Luca Steinmann Talks about Italian People’s Views about Islam

Presenter: What do the Italian people think about Islam? Are they aware of the accurate teachings of the Qur’an?

Luca Steinmann: Well, Islam is something new for the majority of Italians. So generally it is seen for many people as something associated unfortunately to something negative, because they really don't know what is happening, what the Islamic religion is teaching. And they associate Islam to the terrorist attacks that we are living and we are facing in our cities in Europe. So it is a very important thing, it is a very important point for all of us Christians, Muslims, atheists and everyone to fight together against terrorism in order to enable a better comprehension of Islamic religion in Italy and in Europe.
