Almighty God gives blessings in abundance but the lack of thanking Him for those blessings is really irritating. You are invited to a palace, there are amazing foods, desserts, yet you simply eat them and leave yelling and kicking the door with your foot on your way out. Neither a thank you, nor any admiration; that would of course draw scourges upon you.

People keep asking why do troubles find them? If you feel thankful, troubles would not follow you. But if you fail to do that, you would be deserving of those troubles. Muslims are of course tried, but would not be plagued.

God says, "If you forget Me, I will forget you as well." That is something known to the human soul as well; a person would want to see the most beautiful response to their love and that is also what God wants.

God only wants love. If you begrudge that love, then God would make you feel the pains of life, death and everything else many times over.

Almighty God says, "If you love Me, if you appreciate Me with My true measure, then you will have strong love as well." That is because those who fail to appreciate God with His true measure couldn't know love. How could one who is unable to appreciate his Beloved know love?

God has unfurled wealth and glory in folds, in an incomparable manner, What God wants is "to be measured with His true measure." He says, "Love Me, know Me, be in love with Me so that I will love you back and let you live in happiness for all eternity."

The one you say you love is actually an image inside your brain. Who is the One Who creates them to the smallest detail? Who is the One Who makes you love and Who makes you speak? God is the One Who creates all these. I mean there is nothing that belongs to the person across from you. If you give your love to an imaginary idol instead of God, that would be the worst kind of deception: You would be deceiving yourself.

Some people might be thinking that they would not be able to take pleasure if they give their love to God. Actually only then they can take the greatest pleasure; only then God would give that depth, that profundity.

What is perfect morality? It is patience, compassion, self-sacrifice, honesty, bravery and loyalty. Without fear of God, one would fall into heedlessness. For instance, one might say that he loves God but not perform prayers, saying, "I love God, God doesn't need my prayers." He might have a lot of money but not give alms, saying, "Those in need can find it elsewhere. I do love God and money makes me happy, it helps me be close to God." Or perhaps, one does not act bravely, saying, "I should not risk my life, I am living nicely here." But in fear of God one shows courage.

When one invokes the name of God, feels love for God, his heart would feel relieved. That is what a Muslim lives, that is what we see. Muslims really are very happy and healthy. We look at their faces and see that they are radiant and in peace, and that their hearts are at ease. They feel the joy of being with God forever.

Love is the most beautiful aspect of the world. It is the most beautiful aspect of life. That is because love is interconnected with faith. Those who love God would also love people as His manifestations.

The love of God brings relief to people. If the love of God is explained in a country day in and day out, there will be abundance and plenty in that country and their lives would be like Heaven. Otherwise they would all be distressed.

God creates angels, but they are made to love Him. God commands man to love Him without seeing Him. "There will be unbelievers, there will be hypocrites, there will be irreligious people. You will suffer, you will patiently endure difficulties and you will love Me with a profound love. Then I will love you very much," God says. God loves the angels, but they are incomparable with man.

Almighty God says, “I want to see your love for Me.” God wants to have people who He loves and He wants there to be those who love Him. God has everything. He is Omnipotent and He wants to have people who love Him.

Eat, drink and travel; anyone can do that. There will be hardships, there will be illnesses, there will be difficulties, there will be troubles and scourges and you will love God deeply just the same against all odds. That is what Almighty God loves the most.

God gives abundance and relief onto those who strive on His Path and casts troubles and problems on those with ill-will, as you can see. God opens the way for those striving on the good path. That is a miracle. God eases the way for those who want to advance on His path.

Every time a hypocrite makes things difficult for a Muslim, he finds he has been drawn a bit closer to hell. And troubles in this world also begin plaguing him even more.

Troubles and afflictions only sharpen and strengthen people. This is the way God disciplines. Or else a great portion of people would remain heedless.

How does one pray when he is harmed somehow? Perfectly. How is one's connection with God? Perfect. How is his respect? Perfect. But he has been harmed with troubles; he is not motivated without those troubles. Why are you waiting for those troubles to hit you? One should constantly be in the state he is when troubles hit him.

People resisted every Messenger sent by God. What draws God's wrath is that all the Messengers are very honest, sincere and righteous. And that those people fiercely stand aloof from them, even though they are well aware of the fact that they are mistaken and are on the wrong path and that the Messengers of God are honest, sincere and veracious. In that case, what they do deserves troubles so God plagues them.

One acts impertinently against our Prophet (saas) and God heaps troubles upon him. He struggles against religion and God heaps troubles upon him. He strives against Islam and God heaps troubles upon him. He struggles against the champion of Islam, against a person serving God and God heaps troubles upon him. Observe what happens to such people and you will see: You will see that whoever struggles against the saints of God, against those who struggle in the Path of God, is plagued by God.

When in comfort, they unite against God in wide masses and rebel against God almost worldwide. When they are crushed, they pray to God and beg. What is the need for that crushing? Do not do that, be wise, repent. Be thankful to God and say, “O Lord, You are Great, I do love You so much” and see that God would make blessings rain down on you. Why are you looking for trouble? Why do you go astray and run riot? Why do you crush yourself?

The fact that the majority of the Islamic world is living in idolatry causes scourges on them, that is, Muslims’ fighting with each other. This is a spiritual disaster on them.

God wants to draw people’s attention to Himself, yet many get persistently away from Him. Becoming distant from God brings trouble.

Without love, without passion, without profundity, without real love; what are you looking for, everything loses its meaning. You know as some say, those left behind are beastly people. They are so repulsive, so disturbing to us, we have trouble calling them humans. But if one is self-sacrificing, courageous, patient, determined and brave we feel an admiration for him.
