Women are ruined in the traditionalist orthodox understanding of Islam. They can neither have the freedom to dress up, nor to laugh, or to sit properly or to walk about as they like. Even their eating as they wish is an offense. They [the radicals] say, "If you let them eat a lot, they would go rampant and cause you troubles. If you let them wear beautiful clothes they would attempt to go out to the streets to show off."

Chopping people up, cutting their heads off and holding those heads in their hands, leaving everywhere in blood, in cries and groans, hunger, unaesthetic, ugly images, depravation; this is the dreadfulness in which a great many portion of the believers of the orthodox understanding of Islam live in.

In the traditionalist, orthodox understanding of Islam, the world has turned into a grave; everywhere is a place of torture. The "a cardigan and a bite of food" mentality is the other name of misery. Pain and suffering is considered as a foundation. It is forbidden to laugh, it is forbidden to be joyous; music, paintings, television, everything beautiful is forbidden. All those things that are beautiful, all the beauties that one can think of are forbidden. Only hatred, rage and anger are allowed.

What we are talking about is an understanding of Islam that would save the world. There is love, there is brotherhood; there is goodness, beauty, arts and aesthetics in Islam. Women are held in high esteem, women are free, children are free and liberated, young people are free and liberated; there is joy and happiness everywhere in Islam.

Radicals see Islam as unsavory in their own minds. Actually joy and happiness is Islam; Islam is a beauty. But these people consider joy and happiness as unsavory. That makes it a sort of the spirit of unbelievers.

Life is very difficult, that is how God created. If you put radicalism on top of this like a hump on the back, saying that one should not laugh, one should not go out to streets, one should not talk on the phone, it would ruin society; there would not be one happy person left. One would lose his sanity, one's mind would stop working and one would become unable to do anything, unable to produce anything and would ruin all his artistic capability. I mean it is not possible to attain anything with the traditionalist orthodox understanding of Islam. People would be ruined.

Bediuzzaman advanced religion, the truth of religion in Turkey and Turkey cleaned itself of radicalism. The beauty of today's Turkey belongs to these two individuals; first to Ataturk and second to Bediuzzaman. As a result of hidden knowledge, these two appear to be opposing each other. Not everyone can understand this. Their appearing as opposed to one another is the way of the hidden knowledge.

Radicals regard women as evil, they see them as the source of sins that ruin men, destroy families and harm humanity. I mean, misogyny is very widespread and intense among radicals.

If you regard arts as unsavory, if you despise music, painting, sculpture and architecture, if you attempt to run away from a house with paintings, if you say "dogs are evil, you should chase off them when you see them," such a country would never advance. The reason why Europe advanced is because they are open to arts and science.

The radicals are created as the enemy of the system of the Mahdi. As a matter of fact, their animosity is a special system created to elevate the rank of the system of the Mahdi. Radicals are the people of hell created to elevate the rank of the system of the Mahdi. God elevates the rank of the Mahdi (pbuh) with those people of the hell.

Once the made-up superstitions of the bigots and the radicals are discarded, the immaculate, pure and lucid religion of Islam remains behind.

Radicals have laid such a heavy burden on Muslims; so much so that they have driven Muslims almost mad. They are unable to turn right or left, it is forbidden to laugh, it is forbidden to talk to women. God wants us to laugh; He wants us to be joyous. Why do you hurt them in vain? They are inventing prohibitions on their own. Laugh; laugh as ever you like, wander around as ever you like, put up the pictures you like at your home, put up statues, let young girls put on make up as ever they like, let them be well-groomed; let young men dance and have fun. These are all lawful and permitted according to the Qur'an.

All malice, all persecution, all murders are perpetrated by those who do not fear God. Communists, Darwinists, materialists, those who do not believe in God, those who would not fear God. They all emerge from among those who do not fear God. For instance, radicals behave viciously because they do not fear God.

Satan dragged down Islam in the world by specifically complicating it. Complicating religion is a satanic method. It appeared as the product of that filthy mind of the satan.

Islam prevails everywhere. One can mention the Name of God while having fun or in a wedding. There is no such thing as saying one cannot talk about God in a place of entertainment. This is the result of a mindset that tries to spread irreligiousness presenting it as if it is something in demand. That is because people are very fond of music and entertainment. These people say “Do not talk about God when there is music and entertainment. Simply keep quiet.” Irreligiousness is the result of such a mentality.

France will turn towards religion, towards Islam: Otherwise, there will be no end to such scourges. These are only small incidents testing them. There are currently thousands of cells ready to shed blood in France. People they least expect are in this. This can only be solved with love, compassion, science and knowledge. It will not be solved any other way.

The bigots say that Islam is the religion of the grave. You live under the soil, you live in darkness in their world. And they say, “There is radiance in their world, there is light, there is music and there is art. There is life in their world, there is dance; such a religion is unacceptable. Religion is lived under the soil, it is lived through with torture. You live in blood and pus and that is what religion is,” they say. And some naive people believe in this. They thus surrender to satan unknowingly. We are spoiling this game and we will continue to do so!

According to the radical mindset, religion is a faith for the grave; it is a religion where death and darkness is experienced. In irreligiousness, there is music, there are paintings, there is fun, there is dance and there is life. In religion – according to their mindset- there is no music, no life, no fun. It is like they are buried alive. Everything is unlawful according to their mindset, everything is forbidden and there is no life! It is like the life of a man buried under asphalt.

It is not right to hamper any religion. Let them spread their religions. Let Christians spread Christianity, let Jews spread Judaism, let Muslims spread Islam. So long as societies are religious; before all else, it is very important for societies to embrace religion.

Islam is portrayed as a religion of terror. This is the reason behind this dislike. They call it Islamophobia but actually this is terror-phobia; people are afraid of terror. You are talking about a system of terror and you are presenting it as if it is Islam. You have named terror as Islam. Actually there is compassion, mercy, love, arts, aesthetics, science, beauty and everything beautiful in Islam.

Youth should be taught about Islam, Christianity and Judaism comprehensively as a part of general culture. Religion is the main philosophy ruling the world we are living in.

With radicalism, they have stigmatized Islam throughout the whole world. They want to extinguish the sun of Islam. Hanging people, chopping the up, beating and degrading women, calling them half-people, demanding no music, no pictures, no art, no goodness, no beauty, no affection, no nothing. Are you all mad? It is as if they have a longing for Hell. There is no such thing in Islam.

Modern thought is a modern understanding of Islam. There is love, mercy, peace, well-being, beauty, decency, kindness, respect, reverence, quality, the most advanced technology, the most advance arts in Islam. There is respect for every idea, respect to everyone in Islam. That is great. In communism, anyone outside that opinion is killed, they are terrorized, hanged and chopped up.

Islam is where love and affection can be experienced in the most beautiful fashion. Muslims are in love with Muslims; they never put a limit to their love because they love with the love of God. Would one be surprised at the love of God? One should not be surprised at the love for other people either. That would always increase. A Muslim could never say, "I love God this much," as that love is endless.

Limited things are hard on people. Why does God promise an endless life in Heaven? Being limited gives pain to people, that is why. Limitless, endless things are beautiful. There is a beginning for a Muslim but there is no end. Almighty God has no beginning and no ending.
