One should refrain from those who do not fear God, from those who do not act on faith, those who do not act with the Qur’an. That is because they have no fundamental law. You would never know what they are thinking. They could do anything. But a Muslim does have a fundamental law and abides by the laws of God.

It is completely different to cry out of fear of God, out of excitement. But if a person starts crying, saying, "Why did this happen like that?" that would be ascribing partners to God.

If you submit to the Qur’an, if you love God and live love and passion, God would beautify you as well. What would happen to one if one lives in jealousy, hatred, rage and malice? The cells of the body would become cancerous. That person’s nose would get ugly, their mouth, hands, their whole body would become ugly.

What is the characteristic of a lover? It is never deserting the loved one despite all sorts of sufferings and hardships. A lover would never leave his loved one even under the hardest conditions. God is showing us how much we are living with that spirit of a lover. That is because in the Hereafter, the existence and the manifestations of God will be the greatest pleasure we will be given.

One would never leave his beloved one. God is the real Beloved One. And even if 7000 years pass by, one would endure all sorts of ordeals. That is the characteristic of a lover. God would approve to see one enduring everything because of love for Him. That is completely a sign of love.

Almighty God would of course test your love. See how devoted you are to Him; He will of course test that. And He will show that to you as well. You will see how much you love God. You will see how loyal you are.

Patience is for a life time. We will love God for all eternity. You will only be tested for 70 years the most. But God will let you live in happiness for all eternity. Seventy years of training, everything you show patience for will exalt you; make you more beautiful and radiant.

The best thing to do is to increase the consciousness of faith; talking about the facts leading to faith, talking about the miracles of the Qur'an, instilling love for God to the minds and souls of people.

Love means the love of God. God is the One we love with a profound love. And love is felt for the manifestations of God. All beauties belong to God. All praises are for God as well. God is the One we love.

Muslims should say; “Oh my Lord, give me an infinite love and an endless closeness.” There is no end to love. That is because this is a place of trial; it is a place of racing. God refers to those who are the foremost in the race. What does “being foremost in the race” mean? It means being foremost in piety, it means being resolute, it means striving in the path of God and attaining the love of God.

Saying, “Oh Lord, what can I ever be? I cannot draw too close to you and I cannot love you very much,” would be blasphemy. God has opened the hearts of men infinitely to Himself. There is no limit to man’s power of drawing closer to God; one can get closer to God as much as he/she wants.

If there is no art, no quality, then build as many bridges, as many roads as you like, and nothing would stick. Art, aesthetics, faith, joy, merriment, fear of God, love for God should be everywhere.

A person who fears God would become very wise and would be very meticulous about what is religiously lawful and what is not and all his attitudes would be very proper and balanced. When one doesn't fear God, may God forbid, that instantly reflects on his behaviors. He starts to say whatever comes to his mind and acts however he likes. When one fears God however, he would act very selectively, very meticulously and very beautifully. A Muslim would keep away from being egotistical and selfish.

If you completely abide by the Qur'an and love God as is due, if you submit your heart completely to God, if you turn into a man of love, if you burn with the love of God, God would bind and brace His manifestation on you; that manifestation would never leave you. God is the One Who takes that manifestation away from you. One might think that the manifestation leaves a person by them taking an individual decision but God is the One Who brings that blessing to you and He is the One Who takes that away from you.

Mahdi will know the art of making people believe in God and making them love God. How will that be possible? By telling them about the miracles of the Qur'an, about the facts leading to faith, about the miracles of our Prophet (saas), about the wonders behind matter. He will thus be instrumental in people's guidance towards the right path.

If you teach people persecution, they'd come up and apply persecution. You should teach people compassion, reason, methods of talking and persecution and scientific proofs. Above all else teach people love of God, fear of God.

One needs to look and admire the rich details in God's creating. Then the love one feels for God would increase even further. When love increases so does the fear of God. When fear of God increases, so does your submission to God. When your submission to God increases, it would be as if your nerves are taken. Your mind would be at ease and you would be very much relieved. You would feel a sense of relief, a sense of contentment and ease insha'Allah.

In the Qur'an, God talks about the torments in Hell to scare those who are rebellious against Him.

Fear of God is required for love; love of God is required. Love is not for the bone and flesh; the manifestations of God are loved. What would you love in someone if you simply think that person as someone who will die and be diminished? The Infinite One would be loved and that Infinite One is God and one can only feel love for another as a manifestation of God.

It is clearly understood that the year 2015 will be a year in which terror and pains will be experienced without love, without the fear of God, without mercy. These incidents will go on until God draws attention to the system of the Mahdi. This will go on until people see the system of the Mahdi as a means for salvation.

Solely saying "I love God" would not be enough, fear of God is very important. A person who has no fear of God would proud and arrogant. When one feels fear of God, a perfect morality would be formed. Such a person wouldn't be arrogant and egocentric, he would be loving and honest.

God would not give comfort to a nation who doesn't love Him. For those who love Him, God would give comfort. France should look for salvation in faith, in the love of God and in the fear of God.

Azerbaijan is very dear to us. We are two different states of one nation. It is like our Rize, like our Konya. But it has been separated from us for now. That is an artificial separation. We will put aside this separation. Our Minister of Foreign Affairs is striving intensely to this end but that would be vouchsafed to Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh).

Sincerity is of crucial importance. How important is it? It is the only way of salvation. God says; “The noblest among you in God’s Sight is the one with the most piety.” Almighty God defines being sincere as the main condition of piety.

What the CHP (Republican People's Party) should be doing is to stand up with a modern understanding of Islam and to loudly advocate the Islamic Union, to advocate the Turkish Islamic Union in line with the opinions of Ataturk and to advocate the facts of the Qur'an.
