The whole of the Ottoman army were Bektashis. Most of the Ottoman Sultans were Bektashis as well. Humanity, love, beauty and profundity prevail in the spirit of Bektashism and Alevism. They know nothing about egocentricity. They know nothing about peevishness. Radicals, on the other hand, have formidable egocentricity; most of them are in grave depravity.

Alewism is love, it is brotherhood, it is peace, it is bravery, it is courage. Alewism is a system that depicts love very beautifully. There is profundity in Alewism.

Alevis are very decent, reasonable people. They are the masters of maturity and profundity. Alevis are not communists. They are lovers of God; they are sagacious intellectuals. Consequently, they would not be deceived, they have superior personalities.

Love of the Mahdi is very fervent among Alewites and Shias. Theirs is a powerful love. Sunnis have an unnecessary languor and that is not something good. They need to make it right.

People should learn about Christianity, Judaism and Islam as a part of general culture. They should learn about Alevism, Bektashism, Shiism. If they do not know about those, it would be ignorance, it would be a deficiency.

Alevis are very dear to us. Alevis think freely and sincerely. They are not jealous, they are not malicious, they are full of love. They are people of affection; people of heart. They are very dear to us.

Our Alawite brothers are very decent people; they have high moral values and they are really very kind. They are very extroverted. They are against radicalism, they are full of love, they are very decent and very mature. They are very wise people.

Alawism is very dear to us; it is a beauty, it is a spirit, it is love and affection. Our Alawite sisters and brothers are the ornaments of the Islamic world.

Alawism means beauty, it means love and compassion. It means friendship and gentleness and it means taking a stand against bigotry. Consequently our Alawite brothers and sisters bring about beauty whereever they go.

Djemevis are places of beauty in which radiant people of love reside and talk about God, Islam and the Qur'an.

Alawites love Hazrat Ali (ra) fervently. The great majority of their seniors are sayyids, they are from the line of our Prophet (saas). They should be appreciated.

One of the most beautiful aspects of Alawism is that they are strictly against radicalism.

Kurds are religious Muslims; Alawites, Bektashis are perfect Muslims. There will never be a rift between us and our Kurdish brothers and sisters.

No one would ever let Turkey be divided. No one would ever release Abdullah Öcalan. No Turkish policeman would ever let that happen. Our police officers are all nationalists. They all are very keen on our homeland, our people, our flag; they all risk death for God, for our homeland, for our flag.

A Muslim is attacked very often. A Muslim is the one who is attacked. A Muslim is the one with a lot of enemies. If one is a real Muslim, if he is a real man of causes, he would have a lot of enemies. How could one be a Muslim if he doesn't have hypocrites pestering him? Muslims have a lot of unbelievers and a lot of hypocrites pestering them.

The lack of a system that is based on faith and love creates a dreadful system. And that rules in this world as an inexplicable trouble.

The reason why people in the Southeast support the HDP is because they are afraid of the PKK, and nothing else.

Every father, every mother in society has a different, specific understanding of religion. Youngsters have such a specific understanding of religion as well. They contradict one another. They do not like each other's way. However, had everyone abided by the Qur'an, they would all become an ummah.

Many people in this world stare absently. Passion is very difficult. It can only be formed in very wise people.

Our soldiers are fearless. They live for God, for our Book, for our homeland, for our flag, for our people and for our state. There is no other goal in the life of a soldier. If our soldiers sense that the path taken would lead Turkey to division, no one could ever get hold of our soldiers. No one could ever get hold of our gendarmery and no one could ever get hold of our police. Whoever acts treacherously, whoever acts ignominiously, they would drag them out and reveal them.

If you are losing something there is good in that. You haven't come to this world to live forever. You lose the smallest things and then obsess about it. What if you lose it? You are exaggerating it; actually there is nothing wrong in it if you look at things rationally.

What is the advantage of a lack of trust in God? One would only be suffering and humiliating himself in vain. He would be embarrassed before God. He would be hurting himself and doing something abnormal that is not compliant with reason or logic.

Almighty God describes security and tranquility as a ground upon which faith would prosper. That is why in a brawling environment, in a tense environment, such progress in faith cannot be attained.

There are two kinds of idolatry. The first one is confessed idolatry. For instance, they build up an idol and worship it. That is confessed idolatry. And there is also covert idolatry. That is believing that others, someone or something other than God has power. For instance, it is believing that people have independent power. Actually God is the One Who makes everyone speak, He is the One Who makes everyone speak and do things.

Some people believe that it is not possible to think about God while having fun. For instance, when one goes to a wedding or a disco, or when one listens to music on the radio, they believe that God should be forgotten to do so. That is very wrong.
