The Prophet (saas) was only charged with abiding by the Qur’an. It is not possible for him to make additions or deletions from the Qur’an.

Mourning is the name we give to a respectful attitude towards those we’ve lost. Mourning doesn’t mean being frantic with sorrow.

Radicals cannot succeed in attaining quality and because they cannot attain quality, they try to put it out of sight.

Idolaters would not want any good to fall on Muslims, they wouldn’t want them to laugh, to have fun, to dress well, to live in a beautiful house, to have a good education, to enjoy high quality. They advocate squalor like theirs everywhere they go. They want everyone to live in that kind of squalor. It is apparent that we would not give way to that. God wouldn’t allow that and He will make His servants instrumental in preventing it.

If you submit to the Qur’an, if you love God and live love and passion, God would beautify you as well. What would happen to one if one lives in jealousy, hatred, rage and malice? The cells of the body would become cancerous. That person’s nose would get ugly, their mouth, hands, their whole body would become ugly.

Compassion, mercy, leniency: That is what we ask from God, is it not? What do we want in Heaven? We want Almighty God to forgive us and to be lenient, compassionate and protective towards us. We therefore need to treat people in the same manner as well.

A destructive attitude is unacceptable for a Muslim. God says, “” He says, “If you had been rough or hard of heart, they would have scattered from around you. “

If you want your words to be healing and instructive, you should be aware that the Qur’an has taken a lenient, gentle attitude as a basis. That means fair admonition, saying good words, approaching people with compassion; those are the commands of the Qur’an.

When you talk about Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh) you will be aware of the antichrist (dajjal); when you talk about the dajjal you will be aware of Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh). These two constitute a whole. I mean everything is created with its contrast; like day and night, or good and bad. If there is a dajjal, there absolutely is a Mahdi; if there is a Mahdi, there absolutely is a dajjal.

A Muslim would be aware of evil plottings but would not be distressed about them; that is because God is the One Who creates them as well, so a Muslim should keep his calm.

What kind of an attitude is mentioned in the verses of the Qur’an? One that doesn’t give way to any tension, rage, or any kind of disturbance in the heart; not giving way to such manners. Not feeling afraid or sad, not being uneasy. In short, the Qur’an mentions an attitude that avoids all sorts of attitudes that could psychologically disturb a person.

A Muslim should be steadfast. I mean he should refrain from losing his temper or getting angry.

How should fair admonition be done? It should be in a non-offending manner that doesn’t hurt anyone’s feelings, that doesn’t agitate anyone, that doesn’t disturb anyone.

There is a beginning and an end for everything. God has neither. Beginnings and endings are only for those who are created: Yet Alhamdulillah, because we are carrying the soul of God we will have a beginning but not an ending in Heaven.

One should always think good of God. Just like one always thinks good about the one he loves, he should also have an absolutely good opinion about God as well. When something happens, a Muslim says, “Almighty God has certainly created this as a blessing. Almighty God knows the best.”

When Almighty God creates a detail, when He creates something with His wisdom, a Muslim would say, “We might not have a full understanding of God’s wisdom but He knows everything about us. We’ve submitted ourselves to Him.”

The artistry of God is being very gloriously manifested in the human cell. If we could put a person inside a cell and let him live there for a week, his forehead would never stop prostrating. People have weak faith because they cannot see that properly, because they cannot see those worlds.

If a person could get inside a chromosome and witness that system he could never stop prostrating all his life. If he could enter a human cell, if he could become a protein and witness the working system there, if he could carry out the duty of a protein himself, if he could wander around inside a cell he would be out of breath with awe, he would fall in love with God. One should be able to get inside that, inside that human cell with his heart, with his mind.

One should see what God means. God wants to draw us near to Him; He wants us to remember Him. If you insistently resist remembering, if you do not want to get closer to God, disasters will fall upon you like rain and they will keep coming.

The struggle against radicalism is given with the Qur’an.

There is no such thing as a "moderate Muslim." Muslims are those who abide by the Qur'an. Those who abide by the Qur'an are Muslims, if they don't, they don't. There are two different types of Muslims; those who abide by the Qur'an and those who don't. There is no such thing as a moderate Muslim. Quotes

It is not acceptable to support ISIS; that is because they are trapped in idolatry. But many Muslims are also in idolatry. I cannot support their faith either. The Qur’an is enough according to my belief. They do not accept the fact that the Qur’an is enough. Consequently it is not possible for me to support such a belief. Quotes

If you abide by different sects instead of abiding by the Qur'an, it would be unlawful. If God says; "I have sent you the Qur'an. Where did you come up with those sects?" What would you have said? If God asks; "Are you going to abide by the Qur'an or the sects?" what would we say? We are of course responsible of abiding by the Qur'an. Quotes

You ask him "what is your religion?" and he responds by telling you his sect. Well, are you not responsible of abiding by the Qur'an? You are saying I am abiding by this sect. Where does it write in the Qur'an to abide by a sect? God only mentions abiding by the Qur'an. Where did you come up with the idea of abiding by a sect? Quotes

People should return to the Qur’an and for that to happen, people should turn their faces towards the system of the Mahdi. Without the system of the Mahdi, turning towards the Qur’an is very difficult. If it were possible, it would have been done by now. Quotes

Radicals have laid such a heavy burden on Muslims; so much so that they have driven Muslims almost mad. They are unable to turn right or left, it is forbidden to laugh, it is forbidden to talk to women. God wants us to laugh; He wants us to be joyous. Why do you hurt them in vain? They are inventing prohibitions on their own. Laugh; laugh as ever you like, wander around as ever you like, put up the pictures you like at your home, put up statues, let young girls put on make up as ever they like, let them be well-groomed; let young men dance and have fun. These are all lawful and permitted according to the Qur'an. Quotes

Every father, every mother in society has a different, specific understanding of religion. Youngsters have such a specific understanding of religion as well. They contradict one another. They do not like each other's way. However, had everyone abided by the Qur'an, they would all become an ummah. Quotes

For the love of God, Muslim Brotherhood should give up fanaticism. They should return to the Qur'an. They will then be very comfortable; the whole matter would then be resolved. Fanaticism would be crashed everywhere, God would never give relief in fanaticism. That is not possible. Quotes

God will give relief and comfort to people if they completely abide by the Qur'an, God will give them comfort. Yet they fail to put their trust in the Qur'an. They cannot put their trust in God's Book. Trust. If they were to abide by the Qur'an, all these matters would be resolved. Leave fanaticism, leave superstitions aside. Quotes

The origin of the disaster Egypt is facing is a thousand of their 1001 books. This scourge would have not landed on them if they were to abide by one single book. This scourge came upon them because they abided by a thousand and one books. For instance this is the origin of the hatred towards Jews, that is the origin of the hatred towards Christians as well. One should not step outside the Qur'an. May God forbid if you say that the Qur'an is not sufficient, you would be waging a war against God. God says that the Qur'an is "enough" and you say that it is not. God says that He "explained everything in it" and you say "nothing is sufficiently explained in it." You'd thus be challenging the Book of God, may God forbid. If you dare to challenge the Book of Allah, you'd thus be challenging God, may God forbid. Quotes

If one believes in the sufficiency of the Qur'an, radicalism would disappear; that scourge would disappear. The whole issue lies with believing in the sufficiency of the Qur'an. If you accept the sufficiency of the Qur'an, you would also feel love for Alevis, for Shias and for Wahhabis as well. You would then hold both ladies with scarves and also ladies who do not cover their heads and those who wear low-neck dresses in high esteem and respect all of them, love all of them. You would not make them uncomfortable. Quotes

Our Prophet (saas) learned what is unlawful from the Qur'an. There is no unlawful or lawful apart from what is in the Qur'an. The Companions asked our mother Hazrat Aisha (ra) "What is the sunnah of Rasulullah?" And she replied "the Qur'an." So do not invent things. Lawful and unlawful acts are only defined by the Qur'an. Radicals consider the commands of God in the Book He sent as insufficient. For instance, salat (prayers) is explained in the Qur'an yet they see it as insufficient and try to add things to it. Fasting for instance; they look at the Qur'an and see it as insufficient. They try to add things to it. They try to add things to every other religious act. But if there is something that is in conflict with their own interests, then they try to subtract things from those commands. They say, "This verse has been nullified, the command of this verse has been lifted". Quotes

Satan complicates religion and people thus keep aloof from religion. They transformed Islam into the most terrifying religion in the world right now. They misrepresent it as a system that kills all life, that removes all aesthetics, all the beautiful aspects of life, as a system that demands terror, that demands bloodshed and that ruins life. The fact is however, Almighty God says, " God desires ease for you; He does not desire difficulty for you." And He says " God has selected you and not placed any constraint upon you in the religion —as in the religion of your forefather Abraham." Quotes

With radicalism, they have stigmatized Islam throughout the whole world. They want to extinguish the sun of Islam. Hanging people, chopping the up, beating and degrading women, calling them half-people, demanding no music, no pictures, no art, no goodness, no beauty, no affection, no nothing. Are you all mad? It is as if they have a longing for Hell. There is no such thing in Islam. Quotes

The things demanded by the Qur'an are only a few: Performing prayers is explained very briefly in the Qur'an, fasting is explained very briefly and giving alms is explained very briefly. God commands us to be merciful, compassionate, to avoid telling lies, to be true. He commands us to have good intentions and to love one another, to love God a lot; to be of help to one another and to avoid worldly ambitions for goods because everything belongs to God. The commands in the Qur'an are very few. The rest is all about the foulness of the unbelievers, the impertinent behavior of the unbelievers, of the people of heresy and the responses given to them. Does Shi'ism have a place in the Qur'an? Does Sunnism have a place in the Qur'an? Where do you come up with those concepts? Does Wahabism have a place in the Qur'an? There is only one Qur'an, there is only one Islam. The only name we all have is 'Muslim'. Quotes
