According to what has been foretold in the Hadiths; The students of the Mahdi will be tested with diseases and with sorrow. With the appearance of Mahdi (pbuh) Allah will take away diseases and the sorrow from them.

At the time of the Mahdi (pbuh) people will forget sorrows.

People get cancer out of lovelessness, distress and sorrows, they get ulcers. They get a thousand and one different diseases and mental illnesses. A great majority of people, 70-80% of them use antidepressants. However if love were to prevail, there would be no need for such remedies. There would be no need for those antidepressants. Lovelessness is not something a human body can handle.

The soul is trained through hardships and ordeals.

Pain, sufferings and tears would not cease to exist unless people abide by Mahdi (pbuh).

People cannot stand hardships and difficulties. About 60-70 % of the people are using antidepressants. A grave fear has enwrapped the whole world. Let us be friends, let us be brothers and sisters, let us live in peace, friendship and in love with people from all faiths and religions.

In the Qur'an, Allah says that our religion is as easy as the religion of the Prophet Abraham (pbuh). Allah says; "Allah desires ease for you; He does not desire difficulty for you." Some people try to make religion difficult; they try to show things that are not in religion as if they are. Allah has made religion easy, He has relieved people of heavy loads and chains around them. Almighty Allah says this about our Prophet (saas) ".. those who follow the Messenger, the Unlettered Prophet, whom they find written down with them in the Torah and the Gospel, commanding them to do right and forbidding them to do wrong, making good things halal for them and bad things haram for them, relieving them of their heavy loads and the chains which were around them. "

Hazrat Mahdi will experience some incidents which would sadden his mother but with Allah inspiring relief in her heart, she will not be sad.

According to the signs in the Qur'an and the hadiths, Mahdi (pbuh) will go through very tough testings and difficult trials.

One needs to welcome all sorts of tests that come on his/her way with joy and do well by them with the utmost effort. A tough test coming on one's way means a ship full of gold is coming to him. Sometimes tests might seem to be difficult but they are all full of good deeds.

Prophets are very sensitive. There is a spiritual sensitivity in Mahdis as well. They are all very sensitive. They see colors better, they hear voices better, they are more prone to sadness, they are more prone to worry. That is why the merits they acquire are even more.

In one of his hadiths Our Prophet (saas) says; "Mahdi is your guide that dispels your hardships."

If you say you are in love with Allah, how will you show that love? The struggle you make against hardship, advocating the Beloved One under the hardest of circumstances and siding with Him. Then your faith, love and compassion becomes evident. Otherwise it is not recognized.

Muslims should not be saddened because of the attacks of the bigots, because of the attacks of the system of the dajjal. While people scheme against you, Allah is the One Who enables those schemes. Allah is the One Who creates them. How? With a wisdom.

ALLAH MAKES HIM THE MAHDI ONLY BECAUSE HE TOLERATES SUFFERING AND TROUBLE, AND BECAUSE OF HIS SINCERE LOVE OF ALLAH. In a time span of ten thousand, twenty thousand years, Allah grants that blessing, the blessing of being the Mahdi, only to him. Only because of his endurance to that hardship and trouble.

No matter what happens, Muslims always stand strong. Allah is the One Who creates all scourges, all troubles. Those who do not suffer hardships would not know love.

The tougher the test a person is put through, the higher quality that person would attain.

The beautiful aspect of everything should be seen and talked about. It is a terrible thing to upset people.

What kind of an attitude is mentioned in the verses of the Qur’an? One that doesn’t give way to any tension, rage, or any kind of disturbance in the heart; not giving way to such manners. Not feeling afraid or sad, not being uneasy. In short, the Qur’an mentions an attitude that avoids all sorts of attitudes that could psychologically disturb a person.

One says, “I have lived a very happy life, I have never faced any troubles all my life.” That is not a gain. First of all he won’t go to Heaven. In the Qur’an God says; “Or did you suppose that you would enter the Garden without facing the same as those who came before you?” (Surat Al-Baqara, 214) A Muslim should strive on the path of God, face difficulties and make an effort against unbelief, against the hypocrites.

In the Qur'an, God prohibited sorrow. A Muslim should put aside sorrow through faith. There is no good in sorrow; it merely harms people. Sorrow is a poison that wrecks life, it lays the grounds for illnesses. Joy, on the other hand, is nourishment for the body.

Muslims are always in a good mood. What does sorrow mean? May God forbid, it means, "I do not like what God has created for me." We see the goodness in everything God creates. We see the goodness in it when we have a martyr; we do not get sad, we do not mourn. Mourning is a custom of the pagans, it is the tradition of the idolaters.

A believer should always be in good spirits, full of life. If they feel down, sad or distressed about something, or they're bothered by something, the body will want to sleep to get rid of that feeling. But if one is happy, the body wouldn't want sleep, it would want to get up and live life instead.

A believer only weeps out of joy and happiness. He would never cry out of grief.

Allah tells us to be quiet and to listen when the Qur'an is recited. So one should not speak in the mosque. One should not speak even in a whispering tone. The Mosques are not places to speak. When the Qur'an is recited, it should be listened to quietly. I see this almost in a great portion of all mosques. And that –people speaking in a high tone while the Qur'an is recited- is also sign of the Last Day and the portent of the appearance of Mahdi (pbuh).
