Muslims should say; “Oh my Lord, give me an infinite love and an endless closeness.” There is no end to love. That is because this is a place of trial; it is a place of racing. God refers to those who are the foremost in the race. What does “being foremost in the race” mean? It means being foremost in piety, it means being resolute, it means striving in the path of God and attaining the love of God. Quote
Muslims should say; “Oh my Lord, give me an infinite love and an endless closeness.” There is no end to love. That is because this is a place of trial; it is a place of racing. If you are saying that you will perform your prayers, yet go and sit in a corner, even if you say “My Lord let me perform my prayers,” you would simply be sitting there doing nothing.
