Saying, “Oh Lord, what can I ever be? I cannot draw too close to you and I cannot love you very much,” would be blasphemy. God has opened the hearts of men infinitely to Himself. There is no limit to man’s power of drawing closer to God; one can get closer to God as much as he/she wants.

Muslims should say; “Oh my Lord, give me an infinite love and an endless closeness.” There is no end to love. That is because this is a place of trial; it is a place of racing. God refers to those who are the foremost in the race. What does “being foremost in the race” mean? It means being foremost in piety, it means being resolute, it means striving in the path of God and attaining the love of God.

Diamonds become precious when sculpted but as a rough gemstone they do not have the same impact. This is the same with humans; when they are finely trained, when they are finely educated they attain quality. It would not be right to be too lazy or to avoid making that effort.

God wants the final period to be like the time of the Companions of our Prophet (saas). God does not want a period of time in which women are oppressed, in which life lacks quality, arts, aesthetics and beauty.

One would never leave his beloved one. God is the real Beloved One. And even if 7000 years pass by, one would endure all sorts of ordeals. That is the characteristic of a lover. God would approve to see one enduring everything because of love for Him. That is completely a sign of love.

What is the characteristic of a lover? It is never deserting the loved one despite all sorts of sufferings and hardships. A lover would never leave his loved one even under the hardest conditions. God is showing us how much we are living with that spirit of a lover. That is because in the Hereafter, the existence and the manifestations of God will be the greatest pleasure we will be given.

It is completely different to cry out of fear of God, out of excitement. But if a person starts crying, saying, "Why did this happen like that?" that would be ascribing partners to God.

Most of the people are being brought up far removed from religion, removed from the love of God and the fear of God. Many of them are ruthless and cruel. It would be unacceptable to leave innocent, angelic children to the streets all by themselves.

Once a person gets used to shoddiness, it opens the doors for him to become dirtier, even shoddier, more vulgar and dull, then you find yourself asking: What is this? And they say “This is Islam.” They call a system in which violence, dirt, shoddiness and vulgarity reaches to highest levels Islam. That is a grave danger. That is national danger.

One should refrain from those who do not fear God, from those who do not act on faith, those who do not act with the Qur’an. That is because they have no fundamental law. You would never know what they are thinking. They could do anything. But a Muslim does have a fundamental law and abides by the laws of God.

Radicals cannot succeed in attaining quality and because they cannot attain quality, they try to put it out of sight.

The right wing, conservatism, should not promote a life lacking quality. There is a mass of people who speak a lot and misinterpret rightist ideology most unbecomingly; because the Middle East is under their control, this darkness, this impure appearance can be widely seen in many places.

One needs to look and admire the rich details in God's creating. Then the love one feels for God would increase even further. When love increases so does the fear of God. When fear of God increases, so does your submission to God. When your submission to God increases, it would be as if your nerves are taken. Your mind would be at ease and you would be very much relieved. You would feel a sense of relief, a sense of contentment and ease insha'Allah.

A person would not feel tired of God's artistry. One studies artistry with love. Cell is also God's work of art one should study with love just like one would study a flower, a cat, a beautiful child with love, just like one would love them.

Love means the love of God. God is the One we love with a profound love. And love is felt for the manifestations of God. All beauties belong to God. All praises are for God as well. God is the One we love.

In the Qur'an, God talks about the torments in Hell to scare those who are rebellious against Him.

Some people assume that what is meant by standing in awe during prayers is to loose one's self. In fact standing in awe is sincerity. It is a sincere connection with God, it is feeling love for God with an open conscience. That is what standing in awe means.

Quality is the most crucial characteristic of life. Quality is the most crucial aspect of beauty. Without quality there is no beauty. For instance, Heaven is quality in its entirety. Every corner of Heaven is high quality. When quality ends, beauty ends as well.

Alevis are very dear and they are very devout people. First of all their souls are very open to love and arts. Think how enthusiastic the love of God would be in a person whose soul is open to arts and love. Because they love God fervently, they feel love for arts and they are in love with the Prophet (saas), they are in love with Hazrat Ali (ra). Alevis are the ornaments of Turkey, they are the ornaments of this world, they are such radiant people.

A person who fails to see the artistry in women, who fails to see the manifestation of God's beauty in women, would be closed to arts anyway. Such a person loses all his artistic power. I mean which beauty can a person like that see? How could such a person perceive the beauty of a flower? How could he see the beauty of scenery? If one fails to see the beauty in women, then it is over, such a person has nothing.

If there is no love for women, there would not be arts either. I mean love for women forms the basis of the spirit of arts. That is a very crucial point. Women are the most beautiful beings of this world.

If in an environment, there is no place for the arts, if there is no love; if there is only pain and horror, if there is destitute, then there would neither be industry, nor wealth, nor joy in that environment. There will be nothing. No matter how much you help them. I mean it would be like giving blood to a corpse. Give a thousand liters if you like, that corpse would not be revived. Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh), Jesus Messiah (pbuh) and the Unity of Islam are the only way to bring life to that environment. There is no other way.

Man would be happy with arts. When one sees another dressed beautifully, he would feel happy; when one sees beautiful houses, he would feel happy. Be it in music, in paintings, in sculptures, people are in search of beauty; people search beauties which would cheer them up in everything. When one sees such things, he would feel happy.

Idolatry is a grave scourge. Idolatry, saying “Not God, but I did it,” “Not God but this one did it,” is what God detests the most. God says; “Know that I am the One Who does all of them so that I will increase the blessings on you. But if you say, “I did it,” then I will erase you from the face of this world and I will punish you.”

The great majority of people would have a tendency towards those who hold violence, who holds power in his hands. Consequently fort his election to be fair, the state should show its power in the South East region and remove fright and violence completely over the people. Or else it would be very difficult to make a fair election under the shadow of the weapons of PKK.
