Today, all political parties have to be in alliance. The plotters of the coup are only a handful before the 82 million-strong Turkish people.

The idea of a coup is based on intimidation. Our nation's bravery and fearless nature completely neutralised the attempted coup.

Being against the coup doesn't mean supporting a political party. As the people, we must emphasize that we're against the coup and united as one.

They might be aiming to create hatred in the society against our soldiers and thus to weaken our army in their feeble minds. We, as a nation, would never fall for such a plot.

Had our citizens remained silent against the coup, the coup plotters could have been successful even with half the power they had. No coup can be successful without the support of people living in that country.

Our President is doing what is right by seeking refuge in his nation and asking them to protect their homeland, their state and nation. The most effective solution against the coup is the reaction of the people.

May God render our people instrumental in making the morality of Islam prevail in the world. May He make His Mahdi and Jesus Messiah appear and honor us with their appearance.

May God increase the beautiful loyalty, courage, patience and good morality of our people even further and deem our nation powerful and exalted.

Those who do not mention God, who distance themselves from God feel a sense of agitation and tension; a groundless sense of fear, a considerable anxiety. God afflicts them with restlessness.

Muslims talk about God wherever they are. Life and religion are intertwined. One remembers God while he is having a bath, while he is eating and he talks about God wherever they are and in any event. There is not a moment, not a place in their lives that they do not remember God. One should see that he can live comfortably live with the Qur'an, read the Qur'an very easily, wherever he is. The Qur'an will be with you wherever you go, the Qur'an will be right by your side when you go to bed and you will remember God when you are in bed as well.

They should quit playing the funeral march for the martyrs. That is very disturbing. It is such weird, depressing music and absolutely unnecessary. Martyrs should be sent off with salawats, by saying Allahu Akbar and should be shown round the city.

Some people get into a weird romanticism, a weird state of mind when one talks about religion. God should be remembered with a rational attitude.

Being slack in talking about God is an unlawful act. This is an affliction upon the Muslim world. They do not feel the need to preach religion. They say, "There is the Religious Affairs Directorate and they are doing this anyway. Why should we preach religion?" The fact is, however, preaching religion is a religious duty upon all Muslims.

The US used to praise God's name profusely and it used to be rich. They started to grovel when they started to invoke God's name less and less. Russia used to invoke God's name less and they were groveling. Now they've started to talk about God and God gave them a little relief.

Even the smallest effort is very valuable in the Sight of God. Reciting the Name of God even once would bring about abundance, contentment and stave off scourges.

The power of enjoying things would be taken away from those who forget God in a very short time. They start saying, “I cannot have fun as I used to. I do not enjoy music as much as I used to. Something happened to me.” A miracle happened and you should see that. They start saying, “I am fed up with all these things, and maybe that is why.” In fact one would never be fed up with love, with beauty but a scourge befalls such people. One should always seek refuge in God.

A great majority of people might be in a forgetful mindset regarding God; one should not see them as real and be affected by them. God might be showing those people to him in such a state. For instance, one might be going to a disco or a nightclub and people there might not even say one word about God. He should not say, “So this is how people are. This is how this world works. Is there something wrong with me?” He should know that he is on the right path and the others have gone astray.

The right and left wing that are against the coup and violence in Turkey should come together in unity and act in alliance.

Secularism, democracy and freedom are the principles of Islam.

A coup is an action that abolishes respect for humanity. One who advocates coups cannot advocate Islam. Democracy exists in Islam.

There is only one explanation of firing at civilians from tanks: This is the biggest treachery and ignominy in all of history.

Blood-shedders, warmongers cannot be the Mahdi or his followers. The Mahdi will not shed a single drop of blood.

This is not the time to see political differences. This is a time for the unity of all patriots, regardless of differences.

Democratic struggle; even with harshest words or opposition is acceptable. But firing at civilians can never be accepted.

Killing one person is like killing the whole world. A Muslim would never want to be the means for the killing of a single civilian.
