Politicians should be ‘men and women of the people’; always praising God, happy, humble, loving and down-to-earth.

Hypocrite is never thankful and cannot appreciate beauty. He does not know how to show his gratitude to God and is an ingrate at all times.

Muslims always seek benevolence and win hearts. Hypocrite is not pleased with even objects and is always ungrateful and unappreciative.

Hypocrites are not thankful to God. They believe in their twisted minds that they deserve those blessings and do not believe that they come to them from God.

If you believe in God, it would be cruel not to wake up for the morning prayer. That is because you promise God and say that you love God, that you appreciate His blessings on you and that you are thankful to Him. But then you say, "I do not want to thank You!" How is that acceptable?

Some people imagine that having fun would draw the Wrath of God. Actually not being loved, being forgotten, ungratefulness and a lack of love draw the Wrath of God.

Thanking God is crucial. Every moment, God creates every detail. Love is another blessing created by God.

Ingratitude is the only reason behind God's giving that many troubles in this world. Without gratitude, there would be ingratitude. All these sufferings are the retaliation of that ingratitude. Ingratitude is so horrible. It is such a grave remorselessness.

Almighty God gives blessings in abundance but the lack of thanking Him for those blessings is really irritating. You are invited to a palace, there are amazing foods, desserts, yet you simply eat them and leave yelling and kicking the door with your foot on your way out. Neither a thank you, nor any admiration; that would of course draw scourges upon you.

People keep asking why do troubles find them? If you feel thankful, troubles would not follow you. But if you fail to do that, you would be deserving of those troubles. Muslims are of course tried, but would not be plagued.

Life is beautiful for Muslims. For unbelievers life is always distressful, painful and restricted. A Muslim is always thankful; even if he eats dry bread, he thanks God for it.

What does saying, "Oh my Lord, I thank You a lot," means? It means, "I do love You a lot and I am expressing my love to You." It means, "I am happy." What does saying I am happy, mean? It means I am happy because I love You.

Thanking God, saying “Alhamdulillah” is a way of showing love. "Oh Lord I do thank You," you say. What does thanking mean? If there is no love inside that, it loses its whole meaning. The meaning of it will be completed only if there is love in it.

“Thank” is a word of love. What does thanking God mean? It means my Lord, I do love You very much, I do love You madly. I extend my endless thanks to You. This is the meaning of hamd (thanks).

Even with a single remark in the grocery store such as ‘God created all these beautiful vegetables & fruits’, a Muslim could be doing a great service to Islam

When in comfort, they unite against God in wide masses and rebel against God almost worldwide. When they are crushed, they pray to God and beg. What is the need for that crushing? Do not do that, be wise, repent. Be thankful to God and say, “O Lord, You are Great, I do love You so much” and see that God would make blessings rain down on you. Why are you looking for trouble? Why do you go astray and run riot? Why do you crush yourself?

God wants to be loved with a profound love. God wants a deep, attentive rapport. For instance, God says, "Be thankful to me, render your thanks and invoke My Name frequently." The goal here is to establish a constant connection with Him. God loves to be loved but He loves to be loved greatly and that is Almighty God's due. That is because He is the Owner of everything, He is the Owner of all beauties.

Those who claim that their hearts are in the right place yet do not thank God despite seeing the existence of God, are not being sincere.

A Muslim should hold on to God to death. He should accept being martyred, becoming a veteran, to be imprisoned, to be put into an asylum. He should be able to be thankful to God when those things happen. Then God opens his path to the utmost.

There is no patience in Heaven, there is no courage, there is no reason to be courageous. You cannot be patient, courageous, brave. There is nothing to resign one's self to. Purity, self-sacrifice, none of those exist in Heaven. It is the abode of fun. Of course there is being thankful and praising, there is seeing the Manifestations of God and loving.

There is a special system organizing poverty in the world. There are individuals leading that system and there are those who give orders to them as well. There are those who give orders to those who give orders. There are those who they cannot see giving orders. Poverty is specifically being organized and they cannot stop it. God says, "I bring about poverty when they fail to be thankful." What God says happens, people cannot stop it.

In the Qur’an, God reveals "Man is indeed wrongdoing, ungrateful.” Most people are ungrateful. They don’t thank God for His protection and might.

People must know that it is a very big loss and a grave offense to not remember God when they are given so many blessings all the time.

Blessings will increase if one is grateful. What does being grateful mean? It means abiding by the Qur'an, submitting to God and being pleased with what God gives. The man is not pleased with God and is constantly complaining. He believes – may God forbid - that God has treated him unjustly. How could there be blessings, if this is the case? Of course, such a person is not given blessings.
