Adnan Oktar: Turkey is on a very fine and auspicious path. It is becoming increasingly clean and healthy. It is being freed from tumors and cancer cells. The convalescence period is over. Turkey is now a fit, strong young man. It will be the leader of the entire Middle East, the Balkans and the entire Islamic world and Turkic world, insha’Allah. The Turkish-Islamic world will unite and a great Turkish-Islamic Union will ensue. Turkey will take charge and be an older brother, it will be an element of balance between America and Russia and will bring an age of peace and well-being to the world, insha’Allah.

Derviş Eroğlu, president of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, said that the people of Cyprus had struggled in poverty up to 1974, but had managed to survive without losing hope that Turkey would come to the island and bring about union and unity even in their darkest days.
Eroğlu went on to say that they would maintain their common cause within that union and unity and in solidarity with the motherland, and said, “We do not regard ourselves as separate. There is no difference between Turks living in Turkey and Turks living on Cyprus. Voices may be occasionally raised against this similarity, but the Cypriot people regard Turkey as the motherland.”.
