ADNAN OKTAR: Mr. Kılıçdaroğlu is also a very urbane person. He is luminous and honest. One can see that from his hands and face; you can tell an honest person by his face. It is obvious that they are honest.

ADNAN OKTAR: Mr. Kılıçdaroğlu is also very well bred. It is excellent for such a person to be leading the CHP. Deniz Baykal was the same; both are very devout. I rejoice at that aspect of theirs.  Mr. Kılıçdaroğlu has much love for Islam and the Qur’an. He is also capable of understanding. He has good warmth and affection. He emphasizes democracy well. He persistently talks about democracy. The CHP is a high quality party. It is a fine party.

Mr. Kılıçdaroğlu said that for years our devout citizens and members of the CHP had regarded one another as ogres, that they had never found common ground and that they were only now coming to know one another and went on to say, “This problem should have been resolved years ago, and students wearing the headscarf should have gone to university.”

Mr. Kılıçdaroğlu was asked a question about there being a wish to give free passes to students attending  the Qur’anic courses, but that the CHP was blocking this. Kılıçdaroğlu replied; “Not at all. We are not an obstacle. We will help. That would be a good thing. Learning about the Qur’an is an excellent thing. I will tell our provincial chairman so applications can be taken.”
