Jihad: "Jahd" means striving. These people, however, understand jihad as chopping people up. Instead of chopping up that person, would it not be better if you try to persuade that person, if you persuade that person with your ideas? When you chop that person up you would be annihilating that person, he would not have the opportunity to be a Muslim! Yet if you preach religion, if you tell them about God, they would come to believe.

One says, “I have lived a very happy life, I have never faced any troubles all my life.” That is not a gain. First of all he won’t go to Heaven. In the Qur’an God says; “Or did you suppose that you would enter the Garden without facing the same as those who came before you?” (Surat Al-Baqara, 214) A Muslim should strive on the path of God, face difficulties and make an effort against unbelief, against the hypocrites.

It is difficult to give a struggle against hypocrites. It is difficult to give a struggle against unbelief. It is not easy to serve Islam for God. Of course one would face hardship; that hardship beautifies Muslims. The difficulties he faced is the reason why our Prophet (saas) was so beautiful.

What is meant by jihad in the verses of the Qur'an is struggling; an intellectual struggle, an effort, all sorts of activities. People tend to take it as if it means "hanging people and chopping them up." The fact is however, jihad is the name of the effort put on the path of God.

God regards martyrdom as the highest form of love. That is what God likes the most. But of course the most acceptable martyrdom is attained while one is actually striving on the path of God. That is because such a person goes to war openly knowing that it is possible that he will be killed and will be martyred there. Going on a struggle on the path of God, without feeling fear, is what is most acceptable.

A Heaven resided in by robots is not an environment God likes, God doesn't want robots. One who hasn't proven his loyalty, his patience or his courage wouldn't have a feeling of self-worth in that sense. That means he couldn't regard himself as worthy and beautiful if he didn't make sacrifices, if he didn't act generously, if he didn't strive on the path of God, if he didn't do anything to show his love.

Our Prophet (saas) says; "whoever of you lives to see him, let him crawl over snow to him and join him". What is meant here is; "Do not give up your service just because the weather is cold." "If you have sensed who Mahdi (pbuh) is, if you have wholeheartedly attached yourself to the Mahdi (pbuh), you should continue your activities." That is the meaning of it. Sometimes cold weather might cause people to retract. You should not make cold, winter or the snow an excuse, you should continue your service.

Even if the Last Day is to come tomorrow, we are charged with serving Islam.

The Companions of our Prophet (saas) always strove for the sake of God. But the hypocrites always had excuses like ‘our houses are exposed' or ‘we would have come if we knew how’. However, if they were told that they would be given gold, they would have immediately obliged. That is because it would have served their interests. However, one's interests should always be in showing good morality; one should choose faith and reward from God instead of gold. Otherwise one would start to turn into an animal.

If no one ever objected to us as we preached the religion, if everyone accepted everything we said, supported us, praised us, what do you think would happen in the Hereafter? The reward would be much less. But if there is objection, if you are working and making an effort despite that objection, the reward will be immense. God creates resistance, a lot of resistance, only so that Muslims will be more greatly rewarded . It is a gift of God to Muslims.

Hypocrites tell Our Prophet (pbuh) and his companions, "If we knew how to fight, we would certainly follow you." Hypocrites intentionally make themselves appear as incompetent. Additionally, they do not want Muslims to carry out activities for the benefit of Islam. So, they also try to hinder Muslims in this regard.

Believers find excitement in the eagerness to carry out jihad, that is to say, struggling intellectually for the sake of Islam. If the hearts of people are plagued by laziness and carelessness, they grow weary and negligent. They withdraw into themselves as they do not concern themselves with religion, fear of God, or love of God. They do not feel any excitement that will reflect on their faces.

May God reward with Heaven all our brothers and sisters that work for God’s good pleasure.

Jihad means making an effort. It is one’s struggle against one’s lower self. For instance, constant intellectual effort against the disbelief system is jihad.

The word ‘jihad’ means ‘striving or showing an effort’ NOT in the form of 'waging a war', but in the form of an 'intellectual struggle' according to the Qur’an. In Islam, war, military action, is only waged for the purposes of self-defense.

As the level of welfare increases, the number of those who patiently endure difficulties or those who endure pain decreases. Such an environment does not help the cultivation of art. Those who are brought up in poverty, those who endure pain and difficulties often perform art quite beautifully. God gives pain and ordeals for love to deepen. The more one endures difficulties, the more he knows love, the more he knows profundity.

You have no power to bring everyone to the True Path. God is the One to guide people to the Truth. One needs to see if the way he talks, if his culture, if his sincerity enough? One can only be influential if he is really sincere.

If you attempt to turn the system of the government into a federal system in a small country, that would be dangerous. It would be a very dangerous and that would be an act set out to destroy Turkey. If you set out to destroy Turkey, Turkey would destroy you. Then the Last Day would break loose.

We will cause love to prevail in the world. God created this world for love to prevail. He created it for His servants to exist and to worship Him but what He asks from His servants is love. God says; "Love Me, so that I will love you." Without love, there is no meaning to this world.

This world is not a place to cry but a place to laugh; this world is not a living hell but a heaven. We want heaven both in this world and in the Hereafter. Those who want Hell in this world will be left in Hell in the Hereafter as well.

We will respond to those who try to turn this world into a living hell by turning the world into Heaven on Earth.

What they call "the rightful struggle of Palestine" is Palestine and Israel making peace and living in brotherhood; it is not wiping Israel from the region and wiping it off from the map.

God is putting Freemasonry under the command of Islam; He is putting the Templars under the command of Muslims; He is putting the Illuminati under the command of Muslims in the sense of global triumph.

Hypocrites look for a place to hide when they hear the recitation of the Qur'an. In the Qur'an, God says that "they turn their backs in aversion." But they approach when they hear idle talk; this is a characteristic of a hypocrite.

Hypocrite plays mind-games in his own way. He approaches with plain logic and try to present himself as very religious and very superior in every aspect; yet all the while he tries to present Muslims as bad in every aspect.
