Hypocrites do not appreciate advice. When someone tries talking to them to give advice, they go mad.

You need to be very attentive while talking to a hypocrite. When they are prescribed goodness and proscribed evil, they become insane, enraged. Since their souls welcome rebellion and fiendishness, they feel very uncomfortable.

When you advise hypocrites to talk about God, they go crazy, you tell them to stay away from blasphemy, they go crazy. It is like satan’s session. You know how satan goes mad all of a sudden? That is how they go mad out of nowhere. That is why you have to be very careful and even-tempered when you talk to hypocrites.

Hypocrites always move in the dead of night. They need silence. The very first thing these hypocrites would do in the dark is to get in touch with unbelievers, providing immediate intelligence to them. They cannot live any other way.

Hypocrites feel suffocated if they do not come into contact with blasphemy. In any case they will figure out a way to come into contact with blasphemy. That is what they thrive on. You will never see a hypocrite who does not have some connection with blasphemy. Making mischievous and secret contact is an irrevocable quality of the hypocrite; it is their disease.

This filth is deep down inside of hypocrites. They yearn for it. They want a constant connection with blasphemy. Muslims bother them. In other words, talking about Islam and the Qur’an disturbs hypocrites.

If hypocrites realize that they are caught, they will be strategic. They may start behaving like Muslims. However when they find the opportunity, as stated in the verse, they “,” and dive back into filth.

Hypocrites are a great danger to the world of Islam. Every now and then they take a step back but this is almost always temporary. They will go back to meanness and foulness again. That is to say, you should always watch out for the hypocrite.

Hypocrites are like bats; they need villainy just as much as bats need blood. In any case they have to get involved in this filth. Even if it is only two or three people, hypocrites will feel relieved like bloodsucker vampire bats when they come into contact with unbelief.

Hypocrites condemn everything. Condemn this, condemn that; they constantly discredit Muslims. They interrupt charity, love, and joy. They interrupt friendship. They do not want believers to be in peace, so they continuously do nasty things.

Hypocrites attack you, they hoot and holler, they act disgracefully. They have no respect for anything. They are always presumptuous. We see these characteristics in all the hypocrites in history.

Hypocrites do not want to look like Muslims. For instance, when they are not with Muslims they make sure they appear like unbelievers. They are ashamed of being Muslims. They take offense from being seen with the Qur’an, and with Muslims. They take pleasure from being remembered with unbelief. They think it is showy.

The real deal for hypocrites is unbelief. Their infidel souls are ashamed of being Muslims. They are ashamed of mentioning Islam and the Qur’an.

Talking about God and religion on the Internet hurts hypocrites more than a cut. Talking about unbelief gives them comfort. They suppose it brings them popularity, helps them build up a reputation. Coming into contact with infidels and blasphemy, even if for just a bit, gladdens their hearts. This gives them a tormented comfort and pleasure.

Islam, being a Muslim, is a lightweight thing for the hypocrite. He regards unbelief as much richer. I mean, he finds the behavior and lifestyle of unbelief, and its attitude toward Islam and the Qur’an, very exciting. The hypocrite is a secret fan of unbelief; he is utterly embarrassed by being a Muslim.

The hypocrite never wants to place any verses from the Qur’an on his Facebook or Twitter account. He may sometimes reluctantly put them in to show off to Muslims or to hide the fact he is a hypocrite.

The hypocrite is always subconsciously thinking about the day he will become an unbeliever. He can never relinquish that idea; it eats him up. God says in one verse that, ‘They belong neither to you nor to them…’ He says they are undecided between the two groups (Surat al-Mujadala, 14)

The daily prayer really annoys the hypocrites; they regard that as totally unnecessary but he likes the good intentions and virtue of Muslims. The immorality of the unbelievers troubles him. That is why the hypocrite does not nail his colors to the mast of unbelief.

The hypocrite never severs his relations with unbelief. It is food and drink to him. That is a characteristic that continues uninterrupted. For example, he will get up in the night and tell unbelievers all kinds of things about Muslims. That is why God tells us to be on our guard. We must be careful when we speak. Hypocrites must not be told Muslims’ secrets. But the hypocrite will draw close in order to learn them.

The hypocrite will leak information to unbelievers because he foolishly thinks that will damage Muslims. That is what satisfies his devilish spirit. In the same way that the vampire calms down by sucking blood, so the hypocrite finds consolation in immorality and filth. But he is like a bat who cannot see the scientist watching him as he flies around; he foolishly imagines he can wrap Muslims round his little finger.

God is love; God is endearment. God wants to be loved and to love, but He wants real love, not something you would get from a robot. That is, love from someone who loves not out of obligation but by his own will. That is why God created passion and love. God lives within His creatures; for instance when we feel passion, God feels it too.

God loves love and passion very much. Angels love Him too, but God does not find this enough because the angel is bound to love. However, the love of humans, who suffer in pain, is God’s favorite.

God appreciates martyrdom and getting wounded in His way. He appreciates preaching religion until late at night. What God also likes is the effortful search for His love. Only then God bestows this love and passion to those who are worthy.

There is no difficulty in Islam: God wants it to be convenient as He emphasizes that in verses multiple times, and says that the Prophet Abraham’s (as) religion is easy. In another verse He says, “God desires ease for you; He does not desire difficulty for you.” (2/185) Islam is like a festival; it is a religion of joy. Things like hanging people, cutting them up, beating people, blasphemy, making women’s lives miserable do not exist in it. Islam considers women to be flowers.

They superfluously make Islam into something horrible. Wherever there is something awful, they attach it to Islam. There is no such thing. Islam is like a spring festival.
