The Qur'an is interpenetrated with reason. The Qur'an equals reason, reason equals the Qur'an. The Qur'an is pure reason. It is the guide, the way to be reasonable. The laws and the legal system aim to bring forth beautiful and beneficial people. Legal system is a blessing to prevent all kinds of harms. We've seen the good in it. For instance Fazıl Say no longer says any inappropriate things against people, he avoids making indecorous statements. His statements are much more decent and much more appropriate now and that is a good thing. This means the law has had a positive effect on him.
