If one feels frantic with sorrow for a person who's gone to the Sight of God, who's gone to His Heaven; if one cries his eyes out grieving that means he doesn't appreciate what God created; that means he is rebellious against God, may God forbid. But if he thanks God for what He created, if he praises Him, if he welcomes this ultimate union, his meeting His Lord with joy, if he welcomes passing to Heaven; that is a characteristic of a Muslim. The other is the characteristic of idolaters.

Mourning is only acceptable in the sense of respect, in the sense of showing courtesy, concentrating on the topic, being interested and concerned with it. It is not in the sense of being frantic with sorrow, crying, wallowing, freaking out, and feeling pain. Those would all be ascribing partners to God.

Mourning is the name we give to a respectful attitude towards those we’ve lost. Mourning doesn’t mean being frantic with sorrow.

People die every day. We are living in the world, this is a place of testing. People get sick every day. How do they come up with the idea of mourning? There is no such thing in the Qur'an. There is no such understanding in Islam. It only has a place in idolatry, in the totemist mentality, in the belief system of the idolaters. This is a characteristic of pagan religions, but there is no such thing in Islam.

The mentality that urges one to cry after everything is abnormal. This is a remnant system from the idolaters of Mecca, from the idolaters of Sumeria, from way back. That is outright insincerity. This is an act which shows that one does not have trust in God- may God forbid. One would only cry if he thinks –may God forbid- that God is not the One Who creates that event.

There is no spirit of mourning in Islam. That is idolatry. It is rebellion against God, it is unlawful, it is a sin. Consequently, talking about something that actually means idolatry as if it is a religious act would be wrong.

The mentality of mourning is fundamentally wrong. A Muslim would never do that. God is the One Who brings us to this world, and God is the One Who takes us back to His Sight. The right thing to do is to submit to our destiny and to put our trust in the goodness, beauty and abundance of what God gives. Anything other than that would not befit a Muslim.

The Heaven is an abode of joy and it is eternal happiness, eternal beauty. When you are sending your child to the Hereafter you are actually sending your child to an abode that everything is perfect, so mourning would be extremely wrong while doing so. It would mean to say; -may God forbid- “I didn’t like what God wanted, I know better”. And that would be ascribing partners to God.

This is the way of the world. Of course, there will be people passing away every single day but mourning would be ascribing partners to God, it is a custom of the idolaters. We will always live the joy of faith.

Nothing good comes out of mourning. Mourning is a very passive act; you simply cry and get sad or become low-spirited. Mourning is not the solution. Reconciling Israel and Palestine is a solution. Establishing connections with both parties is a solution. If you get angry with one party and avoid establishing connections with them you cannot maintain peace and security.

Martyrdom is something to rejoice in. It is an honor, a blessing; it is not something to mourn about. Only idolaters mourn about death. Only unbelievers cry for such things. In the Qur’an God says, “Let them laugh less and cry a lot.” And what do you say? You say, “Do not laugh!” God says that for idolaters. Muslims do laugh, and they only cry out of love for God.

Let us please put aside the habit of crying at the funerals of martyrs. It is not in compliance with the Qur'an, it is not in compliance with our customs; there is no such habit in the morality of Islam. That is a custom observed since the ancient Sumerians. It is not appropriate to cry after those who have gone to Heaven.

Mourning is a custom of idolatry, a custom that was in practice in ancient Sumeria, Mesopotamia, the Hittites, in ancient Greek, in ancient Egypt. In numerous hadiths, our prophet (saas) has prohibited mourning. It is against the Qur'an. It is rebellion –may God forbid- to the blessings of God. It is not an act that befits Muslims; the meaning behind it is atrocious. There is no mourning in Islam.

Instead of calling people to mourning, we should state openly that terrorists can not intimidate us, deprive us of our joy of life or demoralize us.

Mathematics and geometry are examples of the manifestations of God’s perfect art.

Students can easily learn mathematics with great pleasure if they can see it as the Art of God.

There is no meaning to life without religion, may God forbid. I live for religions, for God, we all do insha'Allah.

Religion is the other name for the Middle East. Religion is the spirit of the Middle East. Middle East wouldn't exist without religion. Life wouldn't exist without religion.

Islamophobia is formed because of radicalism. That is the doing of bigots. Without the system of the Mahdi, bigots would have erased Islam from the face of this world. The system of the Mahdi is the reason why Islam remained in this world. The system of the Mahdi is the reason why they fail to disintegrate Turkey. Or else, they were planning to raze Turkey to the ground.

Unity can clearly be attained with the spirit of the system of the Mahdi. Everyone says; "let us be in unity." But no one would ever take such wishes seriously. Racism, sectarianism, regionalism, even district based discrimination is widespread. Since our Prophet (saas) is very well aware of this trouble on his ummah, he specifically charges his Mahdi with that task.

There will be a whole different Turkey in three-five years. The world will be completely different. The vigorous and strong structure of the system of the Mahdi is progressing step by step Alhamdulillah.

God bestows a special radiance to those with good morality. Otherwise a facial expression like that of the Pharaoh or Nimrod would be appear in one's face. Submit yourself to God and become radiant.

Reaching the Treatise of Light somehow would expand the horizons of a person; it opens up one's world. That is why it would be very beneficial for every one of our brothers and sisters to have at least a piece of Treatise of Light at their homes. That is because the language used in the Treatise of Light is very sincere; it is the language of Islam.

Churches are the houses of God, synagogues are the houses of God and so are the mosques. Everyone can worship wherever they like. God rendered the whole world a place of worship for us.

May God close the foresight of those who wish to divide Turkey, may God take away the perception of those who wish to disintegrate Turkey. May God make all disasters envelop them. We would never let Turkey be divided in any way.
