A hateful character is very common amongst young people. They hate Russia, Israel, Greece, Iran; they hate rival political parties, rival football clubs, they even hate the cities they don't live in. They harbor incredible amounts of hatred in them. Such societies naturally become easy targets: That’s why it is crucial to end this hateful character. It should be a top priority.

When they decide to tear down a country, they first turn its people into loveless, crude, brutal, vindictive crowds that have no inclination towards art or anything that is beautiful. Such people can no longer love anyone, any group, or any other country for that matter. After this first stage is completed, it becomes easier for them to bring down that nation.

It is important to approach Muslims with compassion, no matter what. Because if you choose to get angry with them instead, you’d have to cut ties with almost ninety per cent of them. For instance, you call ISIS terrorists, and while we are vehemently against their ways, most Muslims in Afghanistan, Pakistan and India share the same views as ISIS: It is because they were raised that way. That is why we should try to save them, approach them with compassion, instead of severing ties with them.

In Islam, it is wrong to be averse to Jews. Surely, one can feel resentment towards those individuals who have committed sins or those who have oppressed people. In that case, those individuals should be held accountable through the legal system. But blaming the entire Israeli people, that is forbidden. It is not Islamic.

Anger, hatred, lack of love and compassion, selfishness, cruelty; these feelings blacken the eyes, blacken the words spoken. Once ensnared by such feelings, that person will lose the ability to talk sensibly. Observe carefully the language of those that refuse love. They just can’t make sensible sentences.

The shadow state apparatus has a plan to encourage traditional, orthodox Islam, and thus make Islam look aggressive and psychopathic, and to set Muslim against Muslim. This is a grave danger.

Those who say that life must be miserable and wretched with no art or joy are ruining the Islamic world. We will not allow them to ruin Turkey in that way. Why should we not have music, or dance? You must come to your senses. What is there about these things that is incompatible with the faith? What verses of the Qur’an are these acts disobey? What harm do they do anyone? Where do you get these ideas from?

Of course we can have music and dancing and fun. You must not add artificial prohibitions to the faith. And then Islam will rule the world.

The traditionalist orthodox system imagines that the more they exert pressure in the name of God, the more they move closer to God: Actually, in such an environment, not only do people not get closer to God but they drift further apart from God and religion and they also lose their mental stability.

Modernity, before all else, brings about sanity. In a bigoted system, the human mind cannot operate normally. In a bigoted environment people become half-insane. Look around and you will see that many of them are mentally unstable. In modern societies, the human mind operates sanely and rationally.

If you give fanaticism an inch, it takes a mile. It is very dangerous. The state must adopt a determined policy to spread modern thinking, a modern state structure and a modern conception of art. In other words, one must live by a modern Islam. What does modern mean? Like in the time of the Companions.

If you are hateful towards Israel, reject anything that is modern, live in filthy houses, if you are loveless and hateful towards Russians, Greeks, Iranians, Shias, Alawites, Wahhabis, if you keep dropping innuendos about everyone; then you would be falling in the clutches of satan. Don't you see the atrocious position you are in? These are all very wrong. Love is the only thing a Muslim knows, so you need to be full of love.

Had some bigots been given free reign, neither listening to music, nor sculptures, nor paintings, or freedom for ladies putting on make-up and going out would be left. These people are quite bloodthirsty. That is why Turkey should swiftly go towards a modern, religious line.

In bigotry, homes lack quality, their cars lack quality, their streets lack quality. An incomprehensible degeneracy pervades around them. The quality of the clothes goes bad, the quality of paintings, food and everything goes bad and becomes blunt. Bigotry advocates this bluntness, this crassness and this lack of quality and that is a grave danger. We need to be very cautious against that.

Love is in the spirit of people. Hatred, rage and quarrelsomeness are horrible feelings; they would ruin one, be the end of one. One would become sick, may God forbid. One's heart cannot bear it, one becomes distressed and strained. A lack of love is a poison for the body. The body would be refreshed with love.

Love is the meaning of life. Hatred is far more difficult and it destroys one spiritually and physically. It destroys society, brings down social life and the economy. Hatred is dreadful.

The traditionalist Orthodox Islamic conception removes people’s vitality and paralyzes their minds. Societies that suffer constant oppression emerge as a result of this.

One of the evil methods employed in the plan to devastate the Middle East is to eliminate the power of the mind by corrupting human nature and benumbing the mind through the traditionalist Orthodox Islamic conception. The minds of people are being ruined, are decaying, so to speak; the souls, the minds of people are decaying and you witness the misery and desolation this leads to.

They aim for a benumbed, insentient youth instead of an energetic, vigorous one. Through the traditionalist Orthodox Islamic mentality, they want people’s brains and souls to decay; they are corrupting their nature and trying to turn them into misogynists. They are destroying the [idea of] feminine beauty. And this is how they sneakily devastated the Middle East. People should not fall in to this trap.

Lovelessness leads to malice. Lovelessness makes females and males unlovely. Vindictiveness, hatefulness and resentment give way to a lifeless appearance. The individual suffers the effects of this affliction personally, leading to his own ruin. In other words it is a self-destructive system.

People’s hearts should be cleansed with love, faith in God and education so that hate culture on social media can come to an end.

Hate culture is the collective problem of the world. No one can be happy with this loveless attitude. Some people keep themselves in a loveless, dark world. They need to get rid of that darkness in their hearts.

Hate culture, narrow-mindedness are serious problems. Young people who will be the leaders of future should have broad scopes.

Only the supporters of satan would feel anger towards believers. Real believers truly love other believers.

Even the prettiest, the most beautiful person will decay under the ground [when they are dead]. Life is very short: We thank God for what He gave to us but it would be wrong to get attached to this body. Think about a very beautiful lady: Open her grave years later and you will see only a skeleton; a skull, arms and legs. Or think about all those heroes, the lions of the past: Even their bones are gone now.
