based on quality in ideas, in people, in gardens, in trades, in every sphere: Quality should become the national policy of the state.

A meeting lacking quality, a building lacking quality, attire lacking quality would all bother people; it distresses people. Quality on the other hand unburdens one's heart. It is a blessing of the world. Quality is the other name of beauty.

Once you unleash a lack of quality, it would be like a very deep pit. It goes on and on deeper towards disgrace. It goes on and on towards ignominy.

Ladies wearing low-neck dresses are perfect Muslims; so are those wearing headscarves. Bearing hostility against women wearing low-neck dresses is as shameful as bearing hostility against women wearing headscarves. We condemn both of these attitudes.

The main characteristic of Asia is that a lack of quality rules in Asia. Human life has no value in Asia. I am not saying this about everywhere in Asia, but in general they regard people as machines. Turkey's European, loving, modern way of faithful thinking, full of love for God, will put away this dreadfulness. We will be a role model for the whole world.

Unbelievers are only your friends when they have an interest in being so. They turn into your enemies when their interest in you ends but that is not the case in Islam. In Islam there is patience, there is compassion.

A Muslim should improve themselves to such an extent that others would never say, “This one will do something treacherous.” I mean he should not give anyone reason to say, “He will do something treacherous somehow!” He should give such a reassurance; only then he can be a real Muslim. One should say, “It is impossible for him to do something treacherous!”

There is nothing good in disbelief. There is only perversion, filth, disloyalty, treachery, improper speech and intolerance in disbelief. You talk to a person and in two hours you see that he is acting treacherously. There is a sense of stability in Muslims. They are steady and reliable now and will be steady and reliable in two hours, in ten days, in a year, in twenty years, all for the good pleasure of God.

Unbelievers might sometimes say that - May God forbid- “Muslims are acting in a gullible fashion”. Actually they [Muslims] are the wise ones; they are the ones doing the most reasonable. With faith auspiciousness comes to their lives, they become more beautiful inside and out. Even their organs rejoice in faith; people rejoice in faith inside and out. Their eyes, their gaze becomes meaningful; their expressions become meaningful; their mind, their foresight is opened with faith, their speech becomes beautiful.

There is no such thing as a "moderate Muslim." Muslims are those who abide by the Qur'an. Those who abide by the Qur'an are Muslims, if they don't, they don't. There are two different types of Muslims; those who abide by the Qur'an and those who don't. There is no such thing as a moderate Muslim.

Muslims should ally with religious Christians or else the antichrist will crush both Muslims and Christians and Jews. Muslims, Jews, Christians and all, they plan not to leave any devout people.

The alliance of Muslims and Christians, the alliance of Muslims and Jews against the antichrist is urgent. Muslims should be one within the other with the Christians.

A Muslim would pick the side of Islam if he/she is forced to pick sides in between irreligion and Islam. A Muslim cannot be impartial; he would then be staved off.

When an unbeliever looks at a Muslim, God creates a shade before his eyes. They become unable to see the beauty there. They keep saying, “These ones are unable to live their lives to the fullest.”

Muslims and people of faith would always be attacked. Spineless ones with weak character would be defeated. But noble, decent people with strong personality would not collapse and remain standing with the help of God.

Almighty God tells Muslims to show their impeccable strength. He tells them to appear strong and powerful, and not to appear in weakness and frailty. When unbelievers see weakness, they become fierce; that is also what Bediuzzaman says.
