A country in which women are not modern can never be modern. A country in which women are not comfortable and free can never be free. No one would ever laugh in a country in which women do not laugh. If women are not happy in a country, no one else can ever be happy.

If we become Europeans, be enlightened and loving, if we hold women in high esteem, if it is seen that women are free in our country, if we attach importance to the arts, sciences, aesthetics, we would attain the highest quality. Anything other than that would cause our ruin.

Women should be free to wear what they like and live at ease all around the world. Any country that doesn't provide that freedom has been ruined. The countries in which women enjoy freedom become the most modern, most peaceful and most content countries of the world. Anything other than that is not possible. Let those wearing chadors wear it as they like, let those wearing veils wear it as they like, everyone should be free. Ladies should not be oppressed.

Any state lacking quality would collapse. Any state that oppresses women would be ruined. That is because half of all people are women. There will be no relief or comfort if women are oppressed there. God takes revenge.

Societies attain happiness when women are happy. For women to be happy, they should be free and well-protected. Both the state and people should be protective of them, everyone should protect and watch over women and they should be treasured everywhere they go so that they could be happy and vivacious.

A mentality that oppresses women would never develop and prosper. God would open the path of a country in which women enjoy freedom. It would be the end of a country if women are oppressed in that country.

A country in which women lack quality, could never attain quality and success. Such a country can never attain quality, can never be modern and European. If women in a country are not enlightened, free, happy and well-groomed, if they are not free in their joy, in their laughter, in sports, in their eating, etc., such a country can never be an enlightened country. Such a country would be dark and every country that becomes overcast would definitely be ruined. May God forbid.

Where there are women, no quarrels, no tensions exist; only kindness. And usually there is rudeness where there are no women. People assume a polite attitude in the company of women, even if there is a single woman [present]. Women bring politeness, kindness wherever they go.

Satan wants to drown people in details in order to alienate them from prayer. Bigots complicate prayer by listing thousands of things that will render the prayer invalid; however, performing prayer is quite easy. That is why God did not go into detail in the Qur'an regarding prayer; He only mentions ruqu [bowing down], sujud [prostration] and qiyam [standing up]. Perform your prayer and leave: That is it.

The Quran introduces a guardianship system. Believers are obliged to watch over each other as if their own brothers.

Islam religion is promoted as a hell by those abiding by the traditionalist Orthodox Islamic conception. The religion they promote is like a system that is bent on clouding the mind, insight and foresight, destroying all its vital aspects, eliminating art, aesthetic and beauty, one that virtually despises happiness of people. It is a system that ruins people by turning them into schizophrenics. It is impossible for people to maintain a normal mental and physical health within the confines of the traditionalist Orthodox system.

They think that it is heroic to complicate Islam to the point of being impracticable. They want plenty of things to be rendered unlawful. Yet they don’t even refrain from committing the deeds declared unlawful by themselves. They say, "Otherwise everything would become lawful". That is the way Islam is; everything is lawful. Unlawful deeds are in the few. Such compulsion has no place in Islam. Prayers are quite easy to perform as well. Bigots are devastating the religion by complicating it.

It is an evil system to complicate religion to the point of being impracticable, and devastating religion by creating a population unable to live it. However, God offers us a straightforward religion through the Quran, a religion that can be lived by all the communities. Bigots make people abandon it and adopt a religious conception that is impracticable and hellish instead.

They can’t believe that women can be free or that people can be happy. God doesn't want difficulty for people, He wants freedom for them.

Communism claims to provide social justice with restraint, yet in Islam justice, equality is ensured wholeheartedly and willingly.

In the guardianship system that Islam brings, poor and needy will be taken care of, orphans will be cherished. There will be no poverty, only happiness. In this guardianship system, no one will expect ‘thank you’s. Because God is the owner of everything.

Being one another's protective friends means embracing, protecting and watching over one another. 
Muslims abandoned their responsibility to one another as protective friends. Yet, it is one of the most important obligations of Islam.

Arts, entertainment, beauty and music are not forbidden in Islam. They ruined the Islamic world by taking all the beauties away from Muslims.

Islam in the Qur'an is joy and celebration. Yet, there are all kinds of darkness in bigotry. What we intend is the Islam in the Qur'an.

Religion is joy, happiness and celebration. Islam is beauty.

Communication of Islam based on sincerity and conscience spreads like light everywhere. The dark spirit of bigotry, on the contrary, leads people to disbelief.

Reign of Islamic moral values will come suddenly, just like having “samples of the summer in spring” in the words of Said Nursi.

God has made all commandments in the Qur'an explicit, everything is crystal clear. Islam does not include ambiguities.

There is neither neighborhood pressure in Islam, nor rules prescribed by the world. Rules people have invented take away the joy of life. Islam removes all the pressure of the streets or which customs enforce, and it gives utmost freedom to people.

Hypocrites are a great danger to the world of Islam. Every now and then they take a step back but this is almost always temporary. They will go back to meanness and foulness again. That is to say, you should always watch out for the hypocrite.
