Modernity, before all else, brings about sanity. In a bigoted system, the human mind cannot operate normally. In a bigoted environment people become half-insane. Look around and you will see that many of them are mentally unstable. In modern societies, the human mind operates sanely and rationally.

It is important to approach Muslims with compassion, no matter what. Because if you choose to get angry with them instead, you’d have to cut ties with almost ninety per cent of them. For instance, you call ISIS terrorists, and while we are vehemently against their ways, most Muslims in Afghanistan, Pakistan and India share the same views as ISIS: It is because they were raised that way. That is why we should try to save them, approach them with compassion, instead of severing ties with them.

For the sake of our country, for the sake of our national security and national integrity, the policy of hatred should end. It is important to stem the tide of bigotry, as its main policy is hatred towards everything.

The shadow state apparatus has a plan to encourage traditional, orthodox Islam, and thus make Islam look aggressive and psychopathic, and to set Muslim against Muslim. This is a grave danger.

Those who say that life must be miserable and wretched with no art or joy are ruining the Islamic world. We will not allow them to ruin Turkey in that way. Why should we not have music, or dance? You must come to your senses. What is there about these things that is incompatible with the faith? What verses of the Qur’an are these acts disobey? What harm do they do anyone? Where do you get these ideas from?

Of course we can have music and dancing and fun. You must not add artificial prohibitions to the faith. And then Islam will rule the world.

Had some bigots been given free reign, neither listening to music, nor sculptures, nor paintings, or freedom for ladies putting on make-up and going out would be left. These people are quite bloodthirsty. That is why Turkey should swiftly go towards a modern, religious line.

If you give fanaticism an inch, it takes a mile. It is very dangerous. The state must adopt a determined policy to spread modern thinking, a modern state structure and a modern conception of art. In other words, one must live by a modern Islam. What does modern mean? Like in the time of the Companions.

In bigotry, homes lack quality, their cars lack quality, their streets lack quality. An incomprehensible degeneracy pervades around them. The quality of the clothes goes bad, the quality of paintings, food and everything goes bad and becomes blunt. Bigotry advocates this bluntness, this crassness and this lack of quality and that is a grave danger. We need to be very cautious against that.

Some people assume that the bigotry that is going on right now will be reinforced ten-fold when Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh) appears. That is not the case. The bigotry that is going on right now will be cleared out and a normal, humane life style will be embraced.

Our conservative Orthodox Muslim brothers assume that the Mahdi will come and see that the current radicalism as something very light and say, "What kind of bigotry is that? I will do a hundred times more of it." They believe that the world will be plunged into a pitch black darkness after him. The fact is however that Hazrat Mahdi will solve radicalism from the roots once and for all.

The traditionalist Orthodox Islamic conception removes people’s vitality and paralyzes their minds. Societies that suffer constant oppression emerge as a result of this.

One of the evil methods employed in the plan to devastate the Middle East is to eliminate the power of the mind by corrupting human nature and benumbing the mind through the traditionalist Orthodox Islamic conception. The minds of people are being ruined, are decaying, so to speak; the souls, the minds of people are decaying and you witness the misery and desolation this leads to.

They aim for a benumbed, insentient youth instead of an energetic, vigorous one. Through the traditionalist Orthodox Islamic mentality, they want people’s brains and souls to decay; they are corrupting their nature and trying to turn them into misogynists. They are destroying the [idea of] feminine beauty. And this is how they sneakily devastated the Middle East. People should not fall in to this trap.

Islam religion is promoted as a hell by those abiding by the traditionalist Orthodox Islamic conception. The religion they promote is like a system that is bent on clouding the mind, insight and foresight, destroying all its vital aspects, eliminating art, aesthetic and beauty, one that virtually despises happiness of people. It is a system that ruins people by turning them into schizophrenics. It is impossible for people to maintain a normal mental and physical health within the confines of the traditionalist Orthodox system.

They think that it is heroic to complicate Islam to the point of being impracticable. They want plenty of things to be rendered unlawful. Yet they don’t even refrain from committing the deeds declared unlawful by themselves. They say, "Otherwise everything would become lawful". That is the way Islam is; everything is lawful. Unlawful deeds are in the few. Such compulsion has no place in Islam. Prayers are quite easy to perform as well. Bigots are devastating the religion by complicating it.

It is an evil system to complicate religion to the point of being impracticable, and devastating religion by creating a population unable to live it. However, God offers us a straightforward religion through the Quran, a religion that can be lived by all the communities. Bigots make people abandon it and adopt a religious conception that is impracticable and hellish instead.

Through bigotry, satan has dealt a powerful blow that aims to destroy Islam. Under the influence of satan, bigots render prayer impracticable and ablution impossible to perform.

They can’t believe that women can be free or that people can be happy. God doesn't want difficulty for people, He wants freedom for them.

Arts, entertainment, beauty and music are not forbidden in Islam. They ruined the Islamic world by taking all the beauties away from Muslims.

In order to oppose the traditionalist system, one needs to be very brave. They isolate and oppress their opponents.

Bigotry renders life unlivable. The generations were raised to be bigots. They find it hard, odd, and baffling to lead modern, beautiful, cheerful, aesthetic, and high-quality lives. They will have to get over this.

Bigotry is a dark ideology. It suffocates people. People assume they should live in darkness. When they first see the light, they become dazzled and say "I cannot live in such brightness." But as they live, they will get used to it. In time, their eyes will get used to the brightness.

We are the pride, and the bright, modern face of Islam against the dark traditionalist Orthodox Islamic conception. We are a community that Muslims can show as an example with ease and a clear conscience.
