Almighty God gives blessings in abundance but the lack of thanking Him for those blessings is really irritating. You are invited to a palace, there are amazing foods, desserts, yet you simply eat them and leave yelling and kicking the door with your foot on your way out. Neither a thank you, nor any admiration; that would of course draw scourges upon you.

People keep asking why do troubles find them? If you feel thankful, troubles would not follow you. But if you fail to do that, you would be deserving of those troubles. Muslims are of course tried, but would not be plagued.

Faith is the sincere belief in one's subconscious. Or else one's mind might come and go. I mean all kinds of opinions might pass through one's mind. For instance, one might think if something is right or wrong; these are ideas inside one's brain. Ideas would be like a storm in one’s mind. They have nothing to do with faith. They are called the whisperings of satan. Faith is something settled in, I mean a sincere conviction that is intertwined with, one's consciousness, one’s good conscience.

Life is beautiful for Muslims. For unbelievers life is always distressful, painful and restricted. A Muslim is always thankful; even if he eats dry bread, he thanks God for it.

Some people imagine that having fun would draw the Wrath of God. Actually not being loved, being forgotten, ungratefulness and a lack of love draw the Wrath of God.

Those who only use their logic would always grovel. But in the beginning, they appear as if they will be wining. Those who go by their conscience might appear to be losing in the beginning, but they will always win eventually.

Some people go by their logic instead of their good conscience. They say, 'I listen to the voice of my logic.' My brother, you would grovel if you do that. Logic might appear as if it will save people in the first sight. One might think that following logic will always give way to things that will be in his favor, that will always be at their sweet will, and that will serve their interests. Actually logic would constantly drag people into troubles.

In the Qur'an God says, ' , in spite of their own certainty about them.' They resisted their good conscience. Otherwise their good conscience demands the right choice and tells them to "do". But they crush it. That is why their faces are darkened. Or else when people do not resist their good conscience, when they listen to the stirrings of their conscience, their faces will be radiant.

Going by one's good conscience is difficult, but the fruit of it is beautiful. Logic, on the other hand, is easy to follow but its fruit is bitter.

The first affliction that comes upon a person when he does not act by his good conscience is the loss of his mind. Such a person would lose his mind. Would he be aware of his situation? No, he won't be aware: That is because he would be left to his intelligence alone, so he cannot understand his situation. His mind would be lost and he would be left to his intelligence alone. God generally does not take away one's intelligence, but He takes away his mind. Except for some rare occasions, God does not take away one's intelligence. However when God takes away one's mind, his intelligence would no longer have any use for him. His intelligence would only get him into troubles from then on. Intelligence would make him grovel.

Watch the world carefully; you will see that 99% of the world acts by their logic. And all of them suffer. Show me one man who acts with his logic and who does not suffer in misery. They are all groveling. They live in incomprehensible pain. Sincere people who act with their good conscience on the other hand live a very beautiful life. Well, yes they do suffer through ordeals and face difficulties as well, but eventually God gives them relief.

The Prophet Joseph (pbuh) is an honest person through and through. He did not act with his instincts but with his good conscience. Where did his good conscience take him? To prison. He placed his trust in God and what happened eventually? Almighty God made him the Sultan of Egypt. He ate the most beautiful food, wore the most beautiful clothes and is given the most beautiful ranks in Heaven.

If you believe in God, it would be cruel not to wake up for the morning prayer. That is because you promise God and say that you love God, that you appreciate His blessings on you and that you are thankful to Him. But then you say, "I do not want to thank You!" How is that acceptable?

What does saying, "Oh my Lord, I thank You a lot," means? It means, "I do love You a lot and I am expressing my love to You." It means, "I am happy." What does saying I am happy, mean? It means I am happy because I love You.

Thanking God, saying “Alhamdulillah” is a way of showing love. "Oh Lord I do thank You," you say. What does thanking mean? If there is no love inside that, it loses its whole meaning. The meaning of it will be completed only if there is love in it.

God says, "Man is indeed wrongdoing and ignorant." God says that people are ungrateful. One needs to seek refuge in God from being ungrateful. One needs to seek refuge in God from being wrongdoing and ignorant.

God dislikes ingratitude. If one attempts to deceive God or is in admiration of unbelievers, God would make that person fall into trouble.

Hypocrites and satan have the same personality. Both the hypocrite and satan are ungrateful to God.

God is an eternally beautiful being. He is the One Who must be loved the most and cherished the most. Majority of people are very ungrateful. It is surprising how they have become so ungrateful. It is an unscrupulous misconduct that people do no appreciate God.

People's cruelty and ungratefulness is something God dislikes. Ungratefulness is an awful immorality. We always have to remember God’s blessings. Muslims need to remember the blessings God grants them and have profound love for God.

In the Qur’an, God reveals "Man is indeed wrongdoing, ungrateful.” Most people are ungrateful. They don’t thank God for His protection and might.

God has infinite patience and compassion. He continues to grant His blessings on people despite the ingratitude of many.

Most people are ungrateful to God. But God does not give up helping or saving that person. Believers must adopt God’s moral values.

You would appear as a mad person when you boast, when you become haughty. That would be very repellent and you wouldn't be loved. When you boast, when you act haughtily you make yourself unlovable. Why do you boast? Why do you act haughtily? You do so, to make people love you, right? Actually it has the exact opposite effect and you lose all the love you have.
