Heaven is very similar to this world but it is much more modern and high quality. The mansions in the Heaven are made of glass and they remain up in the air. When you say "come" to the food in the Heaven, they come by you. God creates millions of details for people to take pleasure. If people were to go to Heaven without learning about love, their hearts would be completely empty. We have to learn about love before going to Heaven. Those who have no love in their hearts would not take pleasure from the blessings of the Heaven. Adnan Oktar

God bestows bad-tempered, grumpy, snappish people whom everyone hates upon those people with darkened hearts. And He bestows loving, radiant people whose hearts are full of love and compassion to Muslims, to people with beautiful manners, to people who love others. We are in a very short course, it really is very short. We are being trained day and night and we are improving ourselves, we are taking the civility of the Heaven. The Heaven is an abode of joy and it is eternal happiness, eternal beauty. When you are sending your child to the Hereafter you are actually sending your child to an abode that everything is perfect, so mourning would be extremely wrong while doing so. A Muslim lives for the good pleasure of God and he dies for the good pleasure of God. If one does not live for the good pleasure of God, life would turn into a living hell for him/her. If one feels frantic with sorrow for a person who's gone to the Sight of God, who's gone to His Heaven; if one cries his eyes out grieving that means he doesn't appreciate what God created; that means he is rebellious against God, may God forbid. But if he thanks God for what He created, if he praises Him, if he welcomes this ultimate union, his meeting His Lord with joy, if he welcomes passing to Heaven; that is a characteristic of a Muslim. Quality is the most crucial characteristic of life. Quality is the most crucial aspect of beauty. Without quality there is no beauty. For instance, Heaven is quality in its entirety. Every corner of Heaven is high quality. When quality ends, beauty ends as well. Adnan Oktar

This world is not real, the Hereafter is because this world is a place of trial, it possesses the characteristics of both Heaven and Hell. But Muslims push aside those characteristics of Hell by using their wisdom. And because they thus bring forth the characteristics of Heaven, they appear as exquisite beings. Adnan Oktar

One says, “I have lived a very happy life, I have never faced any troubles all my life.” That is not a gain. First of all he won’t go to Heaven. In the Qur’an God says; “Or did you suppose that you would enter the Garden without facing the same as those who came before you?” (Surat Al-Baqara, 214) A Muslim should strive on the path of God, face difficulties and make an effort against unbelief, against the hypocrites. One doesn’t suffer in the path of God, he doesn’t suffer through ordeals or face any difficulty yet he says, “I am ready for Heaven.” You cannot go to Heaven. Do you know what you are? That means, may God forbid, you are a human being created in the form of a man with a beautiful appearance yet without soul. It is impossible for them to go to Heaven. These are created as a special intermediary form for this world. Adnan Oktar

Some people ask, “Why does God create pain?” There is beauty in the essence of pain that is why. Paradise cannot be attained without pain. There is no love without pain. A person would then be obtuse. One needs to go through all these ordeals and pains to gain that profundity. Adnan Oktar

Some people say, “What if God did not create pain?” Well then you would be obtuse. Let us say that you have gone by the river in Heaven; you would simply look at it with vain eyes. But if you have suffered through ordeals, you would kiss each and every single one of the pebble stones in Heaven numerous times. Almighty God gives people a lengthy life and makes them experience these ordeals because it is crucial. After that people people return to normal. Adnan Oktar

Limited things are hard on people. Why does God promise an endless life in Heaven? Being limited gives pain to people, that is why. Limitless, endless things are beautiful. There is a beginning for a Muslim but there is no end. Almighty God has no beginning and no ending. Adnan Oktar

A Muslim should never say, "I have performed my prayers, so I will be able to go to Heaven and that would be enough for me." A Muslim should want his rank to be high in Heaven. There are different ranks, Muslims are in a competition with each other. They should want to reach higher and higher. And there is no end to it; how nice this is. Adnan Oktar

A house eventually keeps you warm, prevents you from feeling cold. That is your prison; your prison in this world. If you look at things in the light of faith, your house would be like a house of Heaven. But if you look at things in the light of unbelief, your home would be like one of those cells in the Hell; it troubles you, the walls close in on you, it bothers you all around and makes you suffocate. Love is the goal of the Paradise. Let us imagine that one goes to Paradise. Let us assume that there are rivers, fruit trees, mansions; there are vineyards and gardens, there are people, but there is no love. What would such a place be? May God forbid, that would be Hell. It will be Paradise only with love. Adnan Oktar

It would be Hell when there is no love. God adorns Paradise as the abode of faith, He adorns Paradise with love. That is love for God, that is faith. Or else it is not the facilities in Paradise that make us happy but the existence of God. Adnan Oktar

God will manifest Himself to the people of Heaven whenever He likes. In an account it is stated that "He will manifest Himself on Fridays" but it is clearly understood from other accounts that He will frequently manifest Himself. And it is stated that this is the one blessing that Muslims would enjoy the most in the Heaven. Adnan Oktar

Children who die young will remain as the children of Heaven. They will run around and have fun, play games and laugh there. Adnan Oktar

Competition is something our Prophet (saas) sees as acceptable; it is something religion considers as acceptable. It is also seen in Heaven. Muslims will have fun racing each other. They will have motor races, boat races to have fun, or have footraces or horse races. Adnan Oktar

Some people are puzzled and ask, "How can there be motor racing in Heaven?" Or else, "How can there be cinemas?" Actually, all these blessings are presented to us here as examples anyway; they are given to us here for us to get to know them. Adnan Oktar

You will find everything that you like within your culture, within your knowledge; all that you fancy, all that you imagine in Heaven. For instance, some like car racing, some like boat races, some like swimming and some like painting. And they will all find their likings in Heaven. Adnan Oktar

There are no grumpy people in Heaven; no one acting harsh, no one being impertinent, no one being greedy. There is no anger, no fear, nothing of that sort in Heaven. Adnan Oktar

There are constant negatives and positives in this world. For instance, night and day, good and bad, beautiful smells and bad smells, good food and bad food, fear and trust; everything is created with its opposite. But that is not the case in Heaven. So everything will be one -sided and everything will be positive. Adnan Oktar

There is no patience in Heaven, there is no courage, there is no reason to be courageous. You cannot be patient, courageous, brave. There is nothing to resign one's self to. Purity, self-sacrifice, none of those exist in Heaven. It is the abode of fun. Of course there is being thankful and praising, there is seeing the Manifestations of God and loving. Adnan Oktar

For you to believe in love in Heaven you need to show self-sacrifice, bravery, patience, cleanliness and piety. A Muslim feels sure of himself because he shows that morality; he feels sure of being loved. Those who love him, love him in that respect anyway. Adnan Oktar

The world has no aspect to enjoy things. That is because Heaven is the place to enjoy. Why should people settle for the inadequate pleasures of this world? They carry a ton of wood on their shoulders and then say, "Let us go have fun." That ton of wood on their shoulders will be lifted in the Heaven. You can then have fun. There are various hardships all around this world. Adnan Oktar

God says that, "This world is not the place for play and idle sport. The Heaven is the place for play and idle sport. This world is a place for trial." That is why if you fasten yourself to this world, you would be stuck with it, says God. But if you aim for the Hereafter, if you aim My approval, I will make you happy for all eternity, you will have fun and laugh. Those who fasten themselves to this world would merely grovel, let me say that much. They would merely wallow and flounder. Nothing else would ever happen. Adnan Oktar
