The hypocrite will leak information to unbelievers because he foolishly thinks that will damage Muslims. That is what satisfies his devilish spirit. In the same way that the vampire calms down by sucking blood, so the hypocrite finds consolation in immorality and filth. But he is like a bat who cannot see the scientist watching him as he flies around; he foolishly imagines he can wrap Muslims round his little finger.

The hypocrite never severs his relations with unbelief. It is food and drink to him. That is a characteristic that continues uninterrupted. For example, he will get up in the night and tell unbelievers all kinds of things about Muslims. That is why God tells us to be on our guard. We must be careful when we speak. Hypocrites must not be told Muslims’ secrets. But the hypocrite will draw close in order to learn them.

Satan has a vast level of general culture. Hypocrites are also very cultured but they use it for devilish purposes, to put on airs and look very grand.

The hypocrite is unwilling to learn about the Qur’an. He hates the Qur’an. He hates anything to do with faith. He never wants to learn about all that. But if he does have any empty knowledge, that is solely for purposes of show. He would like to be called a religious scholar.

There is a deadly hatred in the heart of the hypocrite. All hypocrites are like the devil. They are always planning murder. They wanted to murder the Prophet (pbuh) and there are intentions of murder in the stories of the prophets Joseph and Moses. When we look at the Qur’an we see that killing the believers and the prophets at the top of their wish list. But God has always confounded them.

Hypocrites say, “I love the Prophet (pbuh). I never go along with unbelief.” Yet as soon as he is out of sight he heads off to the unbelievers.

The daily prayer really annoys the hypocrites; they regard that as totally unnecessary but he likes the good intentions and virtue of Muslims. The immorality of the unbelievers troubles him. That is why the hypocrite does not nail his colors to the mast of unbelief.

The hypocrite is unwilling to provide the slightest benefit for Islam, not in his writings or what he knows or anything. He does not want any benefit to accrue to Muslims. If he does do it, it will only be very minor, and purely for show or not to give himself away.

The hypocrite is careful to put on a show in order not to give himself away. He makes a shell for himself and walks around with it but he is stupid and unaware that he is being observed. He foolishly imagines he is being very clever and covering his tracks. He spends his whole life wading through filth.

The hypocrite has a great level of general culture. That is why he falls prey to feelings of grandeur. That is why he looks down on Muslims and has this urge to occupy an important position in the world. God says that, “Certainly [they] have nothing in their breasts except for pride which they will never be able to vindicate…” (Surah Ghafir, 56)

The hypocrite is always subconsciously thinking about the day he will become an unbeliever. He can never relinquish that idea; it eats him up. God says in one verse that, ‘They belong neither to you nor to them…’ He says they are undecided between the two groups (Surat al-Mujadala, 14)

Hypocrites have devilish loyalty to one another. There is an understanding between unbelievers and hypocrites but when their own interests are at stake, they of course tear one another apart like wild animals. That is why the hypocrite is also wary of unbelievers.

When you advise hypocrites to talk about God, they go crazy, you tell them to stay away from blasphemy, they go crazy. It is like satan’s session. You know how satan goes mad all of a sudden? That is how they go mad out of nowhere. That is why you have to be very careful and even-tempered when you talk to hypocrites.

The hypocrite is a devilish model of a human being. He is always dishonorable. He commits one foul deed after another. He never stops, because his lower self is under the control of the devil.

The hypocrite is always working against Muslims. He spends 24 hours a day wondering what devilish things to do. But since the means at his disposal are limited, so is his range of activity.

Hypocrites are always looking for filth. In the same way that the devil never tires of committing evil, so the hypocrite is always on the lookout for new adventures, since he also has a devilish soul.

Have a look at satan; whoever satan advocates, there is a malice behind them and there is a beauty in those they refrain to speak about and those they avoid. Satan avoids good people and wouldn't want to talk about them; talking about those good people offends and disturbs it very much.

Struggle against the satan requires patience, will-power and wisdom: That is because satan is intelligent, it is obstinate, perfidious and a trickster. Muslims should be very intelligent, patient and should be able to make good plans: That is because satan does not give up easily and the system of the antichrist would not die instantly. Every single plan they make against Muslims should be spoiled one after the other very patiently.

Satan specifically identifies and attacks those people with sickness in their hearts. Should these people forsake God, then they are unaware of this. The influence of satan envelops them like a layer of iron and satan will never release his hold on them again. He has a strong grip on their souls.

Those who have a sickness in their hearts are proud, egocentric and arrogant. They regard the sense of superiority as a precious form of worship. However, they are not aware of the fact that they are doing it under the influence of satan. They cannot realize their evil actions.

Hypocrites find comfort in tapping into their evil sides. They feel obliged to commit vile, secret, dishonest deeds, to hatch sinister plots; their souls can find no rest otherwise.

Hypocrites feel as if their souls burn and suffer when they feel they are becoming more like Muslims. Thus, they try to inspire their evil natures by committing indecent, treacherous deeds, by keeping in touch with disbelievers, or by hatching insidious plots against Muslims.

God wants to be loved sincerely. Suffering and satan must exist for real love and compassion to be achieved.

How can something be considered right if the opposite of it does not exist? How will we be tried if satan and the lower-self do not exist? How can we recognize what is beautiful, what is right? It is impossible. It is impossible to achieve any higher love, any higher wisdom in this way. Then we would be no different than a child, we would not be able to develop.

The hypocrite is unaware of his stupidity. He does not know that God is watching him. He is like a lab rat in a jar: Various doors open up for that animal and the animal thinks it is being very clever. It tries this and that and thinks it is developing strategies. But the scientist is watching from the outside. It falls down and rolls over and imagines it is doing things for itself. The hypocrite is a devilish creature but as foolish as a lab rat. He is very stupid.
