If you protect the needy, what would they feel for you? They would love you. What would be the first feeling they would feel? Love. For instance, you give them a gift and they thank you. What is thanks? Their eyes sparkle. Why? Out of love. Love would be formed in their hearts towards you instantly. Our Prophet (saas) says "" What is the goal here? Love.

Look at the Qur'an as a whole; love prevails throughout the whole of the Qur'an. The Qur'an lays the ground for love. The Qur'an settles the foundation of love on a very steady ground with the fear of God, with the love of God and the threat of Hell.

You forgive, you pardon and thus remove the block that stands in front of love. When you forgive you would be removing the wall in front of love.

What does "salam" mean? It means love. " It means no harm will come to you from me." Then what does it mean? It means keep your heart at ease and in comfort, be happy. Look at the origin of all these words, all these expressions, there is love, deep in the origin of all these words.

God says; "Make allowances for people, command what is right, and turn away from the ignorant." What happens when we make allowances for people? The obstacles before love is removed. Love unites. "… and turn away from the ignorant." Ignorance depresses people. Ignorance suffocates love. When you turn away from the ignorant you would be protecting love. "Command what is wrong." What happens when you command right? Love increases, love develops.

The whole of the Qur'an is based on love. But if you directly present love, you would be entering a great beauty right from the center. That is why a way of explaining aimed directly on love, rationality and spirit is needed. Whichever verse you open and read you will see that they all aim for love.

Thanking God, saying “Alhamdulillah” is a way of showing love. "Oh Lord I do thank You," you say. What does thanking mean? If there is no love inside that, it loses its whole meaning. The meaning of it will be completed only if there is love in it.

“Rahman and Rahim." These Names are all about love. The whole aim of the Qur'an is love. The goal of the fear of God is love. Those who fear God pave the way for love. Those who fear God would easily love and be loved yet those who do not fear God would neither be easily loved nor love.

They imagine that preaching religion means talking and writing a lot. Instead of doing that, show your love for 15 minutes and it would be 15 million times more effective.

Radicals assume that talking in an all-knowing manner would disseminate Islam. Islam would never be disseminated in this manner. People would like to see your sincere love. They would want to see your clean-cut clothes, your cleanliness, your liveliness, your effort to beautify life. These things show Islam applied in practice. When they see them, they embrace Islam as you tell them.

Love is a crucial subject matter. We look into politics and only see hatred and rage. The goal of life is love; so why do they not prioritize love?

Our Prophet (saas) gave all his attention to love and he thus became very successful very influential. Our Prophet's power of influence came from his love. Prophet Joseph's, Prophet Solomon's and Prophet Abraham's power of influence came from their love as well.

Life turns into a nightmare if one remains aloof to religion, to Islam, to fear of God, to love of God. They do not say a single word about God. Just say "God" for once. Would they cause you any pain? Just say "God" for once - nothing would happen. They do not say it and the result is an inconceivable distress, an inconceivable tension. There is zero love. There is nothing in them to call love; love is extinct for them. They have no respect either; they have completely lost the feeling of respect.

Science is a method that demonstrates the existence of God. Actually this is the main task of science. Science proves and explains the artistry of God. In the Qur'an Almighty God says that; "only those who are firmly rooted in knowledge, and the Muslims, have faith." Firmly rooted in knowledge are those who fear God.

Crying is the general characteristic of idolaters. They misrepresent themselves as crying, blubbering people as if they are sentimental, compassionate and easily flappable. And thus their paths are opened for them. Actually, one only cries out of fear of God, out of love for God; but these ones cry as a ploy, to put on a show with their idolater spirit.

When one asks for love, he should first aim for the love of God. No love can be formed if there is no love for God or fear of God.

With the love of God, with the fear of God, everything would be nice. Everything and everyone ends up loving God wholeheartedly and having sincere faith.

Islam is deep faith, it is loving God a lot. Can you make people love God? No. Do you love God yourself? You don't seem to. Fearing God and loving God a lot; one needs to assure that. After that is ensured, there is nothing intricate about religion. There is no need for those know-it-all approaches, no need for such approaches that look down on people.

God is Ghaffur and All-Compassionate, All-Merciful. A Muslim, one who fears God would not go to Hell. One who fears God would behave as religion commands anyway. There would be no other possibility. These people are created as Muslims anyway.

If a person is faithful, by the leave of God, he has nothing to be afraid of. If he says, "I exist." If he says, "Who created me?" and if he has the power for fearing God, God would not burn those people of faith. Let me state that much to make it understood. What kind of creatures are the people of Hell? They cannot understand those things. People of Hell are dead inside.

All malice, all persecution, all murders are perpetrated by those who do not fear God. Communists, Darwinists, materialists, those who do not believe in God, those who would not fear God. They all emerge from among those who do not fear God. For instance, radicals behave viciously because they do not fear God.

There is no such thing as anyone who doesn't have a fear of God going and behaving immorally. But all the despicable people have emerged from among those who do not fear God. That is very important. One who fears God, would not behave like that anyway, such a thing is impossible. All the incidents of rape , all malice are perpetrated by those who do not fear God. That should be known.

What does saying, "Oh my Lord, I thank You a lot," means? It means, "I do love You a lot and I am expressing my love to You." It means, "I am happy." What does saying I am happy, mean? It means I am happy because I love You.

The blather of unbelief is so difficult that it is a trial in this world. It necessitates patience, that is for one. Secondly it necessitates attention. From which point that impertinent attitude is to be refuted should be investigated separately. These are not always from the same point of view, they all have to be proven with verses and then a rationale should be propounded.

Some people communicate religion but they say, "I am communicating religion yet they are making fun of me." What kind of a preacher are you? You do not know the first thing about the Qur'an? You hit your feet on the floor and it makes a sound right? When you communicate, they would of course make fun of you; this is the law, this is the law of God. If you are preaching religion they will of course make fun of you. Why are you surprised about it?
