The only reason for economic crisis is depression in faith. About 2014, there will be a religious growth in the whole world and this crisis will then be solved.

Turkey is the most blessed country while Europe is in dire straits. Turkey is the country with the most healthy economy. There is a sound balance in between foreign trade and in domestic trade. And that happened thanks to AK Party. Ak Party has been instrumental in that success.

There is psychological, social and economic crisis in the world right now. Allah is showing people that there is no way for solution other than the system of the Mahdi.

If people start making mention of Allah, if they abide by the system of the Mahdi, if they abide by the Prophet Jesus Messiah, the economic crisis might be solved by 2014. The year 2014 is the end of this punishment but it has a condition. If they give up, the crisis will be solved after 2014, if they don't the scourge will continue increasingly.

A smoke has appeared in the End Times which we live in. A smoke has surrounded the whole world. This is one of the portents of the system of the Mahdi. Because of that smoke, the economic crisis has broken out, because of that smoke wars started and terror erupted. This smoke will go away with the appearance of the system of the Mahdi. Mahdi (pbuh) is the one who will clear away that smoke.

In times of economic crisis people always become devout, they come back to their senses and start acting reasonably. That is why there is always economic distress everywhere around the world. Allah does this especially for people to turn their hearts and faces to Allah.

Because the system of the Mahdi is founded in Turkey, our country is under protection. Even if economic crisis spreads all over the world, even if the world gets destroyed, by the will of Allah, Turkey will be like the ark of Noah.

For an invincible country like the US, becoming helpless and the state going bankrupt, is a portent of the appearance of the Mahdi and a portent of Jesus Messiah being on his duty. God does that specifically for them to turn their faces to God. Almighty God does that to show the importance of love, mercy and compassion.

This economic collapse that has never been seen before in the American history is a portent of the coming of the Jesus Messiah.

The reason why there is economic depression all over the world is because people grew away from God.

God is the One Who gives goods to people. If people attempt to keep all they are given as their own possessions, the body becomes gangrene, the whole system becomes gangrene. The social system, life becomes gangrene, economic crisis starts and people plunge into afflictions.

God assigns the Archangel Michael for economic rout. The Archangel Michael is the one who caused the economic rout in America; God commanded the Archangel Michael and caused the economic rout. Michael inspires people and makes them do as revealed. God is the One Who does that, but He makes the Archangel Michael instrumental in this.

God brought down the American economy. The reason behind this has to do the special groundwork for the appearance of Moshiach, the Mahdi (pbuh). God brought down Russia as well; all of that is for paving the way for the Moshiach.

The world is being designed for the system of the Mahdi, the economy is brought down, God creates great wars and turns the world upside down. But God protects Turkey by commanding the Archangel Michael. Almighty God says, “The Mahdi is there, do not touch those lands.”

Thousands of economic specialists gather together and are unable to put an end to this economic collapse. The wisdom of God, the Archangel Michael’s implementation, renders them helpless. The command comes from God.

A committee decided the collapse of the Russian economy. Almighty God uses a committee, a committee headed by Hazrat Khidr (pbuh). The Archangel Michael is also responsible for this.

God makes the whole world grovel, the whole world is in a wretched state right now. And that is created specifically. There is no real reason for this world to be poor. There are vast lands. It is possible to carry out all sorts of agricultural activities. There is technology, there is everything. Amazingly, God creates economic crises and famines. There is no real reason for those. They are created miraculously. That is because people forget God. Had they praised God and invoked His Name, riches would have flowed all over them profusely.

When God's Name is not recited, that region, that city, that country would become barren. What comes in its place? Hunger and economic crisis. What comes in its place? Terror. Those two dangers. Is God's Name invoked in Greece? No. Is His Name invoked in other countries? For instance, is His Name invoked in the US? What happens then? Hunger comes. Hunger enwraps them all in those vast lands. Terror, meaning fear, comes following that.

Weakness of faith is the greatest illness in the world. It is what lies at the root of all the pains suffered, all the ordeals and diseases. It is what lies at the root of all troubles, hunger and economic crises going on in this world. God turns this world into Heaven for those with strong faith.

God wants goods to be constantly used in His path, not be accumulated and hoarded. That causes scarcity and economic crisis.

Economic crises are created specially by God for the worldly test. Without economic problems, many people could get spoiled and go astray.

God informs us that He creates economic crisis and problems specifically to draw people closer to Himself. “Were it not that mankind might all become one community, We would have given those who reject the All-Merciful silver roofs to their houses and silver stairwasy to ascend.” Qur’an, 43/33

The fact that there will be economic crises in the End Times are foretold both in hadith of our Prophet and in the Torah and the Gospels.

Economic crises take place at times when people pile up money. There will be no problem if people spend money, let them raise the value of Dollar all they want.

God tells in the Qur’an that He creates economic crises from time to time so that people reflect and heed advice. “And We certainly seized the people of Pharaoh with years of famine and a deficiency in fruits that perhaps they would be reminded.” Qur’an, 7:13
