There is a beginning and an end for everything. God has neither. Beginnings and endings are only for those who are created: Yet Alhamdulillah, because we are carrying the soul of God we will have a beginning but not an ending in Heaven.

The spirit of showing compassion to women would increase love for women as well. Some people only see women as sexual objects. They would then approach them in the spirit of hatred. Compassion and the spirit of mercy and protection would increase love in folds. Actually compassion is mentioned all the time in the Qur’an. I mean there is love mixed with mercy, a protective kind of love.

If one feels frantic with sorrow for a person who's gone to the Sight of God, who's gone to His Heaven; if one cries his eyes out grieving that means he doesn't appreciate what God created; that means he is rebellious against God, may God forbid. But if he thanks God for what He created, if he praises Him, if he welcomes this ultimate union, his meeting His Lord with joy, if he welcomes passing to Heaven; that is a characteristic of a Muslim. The other is the characteristic of idolaters.

A Muslim lives for the good pleasure of God and he dies for the good pleasure of God. If one does not live for the good pleasure of God, life would turn into a living hell for him/her. Everything should be for the good pleasure of God; only then life would be beautiful. Heaven would be beautiful with the good pleasure of God as well.

There is a made-up hadith they invented saying; “The world is hell for a Muslim.” Why should it be hell? With the light of faith the world would turn into a heaven on Earth.

The Heaven is an abode of joy and it is eternal happiness, eternal beauty. When you are sending your child to the Hereafter you are actually sending your child to an abode that everything is perfect, so mourning would be extremely wrong while doing so. It would mean to say; -may God forbid- “I didn’t like what God wanted, I know better”. And that would be ascribing partners to God.

A Muslim should see the beautiful things and also the ugly ones; yet he should prefer the beautiful things and look for the wisdom behind the ugliness. There is nothing ugly in the Heaven. Ugliness is only created in this world for testing. Everything and everyone is beautiful in the Heaven; trees, plants, people, children and all food.

We need to put our trusts in the mercy, compassion and Wisdom of God. That is because God is the One Who creates your mercy, your compassion and your logic.

One should look at everything with compassion, mercy and through the eyes of reason and he should be calming. We are being tested in this short life on this world. Some people might yield to their lower-selves. But one would not be abandoning religion when he does so, he would just be committing a sin and making a mistake that is all.

In the time of the Companions, the results were all taken with love and compassion. The love of our Prophet (saas) became famous and hundred thousands of people became Muslims in groups. They came to embrace faith not because violence was perpetrated, but because of love.

God knows what to do. Do not attempt to teach mercy to God, may God forbid. God is the One Who teaches you what mercy is. God is the One Who teaches you what compassion is. You wouldn't have known mercy or compassion if God hadn't taught you about those anyway. God teaches you all those and you attempt to make comments about God - may God forbid- with what God shows you. God is the One Who shows you everything, second by second.

We can have mercy in our name but we cannot have mercy in the name of those who have suffered. That wouldn't be an acceptable feeling of mercy.

Goodness and compassion is hard. Mercy and love is hard. But offending and destroying is very easy. One goes and takes a rifle in his hand and shoots at people. That is it. But loving demands effort, it demands patience. It requires will power, it requires generosity, it requires determination at the highest level, it requires perseverance at the highest level.

Granting an amnesty for murderers is the gravest danger for Turkey. That will be the sign for Turkey’s ruin. If one forgives those who martyred our soldiers and police officers, that person is the most debased, most characterless man in the world.

If you release the murderers, it would come to mean that it is okay to kill people. The push button for the Last Day would then be pressed. The Last Day will break loose.

Compassion, mercy, reason and love is what the Qur’an stands for. Terror prevails everywhere love does not.

Those who attempt to forgive murderers are the most debased, most ignominious, most honorless, most treacherous of the world. I cannot think of having less character on top of that. There will never be forgiveness for those men and for the traitors of the PKK. Those who want them forgiven are even more debased.

You forgive, you pardon and thus remove the block that stands in front of love. When you forgive you would be removing the wall in front of love.

God says; "Make allowances for people, command what is right, and turn away from the ignorant." What happens when we make allowances for people? The obstacles before love is removed. Love unites. "… and turn away from the ignorant." Ignorance depresses people. Ignorance suffocates love. When you turn away from the ignorant you would be protecting love. "Command what is wrong." What happens when you command right? Love increases, love develops.

That is the deep aspect of love, of passion; being forgiving, compassionate, protective, thinking deep, seeing beauties in detail, seing wisdom in detail and patience. Patience is very important.

A destructive attitude is unacceptable for a Muslim. God says, “” He says, “If you had been rough or hard of heart, they would have scattered from around you. “

If you want your words to be healing and instructive, you should be aware that the Qur’an has taken a lenient, gentle attitude as a basis. That means fair admonition, saying good words, approaching people with compassion; those are the commands of the Qur’an.

When you talk about Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh) you will be aware of the antichrist (dajjal); when you talk about the dajjal you will be aware of Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh). These two constitute a whole. I mean everything is created with its contrast; like day and night, or good and bad. If there is a dajjal, there absolutely is a Mahdi; if there is a Mahdi, there absolutely is a dajjal.

A Muslim would be aware of evil plottings but would not be distressed about them; that is because God is the One Who creates them as well, so a Muslim should keep his calm.

What kind of an attitude is mentioned in the verses of the Qur’an? One that doesn’t give way to any tension, rage, or any kind of disturbance in the heart; not giving way to such manners. Not feeling afraid or sad, not being uneasy. In short, the Qur’an mentions an attitude that avoids all sorts of attitudes that could psychologically disturb a person.
