Hypocrites deem general culture important, wish to learn about everything and hate religion. The only thing that irritates them is religion, Islam.

In the era of Our Prophet (pbuh), the then- hypocrites pretended to be wiser than Our Prophet; as they believed themselves to be supposedly wiser, they talked in a patronizing manner. Hypocrites are insolent and disrespectful.

Our Prophet (pbuh) says in the hadith, "Most of the hypocrites in my community are from among well-educated people." Knowledge leads them astray and into a desire to be apart from Muslims. Feeling a sense of superiority, hypocrites seek to abandon Muslims, thinking, "I am wiser and smarter."

Quote
The hypocrite has an innate desire to leave. In his book 'Ihya' ulum al-din', Imam al-Ghazzali states, "The hypocrite inside a mosque is like a bird inside a cage. When the door of the cage is opened, the bird flies away."

Quote
Muslims look forward to the hypocrite leaving them in peace but as soon as he leaves, another one comes along. The hypocrite is a necessity and is significant for worship. It is just that people should know the Qur'an method well to be able to deal with them effectively.

It is dangerous to let your guard down against the hypocrite threat. People must be ever-vigilant against hypocrites because a hypocrite is like sticky tar. The moment you get rid of one of them, another one appears. There is no Muslim community that is free from hypocrites.

A hypocrite is not alone. When he abandons Muslims, he turns to an already available hypocrite community. A hypocrite always has a crew that will watch over him and look after him but he hates them as much as they hate him.

Quote
There should be no pride involved in love, since if there is pride, love ends. Pride and lack of forgiveness are the poisons of love. People thus fail in managing love. However, forgiveness, bringing your pride under control, putting your pride aside, this clears the way for love to the fullest extent.

Wisdom is a light shed upon us by God; it is given to mankind by God as an inspiration. Wisdom does not appear out of nowhere. If God takes the wisdom away, one would be astounded, become speechless, tongue-tied as if a mute.

Quote
The common characteristic of all the hypocrites in the era of Our Prophet (pbuh) is that they consider themselves superior to Our Prophet and have a desire to stand out beside him. Be it men or women, hypocrites always aim to be the one on the top, to be the greatest. They consider themselves to be God, may God forbid.

Quote
Hypocrites tell Our Prophet (pbuh) and his companions, "If we knew how to fight, we would certainly follow you." Hypocrites intentionally make themselves appear as incompetent. Additionally, they do not want Muslims to carry out activities for the benefit of Islam. So, they also try to hinder Muslims in this regard.

Quote
Hypocrites are the reason that the Islamic world is in ruins. Hypocrite is a fearsome force. People are wrong in regarding the disbelievers as the primary concern. If we assume the strength of disbelievers to be 1 out of 1000, the power of hypocrites would be 999 out of 1000. Hypocrites pose the actual threat.

The world shadow state considers Rumism as a counter-religion against Islam. They have made extensive preparations, establishing the foundations of a religion in secrecy. Since they know they cannot separate people away from Islam, they consider Rumism as a replacement for it.

Some people use crying as their weapon when things contradict their interests. This is a devilish method of fussing in order to arouse pity for themselves, in order to acquire something, in order to object to something, to frustrate the other party. A Muslim cries for the love of God. They do not cry to bother or frustrate others, as this is indecent and atrocious.

Quote
When hypocrites talk, they talk with malice. When they talk, they talk instigation or trouble, or bad luck, or a reason to argue, or something to mess with, or delusion, or a devilish urge. What about a believer? He always talks in a way that brings prosperity, tranquility, a way that removes instigation, a way that brings comfort to the heart.

Quote
The hypocrite never takes upon himself the Qur’anic verses about hypocrites; only a believer does that. A Muslim realizes that with terror and astonishment; he says to himself, what have I done? I have sunk deep into the signs of hypocrite, I have sunk deep into a swamp and I have to get away. He gives up completely; he ends it fundamentally in his heart because it is clear that he cannot live with it: Besides he had already seen how filthy it was.

If you are looking for the Mahdi's group, God presents evidence in the Qur’an. He says, “Follow those who do not ask you for any wage” When we look at religious scholars and teachers, we see that almost all of them are getting paid: Ninety nine percent of them are getting paid. If you want to find the Mahdi group, you will recognize them when they don’t ask for a wage.

Quote
Sometimes a hypocrite takes shelter; you have to be very careful with that. He temporarily hides himself. He will have sudden attacks. That is, when he sees Muslims weak, he stands guard, and becomes violent, starts snarling. He yells, acts dishonorably, snitches on people, creates trouble, and behaves disgracefully.

Quote
If a person continues to be a hypocrite even though he acknowledges the signs of hypocrisy [from the Qur’an], then he is a hypocrite himself. However, if he is making changes in himself, then this means he is sick, and he is just trying to recover from his disease. There are those who have disease in their hearts; they do look like hypocrites. If they are being reasonable, if they acknowledge the verse, then they will renounce it.

The hypocrite has no option but to look like a Muslim, so that no one would perceive him or understand him. While employing this strategy, he suffers as he realizes that he is serving Islam in some way. The supreme God states that in a Qur’anic verse, and says, “They bite their fingers.”

The hypocrite has a great level of general culture. That is why he falls prey to feelings of grandeur. That is why he looks down on Muslims and has this urge to occupy an important position in the world. The hypocrite will leak information to unbelievers because he foolishly thinks that will damage Muslims. That is what satisfies his devilish spirit. In the same way that the vampire calms down by sucking blood, so the hypocrite finds consolation in immorality and filth. But he is like a bat who cannot see the scientist watching him as he flies around; he foolishly imagines he can wrap Muslims round his little finger.

The hypocrite never severs his relations with unbelief. It is food and drink to him. That is a characteristic that continues uninterrupted. For example, he will get up in the night and tell unbelievers all kinds of things about Muslims. That is why God tells us to be on our guard. We must be careful when we speak. Hypocrites must not be told Muslims’ secrets. But the hypocrite will draw close in order to learn them.

The hypocrite is unwilling to learn about the Qur’an. He hates the Qur’an. He hates anything to do with faith. He never wants to learn about all that. But if he does have any empty knowledge, that is solely for purposes of show. He would like to be called a religious scholar.

There is a deadly hatred in the heart of the hypocrite. All hypocrites are like the devil. They are always planning murder. They wanted to murder the Prophet (pbuh) and there are intentions of murder in the stories of the prophets Joseph and Moses. The hypocrite is careful to put on a show in order not to give himself away. He makes a shell for himself and walks around with it but he is stupid and unaware that he is being observed. The hypocrite is always subconsciously thinking about the day he will become an unbeliever. He can never relinquish that idea; it eats him up. God says in one verse that, ‘They belong neither to you nor to them…’ He says they are undecided between the two groups (Surat al-Mujadala, 14)

The hypocrite is unaware of his stupidity. He does not know that God is watching him. He is like a lab rat in a jar: Various doors open up for that animal and the animal thinks it is being very clever. It tries this and that and thinks it is developing strategies. But the scientist is watching from the outside. It falls down and rolls over and imagines it is doing things for itself. The hypocrite is a devilish creature but as foolish as a lab rat. He is very stupid.

Quote
Islam, being a Muslim, is a lightweight thing for the hypocrite. He regards unbelief as much richer. Talking about God and religion on the Internet hurts hypocrites more than a cut. Talking about unbelief gives them comfort. They suppose it brings them popularity, helps them build up a reputation. Quote
Hypocrites would always like to see their names associated with unbelief. They do not want to be known as Muslims. Verses of the Qur’an disturb them; they find them insulting. For example, posting a verse on their Facebook page offends their feelings, or the Qur’an, or Muslims. If it were within their power, they would erase them all, because they are ashamed of them. However, they know this would expose them, so they post them halfheartedly and unwillingly. In truth, they hate them.

They take serious offense from being referred to along with Islam and the Qur’an. Take a look at our century. Hypocrites do not want to look like Muslims. For instance, when they are not with Muslims they make sure they appear like unbelievers. They are ashamed of being Muslims. Hypocrites are like bats; they need villainy just as much as bats need blood. In any case they have to get involved in this filth. Even if it is only two or three people, hypocrites will feel relieved like bloodsucker vampire bats when they come into contact with unbelief.
