Freedom would bring about comfort and abundance. We should protect Jews, we should protect Christians and irreligious people as well. Let us create such a liberal, refreshing, beautiful environment. A very wealthy, sound understanding of religion would prevail in such an environment. Secularity is a system that exists in the essence of religion.

If you exert pressure, people would feel abased. You would make people who normally would not consume alcohol start consuming alcohol, you would cause people who would normally perform their prayers, stand apart from prayers; things that would not normally happen would start to happen. I mean oppression would disrupt a person’s balance.

Targeting the happiness of people is the characteristic of the system of the Mahdi. The system of the Mahdi is not oppressive, it would interfere with anyone else's faith or opinion. Everyone will be free. A very devout center will present love to everyone.

We cannot impose our understanding of morality to others, we cannot interfere anyone’s beliefs.

It is a beauty for youngsters to be free in their beliefs. No one is obliged to accept any idea, let everyone be free.

The best thing to do is to voice ideas without giving rise to an environment of conflict.

There should not be any intervention on people's attire. Everyone is free to wear whatever they like, what others wear is of no one's concern. We should do something about the ignorance of people not about their clothing. I mean we should strive to put an end to ignorance.

People should be set free; interventions to society on unnecessary matters might disrupt the balance.

Secularity is an assurance, it is tranquility, it is the protection of religious and irreligious ones. There is secularity in the Qur'an.

Freedom of speech is for expressing ideas, not for cursing.

No one accepts insults when they are aimed at their own persons. Yet they strive to present insults aimed at believers as normal.

Stating an opinion is one thing, slandering is another. There is law and there is a legal system. We will not let anyone slander and revile.

Yes to freedom of thought! No to insults and revilement! No Turkish court is sentencing anyone because of their ideas. The offence people are sentenced for, are slanders and insults.

Islam is the religion that teaches people laicism. The most beautiful description of laicism is in the Qur'an.

Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh) is the one who will implement secularity. He is the one who will show compassion and love to everyone.

People are implementing secularity as if it is irreligiousness. And thus religious people are being oppressed. However, if secularity is abolished, an inconceivable ignominy, incomprehensible pain and oppression will start to appear. Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh) is the one who will establish that balance.

Secularity is in the structure of the system of the Mahdi.

A secular, democratic system will come into existence properly, insha’Allah. The time of oppression, the period of violence will come to an end. Insha’Allah.

Secularism doesn’t mean silencing religion. It doesn’t mean using religion either. It means living religion sincerely. If a politician wants to talk about God as he feels, he should be able to do so.

Secularism means the nonbelievers, Christians, Jews, Muslims, everyone will practice their beliefs with ease; no one will be able to interfere with their beliefs. There will be no compulsion or oppression. This is what secularism means. Everyone will be free to live their lives any way they want.

The Quran heavily preaches secularism. God says in the verse of the Quran; "Say: 'You have your religion and I have my religion'" (Qur’an, 109/6). This verse is a short summary of secularism.

They imagine that Islam will cease to exist when there is secularism. Secularism means irreligious and religious people living together in comfort. Islam guarantees the coexistence of both irreligious and religious people.

Secularism, democracy and freedom are the principles of Islam.

Women should be held in high esteem, they should be shown a special respect. They should be protected specifically. Women are great blessings. Women are the greatest bodily and spiritually combined blessings of this world. There is none above them.

If one acts very sincerely, loves God very deeply then he would find Mahdi (pbuh) anyway. They fail to find him because of their lovelessness, because of their lack of sincerity.
