        When the Qur'an commands "do not go near to fornication" (Surat al-Isra, 32) this verse forbids sexual relations which are unlawful.

        How could a Muslim ever drink vine with one's eyes open? It would get stuck in his/her throat and he/she wouldn't be able to do it even if he/she wants to.  Adultery paralyzes a Muslim. He/she would feel his/her hands and feet tied, he/she wouldn't be able to cope with it. A Muslim wouldn't have the strength to commit a sin knowingly. His/her sight would be lost and he/she cannot bring his/herself to do it, insha'Allah.
