God says that, "This world is not the place for play and idle sport. The Heaven is the place for play and idle sport. This world is a place for trial." That is why if you fasten yourself to this world, you would be stuck with it, says God. But if you aim for the Hereafter, if you aim My approval, I will make you happy for all eternity, you will have fun and laugh. Those who fasten themselves to this world would merely grovel, let me say that much. They would merely wallow and flounder. Nothing else would ever happen.

What good would it be if one is in Heaven unless he doesn't feel love for God? Muslims take great pleasure from Heaven because they love God.

Radicals have always been obsessed about the marriages of our Prophet (saas), his love for women. They never want to recite or talk about the verses related with that subject. They merely want to gloss over that subject completely. For instance, they do not want to talk about the fact that there are women in the Heaven.

If you abide by the Qur'an you cannot say that music is unlawful, you cannot say that paintings, sculptures, having fun and laughing are unlawful; but if you are in a radical conservative system, music, paintings and sculptures are all unlawful.

For you to believe in love in Heaven you need to show self-sacrifice, bravery, patience, cleanliness and piety. A Muslim feels sure of himself because he shows that morality; he feels sure of being loved. Those who love him, love him in that respect anyway.

There is no patience in Heaven, there is no courage, there is no reason to be courageous. You cannot be patient, courageous, brave. There is nothing to resign one's self to. Purity, self-sacrifice, none of those exist in Heaven. It is the abode of fun. Of course there is being thankful and praising, there is seeing the Manifestations of God and loving.

Something happens and we act patiently. But we also reinforce our patience phase by phase. What is this, then? This is education. An education for what? An education for Heaven. God chooses a handful of Muslims and educates them here. When they are directly put in Heaven, what happened to the Prophet Adam (pbuh) happens. It doesn't work that way, that is to say. With the education given the mind settles, the personality develops and one starts appreciating the blessings of God.

There are constant negatives and positives in this world. For instance, night and day, good and bad, beautiful smells and bad smells, good food and bad food, fear and trust; everything is created with its opposite. But that is not the case in Heaven. So everything will be one -sided and everything will be positive.

There are no grumpy people in Heaven; no one acting harsh, no one being impertinent, no one being greedy. There is no anger, no fear, nothing of that sort in Heaven.

You will find everything that you like within your culture, within your knowledge; all that you fancy, all that you imagine in Heaven. For instance, some like car racing, some like boat races, some like swimming and some like painting. And they will all find their likings in Heaven.

Some people are puzzled and ask, "How can there be motor racing in Heaven?" Or else, "How can there be cinemas?" Actually, all these blessings are presented to us here as examples anyway; they are given to us here for us to get to know them.

Competition is something our Prophet (saas) sees as acceptable; it is something religion considers as acceptable. It is also seen in Heaven. Muslims will have fun racing each other. They will have motor races, boat races to have fun, or have footraces or horse races.

Children who die young will remain as the children of Heaven. They will run around and have fun, play games and laugh there.

Some people never accept patience and ordeals, yet ask directly for blessings. That is unacceptable. You can neither attain Heaven like that nor attain the good pleasure of God. This is a place of trial not a place of fun. Almighty God says, "If We had desired to have some amusement, We would have derived it from Our Presence, but We did not do that." Heaven is the place of amusement, there is no such thing in this world.

Religion is a system that gathers all the beauties of the world inside. There is joy in religion, there is merriness, there is fun, there is music in religion. Ladies can wander around comfortably, they can wear revealing clothes if they like and cover their heads if they like; no one interferes them. They can laugh as they like, they can have tattoos if they like. Religion would not interfere with such things. Religion commands us to have a good conscience and be conscientious, to be honest, to be reasonable, to be meticulous about what is lawful and what is not. Religion is the other name of joy.

It is alright to listen to music, it is alright to have fun and to laugh. Anything to the contrary would disrupt human nature; it would destabilize one's balance. May God forbid, you would make yourself fall ill if you disrupt your nature. Be joyous, be happy, have fun, laugh and be playful. That is how God created you. Otherwise, you turn in on yourself, you become ill, your health would then be disrupted, you would then lose your strength to think. It also makes it impossible for you to live by Islam.

Some people believe that it is not possible to think about God while having fun. For instance, when one goes to a wedding or a disco, or when one listens to music on the radio, they believe that God should be forgotten to do so. That is very wrong.

Islam prevails everywhere. One can mention the Name of God while having fun or in a wedding. There is no such thing as saying one cannot talk about God in a place of entertainment. This is the result of a mindset that tries to spread irreligiousness presenting it as if it is something in demand. That is because people are very fond of music and entertainment. These people say “Do not talk about God when there is music and entertainment. Simply keep quiet.” Irreligiousness is the result of such a mentality.

Music is lawful by religion, paintings are lawful, having fun is lawful, sculpture is lawful. I mean, lawful things are innumerable. Things that are forbidden by religion are concisely defined in the Qur'an and they are very few. God says, 'I have deemed everything other than those lawful for you.' How do you come up with all those forbidden acts on your own?

Within the course of world history, they [bigots] have generally turned this world into a living hell for women. When born a woman, she doesn’t have the opportunity to have fun, to wear what she likes or to dress up. Loving and being loved is forbidden, being joyous is forbidden, everything is forbidden for them. Let them have fun, let them be joyous and wear whatever they like. Leave them alone so that they can live in peace.

Banning ladies having fun is like uprooting an essential beauty out of this world. Women are the most important ornaments of the world. If women have fun, if they are happy, if they are cheerful, if they are able to show their beauty, it would be great.

Having fun, Islam, the Qur'an, eating and drinking and everything else; life is a whole with all its entirety. There is no life far-remote from Islam. I mean there is no such thing to call "this part is Islamic and this part is non-Islamic." Islam is in every breath we take; while having fun, while laughing, sleeping, lying and waking up; Islam is in everything and everywhere one can think of. Any moment of life one claims to be outside of Islam is full of unawareness and means devastation.

Our brothers awaiting the system of the Mahdi are waiting for it as if they are waiting for some great fun. That is not the case. Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh) will pass away just a short while after the global dominion of the moral values of Islam. That is because God does not make Islam prevail for Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh) to have fun or for others to have fun. God makes Islam prevail to keep his Word. Heaven is the real place to have fun.

The duration of dominion of the system of the Mahdi will be very short. The only goal with it is God saying, "I will keep My promise, see that I will make Islam prevail in the world. It is easy for Me." Or else it is not in the sense of having fun, playing around and making the most of the world.

God checks up faith related sensitivities. Starting from the Prophet Adam (pbuh) until the Last Day, all people will be put through a perfect trial without any exceptions. No one has ever been granted any privileges that would remove their freewill of mind.
