What are the components of preaching religion? Pain, difficulties and threats… If these increase, the value of the preaching would increase as well, and you would attain the good pleasure of God even more. If your goal is to attain the good pleasure and the mercy of God, you would lovingly endure those. Living such a cowardly, timid life in this transient world is vey humiliating.

Man has a great power of resistance. He orders his brain and doesn't do what Satan orders. For instance, he would serve Islam. The lower-self says, "I am exhausted!" a Muslim responds to his lower-self saying, "You create that tiredness with prompting," and says, "What exhaustion are you talking about? You would be jumping up and down if you were told that you would be given five thousand liras. You are lying, it is not true." Even if the lower-self says, "I am spent, I am tired, I am about to drop down," a Muslim would say, "If there were something in it for you, you would go insane and all energetic."

The best form of resting is – of course we do not do this for God to let us rest, but for the good pleasure of God- is perfect connection with God. There is no rest other than that. I mean one should never weaken his connection with God under no conditions. Saying, "I will put things right later on," is wrong.

People do not devote themselves completely to God; I can see that there is a great mass of people who would abandon religion once it conflicts with their interests. The Mahdi (pbuh), on the other hand, is a person who would always ask for the good pleasure of God even if it conflicts with all his interests. As it is understood from the hadiths, he would withdraw himself from all aspects of social life.

There is no reliability and soundness in disbelief. You talk to a man and then you see him go and do something atrocious. They act in perversion and do something stupid. They want to approach you only insofar as they see you may serve their interest. When they have no personal gain in being with you, they refrain from coming near you. Actually in Islam, there is the concept of one being a servant of God without asking for any personal gain. Muslims live by that and thus attain constant reliability and decency.

There is no meaning to life without religion, may God forbid. I live for religions, for God, we all do insha'Allah.

Some people talk within the lines "But how are we to find the money?" about helping those who are in need. God would bring plenty in folds. The good deeds that will be attained is important, attaining the good pleasure of God is important. If you attain the good pleasure of God, He would give you riches. If you do not act in a way to attain His good pleasure and are stingy instead, God would take away everything you have and you would lose all your goods and possessions.

A Muslim lives for the good pleasure of God and he dies for the good pleasure of God. If one does not live for the good pleasure of God, life would turn into a living hell for him/her. Everything should be for the good pleasure of God; only then life would be beautiful. Heaven would be beautiful with the good pleasure of God as well.

When we love a person we love him/her for the good pleasure of God. What does the good pleasure of God mean? It stems from the services rendered for Islam. Does he/she unite Muslims? Does he/she ensure unity? Does he/she work to quell dissension? Does he/she develop an attitude against division? If we see all these in a person, we should love that person for the good pleasure of God. We feel that love as a religious observation.

It would not be acceptable if love is contaminated with idolatry. For instance, one might say, "I do love my friend a lot, I do love my spouse a lot." And when then asked, "Do you love God?" he says, "I love God as well." That is not acceptable. He should say, "I love my spouse for the good pleasure of God, I love my friend for the good pleasure of God. I love them as the manifestations of God."

Our heart is set on the Hereafter. Our heart is set on the good pleasure of God, not on any rank or position.

If you told those [who are weak in faith] to remain sleepless for the sake of God, to serve Islam, they wouldn't do that; but if you told them that they would win a car if they waited standing up for days without any sleep, they would do it without hesitation. This shows the tendency of the inner self to assume an animalistic, dishonorable, low character.

Anyone who does not do what he does for God’s sake will inevitably be defeated. The important thing is God’s approval. The way will always be clear for anyone who seeks His approval. This is a secret and unknown force.

Worldly business can only have a meaning if they are done for the good pleasure of God. Muslims are disturbed by the unlawful acts, they make Muslims paralyzed and Muslims are unable to do such acts. But if a person is weak in mind and in faith, such a person does not mind if an act is religiously unlawful or not.

People should be taught about loving people for God’s consent. In its absence, people keep looking for someone who is richer or more attractive.

Because people don’t experience loving for God’s sake, their relationships often end up in pain. Happiness comes when one loves for God.

God teaches us that one's wealth or children should not be more worthy than striving in the way of God and paying service for God's approval.

Love is called so when it is felt towards God. Love occurs only when one seeks the highest approval of God. Otherwise, it does not exist. It only becomes technical cooperation.

If love is not based on the consent of God, everything comes to an end when one's interest in another is over. A strong bond and loyalty will not form in people who have been raised within a selfish system.

Our reward is the approval of God, His mercy and His Heaven. We are solely after attaining the approval of God, insha'Allah.

It would be best if auspicious acts, charity works are done in secret, with only God knowing.

All my friends strive for God's approval, none of them expect any monetary return.

A person lives only for God, for his religion. Pursuing earthly interests is a very despicable act.

Some people use their knowledge only to show off and sell themselves. They do not think about earning the good will of God. Such people are described in the Qur'an as "donkeys loaded with weighty tomes" All knowledge must be used to earn the good will of God.

If people use their knowledge for mischief and conflict, God will not be pleased with this behavior.
