Hypocrites tell Our Prophet (pbuh) and his companions, "If we knew how to fight, we would certainly follow you." Hypocrites intentionally make themselves appear as incompetent. Additionally, they do not want Muslims to carry out activities for the benefit of Islam. So, they also try to hinder Muslims in this regard.

Hypocrites are the reason that the Islamic world is in ruins. Hypocrite is a fearsome force. People are wrong in regarding the disbelievers as the primary concern. If we assume the strength of disbelievers to be 1 out of 1000, the power of hypocrites would be 999 out of 1000. Hypocrites pose the actual threat.

When hypocrites talk, they talk with malice. When they talk, they talk instigation or trouble, or bad luck, or a reason to argue, or something to mess with, or delusion, or a devilish urge. What about a believer? He always talks in a way that brings prosperity, tranquility, a way that removes instigation, a way that brings comfort to the heart.

The hypocrite never takes upon himself the Qur’anic verses about hypocrites; only a believer does that. A Muslim realizes that with terror and astonishment; he says to himself, what have I done? I have sunk deep into the signs of hypocrite, I have sunk deep into a swamp and I have to get away. He gives up completely; he ends it fundamentally in his heart because it is clear that he cannot live with it: Besides he had already seen how filthy it was.

Hypocrites temporarily take shelter. They are like a tuberculosis microbe; sometimes they are repressed, but they attack you when the body is weak.

Sometimes a hypocrite takes shelter; you have to be very careful with that. He temporarily hides himself. He will have sudden attacks. That is, when he sees Muslims weak, he stands guard, and becomes violent, starts snarling. He yells, acts dishonorably, snitches on people, creates trouble, and behaves disgracefully.

If a person continues to be a hypocrite even though he acknowledges the signs of hypocrisy [from the Qur’an], then he is a hypocrite himself. However, if he is making changes in himself, then this means he is sick, and he is just trying to recover from his disease. There are those who have disease in their hearts; they do look like hypocrites. If they are being reasonable, if they acknowledge the verse, then they will renounce it.

The hypocrite has no option but to look like a Muslim, so that no one would perceive him or understand him. While employing this strategy, he suffers as he realizes that he is serving Islam in some way. The supreme God states that in a Qur’anic verse, and says, “They bite their fingers.”

Hypocrites have devilish loyalty to one another. There is an understanding between unbelievers and hypocrites but when their own interests are at stake, they of course tear one another apart like wild animals. That is why the hypocrite is also wary of unbelievers.

The hypocrite has a great level of general culture. That is why he falls prey to feelings of grandeur. That is why he looks down on Muslims and has this urge to occupy an important position in the world. God says that, “Certainly [they] have nothing in their breasts except for pride which they will never be able to vindicate…” (Surah Ghafir, 56)

The hypocrite waits among Muslims for the right moment to attack them. At the moment of attack he wants to appear as a leader with all his filth and vulgarity and devilish characteristics. In other words, he is a human form of the devil.

The hypocrite will leak information to unbelievers because he foolishly thinks that will damage Muslims. That is what satisfies his devilish spirit. In the same way that the vampire calms down by sucking blood, so the hypocrite finds consolation in immorality and filth. But he is like a bat who cannot see the scientist watching him as he flies around; he foolishly imagines he can wrap Muslims round his little finger.

Our Prophet (pbuh) says in the hadith, "Most of the hypocrites in my community are from among well-educated people." Knowledge leads them astray and into a desire to be apart from Muslims. Feeling a sense of superiority, hypocrites seek to abandon Muslims, thinking, "I am wiser and smarter."

In the era of Our Prophet (pbuh), the then- hypocrites pretended to be wiser than Our Prophet; as they believed themselves to be supposedly wiser, they talked in a patronizing manner. Hypocrites are insolent and disrespectful.

Hypocrites profess to be superior in this world. They become spoiled and go astray; however in the afterlife, in the Presence of God, they will have no strength left in them to act like a snob, a know-it-all, a pseudo-intellectual, a sneak.

Those who have a sickness in their hearts are proud, egocentric and arrogant. They regard the sense of superiority as a precious form of worship. However, they are not aware of the fact that they are doing it under the influence of satan. They cannot realize their evil actions.

The British shadow state is quite arrogant and egocentric. As hypocrites have an inferiority complex, they admire this arrogance, egocentricity and grandeur. Hypocrites regard the egocentricity of the British shadow state as that of an elephant's and admire it, whereas they regard theirs as that of an insect's. Thus, they hold the shadow state in high regard and is extremely respectful of it. They hold disbelievers, heretics and oppressors in high esteem.

Hypocrites prefer a filthy life to a clean one. For example, avoiding taking daily showers, smoking weed, committing vile and immoral deeds, hanging around in cesspools, having close relations with disbelievers and experiencing such foulness is what hypocrites always have in mind. And they wish to be superior, and run the world without lifting a finger; that is their egocentricity and arrogance. They seek to stay in touch with a bad lot, and undertake dangerous ventures.

God belittles those who think highly of themselves, and dignifies those who show humility. Egocentricity and delusions of grandeur are not befitting of believers.

If a person is very egocentric, if he likes himself a lot, if he has an extreme air of haughtiness, all his body becomes egocentric. The whole body becomes his ego. His whole body becomes sick. I mean he becomes insane. That is what happened to Pharaoh, to Nimrod. They lost their sanity. When that is the case, satan settles in their body. They become unable to act rationally and in a balanced manner. They lose the ability to be reasonable.

You would appear as a mad person when you boast, when you become haughty. That would be very repellent and you wouldn't be loved. When you boast, when you act haughtily you make yourself unlovable. Why do you boast? Why do you act haughtily? You do so, to make people love you, right? Actually it has the exact opposite effect and you lose all the love you have.

One might be beautiful but arrogant and that beauty would not have any meaning. Beauty can also be an incitement. One might be young and beautiful but become mad with arrogance and vanity. You might see someone as ugly but that person could love madly and passionately. That person could then present a thousand times more beauty than those you call beautiful.

In the Qur'an God says, ' , in spite of their own certainty about them.' They resisted their good conscience. Otherwise their good conscience demands the right choice and tells them to "do". But they crush it. That is why their faces are darkened. Or else when people do not resist their good conscience, when they listen to the stirrings of their conscience, their faces will be radiant.

You are an ordinary piteous servant of God. Why do you put on airs? Where you go does not honor you. What is there in those places you go? Cement, iron, bricks, stone, wood, asphalt and there are also trees. Why would you be honored because of that?

Wisdom is a light shed upon us by God; it is given to mankind by God as an inspiration. Wisdom does not appear out of nowhere. If God takes the wisdom away, one would be astounded, become speechless, tongue-tied as if a mute.
