The more hardships suffered, the more the good deeds acquired would be. The difficulties Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh) encounters are countless. Every single hardship encountered is a step ahead. For instance, think about a 1,000 kilometer-long ladder, 1,000 kilometers of ascending steps; one climbs up incessantly and the spiritual ranks he attains elevate incessantly.

Eat, drink and travel; anyone can do that. There will be hardships, there will be illnesses, there will be difficulties, there will be troubles and scourges and you will love God deeply just the same against all odds. That is what Almighty God loves the most.

What one would be doing in his lifetime is already defined in his destiny. What will happen is already preordained in destiny but he worries nevertheless, yet God has created everything in the best way possible. What is the sense of this worry? I mean there is no logic behind it and there is no rational explanation for that worry. That is because everything has already happened anyway. You are worrying in vain. Almighty God has created the best in everything.

God has given very nice secrets that would keep one's mind sane. Before all else, one's commitment to God would keep away all immorality, all abnormality. Putting one's trust in God would take away the torment one does to himself. When he becomes patient, he would become friends with everyone around. When one is loyal, he would attain a personality everyone would love. When one criticizes himself, he keeps his sanity intact. When one is criticized by others, he becomes a rational, stable and loveable person.

Some people never accept patience and ordeals, yet ask directly for blessings. That is unacceptable. You can neither attain Heaven like that nor attain the good pleasure of God. This is a place of trial not a place of fun. Almighty God says, "If We had desired to have some amusement, We would have derived it from Our Presence, but We did not do that." Heaven is the place of amusement, there is no such thing in this world.

When one is on the path of God, God gives him richness, abundance and beauty. But also accept the sufferings on that path, not only the blessings. It is not acceptable otherwise. You should accept the patience; accept the ordeals. Then God would rain down His blessings upon you.

One says ,"When I make a mistake, my good conscience disturbs me, it makes me unable to breath." That stems from letting Satan suffocate you. Why is there the need for that, my brother? You simply put your trust in God and that is it, you repent to God. What does repentance mean? You hope God will accept your repentance. Then, what does being suffocated mean? That would mean that you do not trust God. If you've made a mistake, you've made the mistake in your destiny. Did you decide to never to do it again? You did. If you are determined about this, that takes care of it.

Even if something goes seemingly wrong, a Muslim should know that there is good in that. Some say, "Something went wrong." If you put your trust completely in God, whatever happens would be for the good.

Being patient and trusting in God are two important characteristics that God loves and likes. What does trusting in God mean? It means a Muslim will be faced with great incidents yet he will always put his trust in God and be patient. He will not worry, he will not be sad, he will not be afraid.

Sincerity costs one a lot. One would suffer through ordeals, get tired and even get into trouble. If you are living an easy life and show interest only in things that directly affect your interests, if you protect your own interests as if you are protecting a baby, where is sincerity in this?

The more our Prophet (pbuh) suffered ordeals, the more beautiful he became. Suffering turned the Prophet Joseph (pbuh) into the most beautiful person in the world; he led a life full of anguish yet he was exceptionally beautiful. The Prophet Moses (pbuh) suffered throughout his life but he was incredibly handsome, the most handsome man of his tribe.

Suffering is a necessity for achieving the love of God. Satan must exist in order for suffering to exist. And satan usually engages hypocrites and disbelievers for its deeds.

Muslims are at ease, they are at ease everywhere because they submit themselves to God and put their trust in God; they will be very much at ease when they are resurrected in the Hereafter. For instance, Muslims watch the Last Day in joy.

God says, "Do not worry; just submit and put your trust in Me. Leave it with me. You will be very comfortable even while dying. But if you worry, if you do not submit yourself to Me, you will be hurt."

God creates a beautiful world when one puts his trust in God. One should be honest and sincere towards God, in submission to God. When one is not honest, God starts causing pain for that person.

If you are losing something there is good in that. You haven't come to this world to live forever. You lose the smallest things and then obsess about it. What if you lose it? You are exaggerating it; actually there is nothing wrong in it if you look at things rationally.

What is the advantage of a lack of trust in God? One would only be suffering and humiliating himself in vain. He would be embarrassed before God. He would be hurting himself and doing something abnormal that is not compliant with reason or logic.

We see that some civil servants are timid and do not put their trust in God in standing against the PKK. That is unbecoming. Our Prophet (saas) appeared with a handful of people, with 40 people. A Muslim should be brave and fearless.

People far removed from God can never be happy. People who do not resign themselves to God can never find abundance and relief.

The palaces, the rivers, the fruits of Heaven; none of them would have a meaning if it weren't for love, for passion. And to achieve true love, we have to go through training, through suffering.

When a believer thoroughly masters love, God takes them into His heaven. Love does not occur out of nowhere; love develops through suffering, agony and training.

This world would never be without pain or suffering. Pain is in the origin of love. Life has no meaning without love anyway. There has to be pain, people have to go through ordeals.

Some people say, “What if God did not create pain?” Well then you would be obtuse. Let us say that you have gone by the river in Heaven; you would simply look at it with vain eyes. But if you have suffered through ordeals, you would kiss each and every single one of the pebble stones in Heaven numerous times. Almighty God gives people a lengthy life and makes them experience these ordeals because it is crucial. After that people people return to normal.

Some people ask, “Why does God create pain?” There is beauty in the essence of pain that is why. Paradise cannot be attained without pain. There is no love without pain. A person would then be obtuse. One needs to go through all these ordeals and pains to gain that profundity.

The partitioning of Turkey has no place in destiny. Had that compass turned over Turkey, Turkey would have been separated and no one could have stopped it from happening by the leave of God. But there is no such thing. Consequently the PKK is tumbling and rolling over in vain. Their ruin is in their destiny. They will be ruined, the PKK will be destroyed.
