The vast majority of the Turkish people are Ataturkist, intellectual people who have progressive thoughts, who like freedoms, who understand Islam as it was in the time of the Companions, people who advocate modern Islam. All our youth are modern. Consequently it would not be possible to enforce bigoted, fanatical understanding of Islam in Turkey.

They have invented a new religion from made-up hadiths and they are calling it Islam. In fact the religion Qur’an preaches us is called Islam. A religion that consists of made-up hadiths cannot be called Islam. That is a polytheistic religion.

Satan shouldn’t be allowed to deceive people by presenting salat and other religious services as difficult, Millions of people keep aloof from religion just because taking ablution and performing prayers are presented as if they are very difficult to do.

Islam means the most beautiful of everything. It means the highest quality; it means the rightest of everything. This is the meaning of Islam. Islam is the most perfect, most reasonable, rightest and the best of everything.

All Muslims should want to be like the Mahdi, like the Prophets: Muslims would never put a limit to themselves. All Muslims should have an ambition to draw closest to God.

Islam is all about love, compassion and mercy. However the system of the Mahdi would not come into existence without the system of the antichrist (dajjal). Cruelty will come first, then compassion will follow; cold-heartedness will come first, then compassion will follow; first there will be lack of love, then love will come. Almighty God creates all these for people in order for them to appreciate these blessings.

It might appear that one could mix unbelief with Islam, but the fact is that they do not go together. When unbelief is mixed with anything else it creates a poison; it brings about inauspiciousness. God would quietly make such people collapse physically and spiritually.

Unbelievers might sometimes say that - May God forbid- “Muslims are acting in a gullible fashion”. Actually they [Muslims] are the wise ones; they are the ones doing the most reasonable. With faith auspiciousness comes to their lives, they become more beautiful inside and out. Even their organs rejoice in faith; people rejoice in faith inside and out. Their eyes, their gaze becomes meaningful; their expressions become meaningful; their mind, their foresight is opened with faith, their speech becomes beautiful.

An understanding of Islam full of love and affection, one that advocates freedom should be adopted against radicalism. Only then the world could be at ease.

There is nothing good in disbelief. There is only perversion, filth, disloyalty, treachery, improper speech and intolerance in disbelief. You talk to a person and in two hours you see that he is acting treacherously. There is a sense of stability in Muslims. They are steady and reliable now and will be steady and reliable in two hours, in ten days, in a year, in twenty years, all for the good pleasure of God.

There is no reliability and soundness in disbelief. You talk to a man and then you see him go and do something atrocious. They act in perversion and do something stupid. They want to approach you only insofar as they see you may serve their interest. When they have no personal gain in being with you, they refrain from coming near you. Actually in Islam, there is the concept of one being a servant of God without asking for any personal gain. Muslims live by that and thus attain constant reliability and decency.

A Muslim should improve themselves to such an extent that others would never say, “This one will do something treacherous.” I mean he should not give anyone reason to say, “He will do something treacherous somehow!” He should give such a reassurance; only then he can be a real Muslim. One should say, “It is impossible for him to do something treacherous!”

One should not emulate unbelief. There is no peace, no loyalty, no real friendship in the system of unbelief. The unbelievers would bring ruin or harm to you the minute they see a conflict of their interest, they would give you up the minute their interests end. You would then be living in a bitter world in which disloyalty runs rampant. The unbelievers could even act treacherous to you right when they wake up. You wouldn’t have a guarantee for two hours of peace. With unbelievers you might face a completely different personality in two hours.

Unbelievers are only your friends when they have an interest in being so. They turn into your enemies when their interest in you ends but that is not the case in Islam. In Islam there is patience, there is compassion.

Real Islam is the Islam the system of the Mahdi preaches.

Once a person gets used to shoddiness, it opens the doors for him to become dirtier, even shoddier, more vulgar and dull, then you find yourself asking: What is this? And they say “This is Islam.” They call a system in which violence, dirt, shoddiness and vulgarity reaches to highest levels Islam. That is a grave danger. That is national danger.

There is a rage in the hearts of some people towards people of faith. For instance, they behave perfectly respectful towards a profane person and speak in a very appraising fashion with them. But when they come across a Muslim they feel a strange, evil rage; that is an evil instinct one should seek refuge in God. But of course that is something in favor of a Muslim. It enables Muslims to attain good deeds every minute, every hour without doing anything.

Some people can act very audaciously towards Muslims. Actually Muslims are the ones who should be respected and loved. One can only feel a measure of compassion towards profane people with the aim of saving them.

Muslims should look for power and honor in Truth. Actually Muslims are the ones one should look with honor. They should show respect and reverence towards them, not towards those in disbelief.

The person with the highest quality in the world is called a Muslim. The classiest, the best thinking person with the most beautiful morality is called a Muslim.

It is not right to pick a side among Muslims. There should only be alliance, unity, brotherhood in between Muslims. Anything on the contrary would be religiously unlawful.

Returning to the times of Ottomans is never a possibility. I mean there is no policy to be called neo-Ottomans. There is only the policy of the system of the Mahdi. The system of the Mahdi is what we call the unity of the Islamic world. And the person to lead that unity is called the Mahdi. That will be made possible with the support of the Jesus Messiah.

One cannot become a Mahdi simply because he wants to become the Mahdi or by working hard for it. One is born to be the Mahdi (as) and God preordains in destiny who Mahdi (as) will be. Fame and making fuss wouldn’t ensure it, working hard wouldn’t ensure it. It is all about the heart. The system of the Mahdi is all about profound faith.

When we love a person we love him/her for the good pleasure of God. What does the good pleasure of God mean? It stems from the services rendered for Islam. Does he/she unite Muslims? Does he/she ensure unity? Does he/she work to quell dissension? Does he/she develop an attitude against division? If we see all these in a person, we should love that person for the good pleasure of God. We feel that love as a religious observation.

One wouldn’t become the Mahdi by striving for it. One wouldn’t become the Mahdi by propaganda. The Prophet Moses (pbuh) did not become a prophet by propaganda; he didn’t become a prophet by striving for it either. He became a prophet because of his morality, because of his patience in the face of hardships.
