Why Do They Always Land on Four Feet?

As you all know, cats always land on their four feet, even if they fall for several meters. The real reason why they land on four feet is that they use they tails for balance as they fall and thus change their bodies’ center of balance so they can land upright.

It is our Almighty Lord, the infinitely loving and merciful, who gives these cute animals, which so love to walk around in high places and up in the trees, this protective characteristic. This lovely cat is under our Lord’s protection. Allah reveals in many verses of the Qur’an that everything in the earth and sky is under his protection. In one such verse our Lord says:

 ... His Footstool encompasses the heavens and the Earth and their preservation does not tire Him. He is the Most High, the Magnificent. (Surat al-Baqara, 255)
