One strives a lot to become friends with one another but all their relations are severed in the slightest mistake. That is why God commands believers to forgive.

When one knows how to forgive, friendship and love becomes incessant. Those who do not know how to forgive lead a lonely, friendless life.

To be completely forgiven, one needs to provide concrete evidence of remorse and strongly emphasize one’s desire to be forgiven.

Good morality is a system that gives people happiness. Even if there happens to be a single arrogant person in an environment, all of the people there would be uncomfortable. People with good morality would be instrumental for happiness wherever they go. It is good morality that makes Heaven beautiful. What makes Heaven beautiful is people’s behaving nicely, not upsetting one another, everyone’s being balanced and level-headed, not having anyone saying inappropriate things, not having any hypocritical people, everyone’s experiencing a fervent love. It is not the rivers, the lands of the Heaven what makes it beautiful. God Himself has the best moral values. Muslims want to adopt the moral values of God. God forgives people in every case, people might not be able to forgive sometimes. God wants to save all His servants, people only feel closer to some people. God does not want people to be approached with ill intentions, He wants people to be approached with good opinions. People have shortcomings when it comes to having good opinions of others. Muslims aspire God’s good morality. When Muslims adopt the good morality of God, they feel at ease themselves and also make people around them feel at ease. This morality is the basic characteristic of Heaven. And the main purpose of this good morality is love. It is for loving God and those created by God.

People’s inability to forgive one another is one of the reasons behind the lovelessness in the world. They get upset and angry about everything and then do not forgive. They would thus be fooled by the plot of the satan. In fact, in the Qur’an God advices us to forgive. “Make allowances for people, command what is right, and turn away from the ignorant.” (Surat Al-A’raf, 199)

Being forgiving is an important religious observation. God creates that specific incident so that you have an opportunity to forgive. A person who cannot forgive, doesn't yet have a character worthy of Heaven. God creates the incident and the act of forgiving.

Some people try to solve everything by getting angry, upset or offended. That is why they have no one they love around them . In fact, people should be forgiving, compassionate, merciful, understanding and should live every incident knowing for sure that God is the One Who creates it. Otherwise it would become very difficult for them to have friends and companions; they cannot be happy and cannot sustain love.

Believers get healthier by forgiving. Forgiveness is the basic component of love, passion and friendship. Without forgiveness, there can be no love.

Believers are willing to forgive, they don't hold grudges, they contain their anger. No subject turns into a matter of tension between believers.

It is important to win people over. Anyone can make a mistake. It is important to allow them to correct their mistakes.

One who is patient, forgiving, merciful, honest, modest, and sacrificing will find love.

God says that He will accept the repentance of an idolater or a hypocrite, whoever repents. One needs to refrain from using language that abandons hope of God’s Mercy.

God is forgiving. Despite persistent insincerity of people, God always forgives.

Our government abandoned the policy of distancing itself from other countries and adopted a loving, peaceful and forgiving approach.

The Turkish government is doing the right thing by fixing our relations with our former allies. God wants us to be loving, peaceful and forgiving.

A vindictive person cannot attain quality. To attain quality, there should exist a forgiving, self-sacrificing nobility that would face up to all sorts of sacrifice for the beloved ones.

Anger only brings harm, jealousy only causes damage. Forgiveness and love would win us friends.

God orders Muslims to forgive, to persevere and create a serene environment under all conditions.

There should be no pride involved in love, since if there is pride, love ends. Pride and lack of forgiveness are the poisons of love. People thus fail in managing love. However, forgiveness, bringing your pride under control, putting your pride aside, this clears the way for love to the fullest extent.

People believe in God's forgiveness but they do not want to be forgiving; that is not acceptable. Just like a person knows that God would forgive him, he has to know to be forgiving as well.

Forgiveness is a characteristic God appreciates greatly. That is because revenge might give a lowly pleasure to one's soul, but forgiving is hard; I mean it [forgiveness] necessitates will-power and wisdom. That is because in forgiveness one does not achieve satisfaction, but revenge might bring satisfaction. That is why God takes forgiveness as a basis.

One cannot have a beautiful morality simply by saying, 'Let me have good morality.' Good morality can only be attained by fearing God, by loving God. Otherwise one would not be generous. He would feel pain inside when he gives something to someone. Forgiving would make him enraged. Without faith, without the fear of God, forgiving becomes very unnerving.

The best course of action is to be forgiving, to act as people of peace, to see goodness in everything. People are created as weak, they are not strong enough to deal with troubles. Feeling rage towards one, messing with another person, screaming at them, conspiring against another: All you have is a small, weak body. How can your weak body deal with all that pain, with all that filth? Be honest, sincere and immaculate.

What does forgiving mean? It serves love. Without forgiveness you become angry, you get cross, you reproach others and severe your connections with the concerned. When one severs connections with one person and then the other, what happens? He remains alone. This is the disaster cast upon the whole world. This time they start keeping dogs and cats at their homes as their sole companions. This is what happens without love, without heeding the Qur'an.

God says; "Make allowances for people, command what is right, and turn away from the ignorant." What happens when we make allowances for people? The obstacles before love is removed. Love unites. "… and turn away from the ignorant." Ignorance depresses people. Ignorance suffocates love. When you turn away from the ignorant you would be protecting love. "Command what is wrong." What happens when you command right? Love increases, love develops.
