Sending a hypocrite away from Muslims is like turning off a patient’s life support machine. One must never abandon hope that someone in a coma may recover. You cannot just pull the plug. You have to wait until the person comes out of the coma. But some people never do, they die in a comatose state. The hypocrite is like that.

Hypocrites are mines of information. But the hypocrite has no interest in the Qur’an. The hypocrite is bored and embarrassed by Islam and the Qur’an. But he will regard reading books by an atheist intellectual as important and as a chance to show off.

The hypocrite spends all day doing pointless things. That is one way of identifying the hypocrite. How should he do his hair? What should he wear? He spends all day worrying about that kind of thing. The hypocrite takes no interest in religion or the faith. It stifles him. That is what the hypocrite finds least attractive of all.

The hypocrite spends all day on empty things. He will look around him, watch TV or see what is happening outside. He just waits for time to pass. He regards serving Islam as foolish. Since he harbors anger toward God, may He forbid, he finds it very difficult to serve Islam.

Serving Islam, God and the Holy Book is what the hypocrite finds most distressing. Because he hates God, may God forbid, he has no desire to serve Him. He does not want to serve the faith because he detests the Prophet (pbuh). And because he hates Muslims, he has no desire to help them.

For example, if you bring a hypocrite something to eat he will find something wrong with it. If you give him a present he will find something wrong with it. If you ask a question he will think it is aimed against him. He will think the worst of everything. That is from where the troubled nature and immorality of the hypocrite springs.

Since the hypocrite is always looking for an opportunity to create filth, one needs to speak to him very intelligently and rationally. One must not speak to as not to give him an opportunity to spread filth, immorality or aggression.

The hypocrite is always looking for a reason to desert Muslims and join the unbelievers. One must not give them the opportunity. But if he is really a hypocrite, the system will eventually get rid of him. No matter what you do. It would be a sin not to show patience and to try to get rid of him directly. That is no good. You have to show patience, because they may end up being cured. The hypocrite needs to be treated.

It is not easy to understand the mind of the hypocrite. Sometimes he may have all the signs of the hypocrite, but then you look and see he has become a Muslim: He pulls himself together and abandons his old ways. Others are insanely attached to hypocrisy and never renounce it. Those people are the true hypocrites.

Muslims are basically influenced by the verses of the Qur’an. They read them, and the verses affect them. But the real hypocrite never has anything to do with them. He regards that as just a bit of fun, may God forbid.

“The men and women of the hypocrites are as bad as one another.” (Surat at-Tawba, 67) God does not distinguish between them. Hypocrites are no different to one another. They should be able to live with unbelievers but they cannot; they can only live with one another, as a distinct , or 200 or 1000 people are no good. You must have at least a million people there every time. The state should organize that; the air should ring with people shouting, ‘Allahu Akbar (God is Great)’

The hypocrite watches the struggle between Muslims and unbelief like a gladiatorial spectacle. If he thinks that unbelief has the upper hand, he will abandon the Muslims and attach himself to unbelief in a single moment. The hypocrite is quite vile. He will sign up to them without a moment’s hesitation.

God appreciates martyrdom and getting wounded in His way. He appreciates preaching religion until late at night. What God also likes is the effortful search for His love. Only then God bestows this love and passion to those who are worthy.

What kind of interpretation of Islam is it if you do not preach to atheists and Darwinists? Who are we meant to command good and forbid evil to? Who are we meant to struggle against? Muslims have a duty to talk about Islam to Jews and Christians, known as the People of the Book, to atheists, to pagans and to everyone, in the kind of language they can understand. That is God’s command. You cannot talk about Islam using hostile language, only through love.

Our Prophet (pbuh) spoke with Christians and with Jews. He was friends with them. He spoke and preached to pagans and idol worshipers. That is what Islam requires.

The Prophet Moses (pbuh) preached to Pharaoh, and the Prophet Abraham preached to Nimrod. A Muslim will speak to and preach to anyone, be they atheist, communist or whatever.

If no one ever objected to us as we preached the religion, if everyone accepted everything we said, supported us, praised us, what do you think would happen in the Hereafter? The reward would be much less. But if there is objection, if you are working and making an effort despite that objection, the reward will be immense. God creates resistance, a lot of resistance, only so that Muslims will be more greatly rewarded . It is a gift of God to Muslims.

In order to set our conscience in motion, God shows us inoffensive people being oppressed and killed, being burned. If we do not act on our good conscience we would be committing a crime and that is unacceptable. We will serve Islam with all our might.

God does not want us to have only medium wisdom while preaching Islam and disseminating His Message. He wants us to have superior wisdom. Islam would not be disseminated with a mediocre rationality and wisdom; that is because some anti-Islam fronts are in a struggle against Muslims in an ambitious alliance by advocating numerous other philosophies.

Weakness of faith renders one nonchalant. Such a person would not have the enthusiasm for spreading Islam, they would not have the strength to fear God. They only go after their own interests and their own problems. That is a grave problem.

God gives abundance and relief onto those who strive on His Path and casts troubles and problems on those with ill-will, as you can see. God opens the way for those striving on the good path. That is a miracle. God eases the way for those who want to advance on His path.

Some people suspect others of being hypocrites. Let's assume that they are hypocrites; then educate them, communicate with them, talk to them through the verses of the Qur'an, be patient with them, right? Otherwise, people would not want to talk to each other, no Muslim would want to see or speak to another Muslim. If you start accusing people of being hypocrites, disbelievers or sick, there will be no one left to talk to.

God grants us the opportunity to preach Islam all over the world. This is a blessing of God on us.

In the communication of Islam’s message, sincerity and wisdom are the most effective factors. Knowledge or modernism alone will not suffice. One needs true, deep wisdom to explain faith in God. The most important thing is having a sincere belief, sincerely loving God, sincerely fearing God. The message of Islam cannot be communicated with a snobbish, pretentious attitude. Our Prophet (saas) didn't attend any universities, but achieved a world-wide effect with his wisdom stemming from his sincere faith. The Prophet Moses wasn't overtly eloquent, but he was very sincere. Because of his sincerity and deep faith, he was able to influence everyone. The Prophet Jesus and the Mahdi (peace be upon them both) will make Islamic morals triumph worldwide with their sincere faith. Jesus will not be a university graduate and the Mahdi will not have madrassa training, but they will make Islam triumph with sincere faith.

Our Kurdish brothers are luminous and heroic. Anyone who speaks badly of them for being Kurds or looks down on them because of their ethnicity is totally devoid of character. The Turkish state must stand up for our Kurdish brothers.
