In the beginning of the verses of the Qur'an, God's Names Rahman and Rahim are recited. "Bismillahirrahmanirrahim". Rahman and Rahim, God; meaning God, the One Who knows and shows love very well and the One Who wants love from us. "Rahman" because He is the Protective, He is the One Who watches over, He is the One Who forgives, He is the One Who wants good for people.

Love is a very engrossing, a very amazing feeling. It is not like eating or drinking. It is the most pleasing blessing. If one asks, "Would you prefer eating or love?" It is love. If one asks, " Would you like us to give you a yacht or love?" The answer is love. What good would come out of a yacht? It is just a huge wooden thing. Think about going aboard in the middle of the sea? What would you do if there is no love? What good would that do? Or else let us imagine that you are given a castle but there is no love in it; that castle would turn into a giant prison. It would do no good.

What does forgiving mean? It serves love. Without forgiveness you become angry, you get cross, you reproach others and severe your connections with the concerned. When one severs connections with one person and then the other, what happens? He remains alone. This is the disaster cast upon the whole world. This time they start keeping dogs and cats at their homes as their sole companions. This is what happens without love, without heeding the Qur'an.

Almighty God always aims for sincere, exalted faith. When Almighty God sees sincere, lofty faith in the world, He increases the abundance on this world: When there is weakness in faith, God reduces that abundance on the world. That is why pure and sincere Muslims should continue this spiritual reinforcement with all their might.

“Sincerity” is a Word closely connected with the Qur'an. We could not know what sincerity is if we do not know the Qur'an. Sincerity means a person's not applying any pressure on his brain and thinking on the side of God in everything; it means his never expostulating on God- may God forbid, his never being troubled by God or never rebelling against God- may God forbid.

A great many people rebel against God or expostulate on God. They expostulate, saying, "He doesn't help me, He has taken my son away from me, He has taken my car away from me, He has taken my possessions from me." Who is the One Who gives you your child? God is. Who is the One Who takes him away from you? God is. I mean the expostulation here is very irrational; it is an act far removed from sincerity. God doesn't like such conduct.

The whole of the Qur'an is based on love. But if you directly present love, you would be entering a great beauty right from the center. That is why a way of explaining aimed directly on love, rationality and spirit is needed. Whichever verse you open and read you will see that they all aim for love.

God says; "Make allowances for people, command what is right, and turn away from the ignorant." What happens when we make allowances for people? The obstacles before love is removed. Love unites. "… and turn away from the ignorant." Ignorance depresses people. Ignorance suffocates love. When you turn away from the ignorant you would be protecting love. "Command what is wrong." What happens when you command right? Love increases, love develops.

You forgive, you pardon and thus remove the block that stands in front of love. When you forgive you would be removing the wall in front of love.

If you protect the needy, what would they feel for you? They would love you. What would be the first feeling they would feel? Love. For instance, you give them a gift and they thank you. What is thanks? Their eyes sparkle. Why? Out of love. Love would be formed in their hearts towards you instantly. Our Prophet (saas) says "" What is the goal here? Love.

Fear of God constitutes the mainframe of love. You show patience because of fear of God, you show compassion, you become helpful and generous because of fear of God. All these form the mainframe of love.

Imitation, false love is most horrible; it is something God doesn't like at all. Hypocrite women and men, unbeliever women and men, cruel women and men are masters in this false, imitated love.

What is the sole intent of Almighty God? To love and to be loved. But to be loved how? To be loved sincerely and wholeheartedly not with false pretenses. That is why people always look for sincere love, why the whole world looks for sincere love.

God wants a solidified faith; that can only be attained with a sincere soul. It is not possible to attain that without sincere good conscience.

Sincerity costs one a lot. One would suffer through ordeals, get tired and even get into trouble. If you are living an easy life and show interest only in things that directly affect your interests, if you protect your own interests as if you are protecting a baby, where is sincerity in this?

There is no need to consume such an extraordinary amount of energy for attaining deep faith. If a person is very sincere, a deep faith would instantly be formed. They are imagining that religion is very difficult. They say, "You need to ponder deeply, you need to think deeply." Actually one cannot succeed at thinking deeply through mere willpower; God is the One Who will make one think deeply. A person does not have any individual power. What we need to do then is to be sincere. We have to be sincere and ask for it from God.

Patience is an act of worship. Waiting as a form of worship is called patience. In toleration, one simply endures. Patience is the name of that act of worship. I mean like prayers, it is the name the act of worship.

Information does not flow to the brain out of the blue. The brain should be disciplined; it should be educated. It is not possible to do by sitting back, one needs to work for it. Thinking is an act of worship, just like prayers.

We relish in worshiping God and performing prayer. How nice that prayer is a beauty that has been performed for thousands of years.

There is inherent peace and wisdom in acts of worship. If one gets tired while reading the Qur’an, taking ablution, paying charity and so on, satan must be troubling him. God created all acts of worship in such a way that they are both easy and pleasing to humans.

In the Qur'an, special attention is directed to "armour". It is a religious obligation to take precautions in order for Muslims to protect themselves.

Muslims aim to save morally collapsed, hateful and spiritually stricken people. The struggle for their salvation is a religious duty. While preaching Islam, Muslims give priority to people who don't know about Islam and who are under the influence of satan.

Anyone who is lenient and talks graciously earns merits. Believers earn merits for state administration for they also do it as an act of worship.

In many verses of the Qur’an, God mentions the existence of various realms. "Say: ´My prayer and my rites, my living and my dying, are for God alone, the Lord of all the worlds.” Qur'an, 1:162

Making mention of the blessings of God is crucial. One would become egoistical and abnormal when he forgets to do that, his heart would not be in anything he does: May God forbid. That is why God tells us to invoke His Name. Invoking the Name of God would bring relief and beauty to one's heart.
