A selfish person cannot be happy.

Selfishness is very humiliating. A selfish person would be repulsive. One who loves God lives for God and the ones he loves, and is never selfish.

Logic is what makes a person take egoistical decisions. Conscience is the system that crushes egocentrism as it always speaks what is right.

If people do not know the goal of their creation they start showing the characteristics of an animal. They become egoistical. For instance an animal gets the meat and hide in a corner to eat it alone and snarl at others when they approach. Under the influence of the Darwinist education they are given, people start imagining that egoism is acceptable as well . They distance one another and become merciless and egoistical.

An egoistic person could not experience love. Such people are emotional, prone to lying and are in war with themselves. Since they bring about scourges on themselves, it is not possible for them to know and experience love. A person who really loves God - one who is not egoistic- would have a superior morality. Loving such a person is a great blessing. To experience love both sides should submit to God and should be freed from egoism.

Hate culture is a disaster afflicting the world. Selfishness is hurting the world and many people consider cruelty as normal behavior.

A believer should fear and love God very much; should avoid being egoistic and selfish; should keep his mind alive by constantly thinking on facts leading to faith and the miracles of the Qur’an. Only then one could be level-headed and well-balanced all the time.

It is very nice to have the morality of a dervish. One doesn’t need to have broad financial means to avoid selfishness. One can be selfless and altruistic even with limited financial means. A person who is not lost in the transient pleasures of this world, who foregoes mundane goals would have zero egoism.

Selfishness is the worst possible character trait for a person. People should be selfless and caring. It’s difficult to love a selfish person.

Selfishness hurts, taints and ages the people who choose it. It also disturbs the mental stability.

Some people are selfish towards everyone; themselves, their families, their countries and they hurt everyone as a result. The Mahdi movement will eliminate egoism.

Egoism is embarrassing and humiliating. People should be selfless and altruistic, instead.

Egotistical, selfish people cannot live love.

Money should be used to make people happy. One shouldn’t want it for selfish purposes. Money will be helpful and fruitful only if used to make people happy.

Some people enigmatically harbor negative traits such as jealousy, hatred, egoism, gossiping.

Egocentrism has overwhelmed the world in its entirety. They do not even consider asking about a person's well being when they meet.

To attain quality there should be respect. One should refrain from egoism and should have a very fervent love of God in his soul to attain quality.

The human body tends to behave like an animal when left to its own devices; it will just want to eat and sleep, it will easily get scared and act selfishly. One should balance out that animalistic side by means of faith. One shouldn't allow oneself to act like an animal.

Anger, hatred, lack of love and compassion, selfishness, cruelty; these feelings blacken the eyes, blacken the words spoken. Once ensnared by such feelings, that person will lose the ability to talk sensibly. Observe carefully the language of those that refuse love. They just can’t make sensible sentences.

There should be nothing to be called national interests. We need to strive for everyone's interests. Even if we endure difficulties, we need to strive for the happiness of others. That is what suits such a noble nation, such a noble state. Self-seeking and egotism are beneath us.

When you love someone, you don't act curtly towards that person, you don't act stingy, you do not act egotistically; you look out for that person's comfort, you have that person's best interests at heart.

If you act rudely, you lose love. If you behave kindly, you gain love. If one is egotistical, he loses love; if he acts in a self-sacrificing manner, love will come back instantly and it will come back even stronger.

In order to be in love, one needs to have a morality like that of the Prophets. One needs to be committed to God and to live for God. One needs to retire from this world. Would an egoistical, selfish person be in love? Such a person would be wearing that cloak anyway. If one is egoistical and selfish, that means it is over for him.

Lack of love and egoism drags people into fragmentation. Love on the other hand brings about integration. Would anyone want to be separated from his loved one? One would only want to be separated from those he doesn’t love. One would not want to see those he hates. All these fragmentations in the world stem from a lack of love.

Egoism brings about separation. One would hold onto his possessions. This is the main characteristic of egoism. But if there is no egoism, there is generosity. Generosity does not accept borders. There should be no borders, so that one could put his generosity into practice and show his friendship and love easily.
