Many people are after their own pleasure and their own joy and use Islam to that end. They keep busy with their trade, looking for ways to eat, drink and travel, to get married and get on with their lives. This is the mindset of a great portion of the Islamic world. That is why God ruins the Islamic world. God wants them to turn towards Him yet they do not. God says, "You are after the transient blessings of this world but the Hereafter is the abode that is auspicious and beautiful, if you only knew."

Every person lives imprisoned in their physical body in this world. When the trial is over, this imprisonment inside that body will come to an end and the real life will begin in Heaven or hell.

If you run after the transient world, God would make it constantly run away from you and the world would then become a trouble for you. Almighty God creates life in a state of sleep; the Qur'an refers to this deep secret. People do not know that they are in a state of sleep in this world. The Dajjal movement wants people to consider life as pointless and vain. It wants people to have the sole purpose of getting rich and married or just procreation and watching soccer games, etc. Those people usually live without thinking about the Hereafter, remembering it only on their deathbed.

God says that, "This world is not the place for play and idle sport. The Heaven is the place for play and idle sport. This world is a place for trial." That is why if you fasten yourself to this world, you would be stuck with it, says God. But if you aim for the Hereafter, if you aim My approval, I will make you happy for all eternity, you will have fun and laugh. Those who fasten themselves to this world would merely grovel, let me say that much. They would merely wallow and flounder. Nothing else would ever happen.
