There should not be any intervention on people's attire. Everyone is free to wear whatever they like, what others wear is of no one's concern. We should do something about the ignorance of people not about their clothing. I mean we should strive to put an end to ignorance.

Radicalism is formidable, oppression is formidable, communism is formidable. Freedoms on the other hand, are so beautiful. The merriment of people makes us feel happy.

Religion means freedom; religion means love, beauty, peace, arts and aesthetics. It means a world like heaven.

The concept of secularity exists in the complete sense in the Qur'an. Secularity as described in the Qur'an should be put into practice. Everyone should be utmost free in their beliefs. The essence is not to intervene in anyone's beliefs. One cannot interfere in the beliefs of an irreligious person, or a religious one, or a mason or a communist or anyone else for that matter. They all are first class citizens.

God wants us to be free. God wants us to live like we are in the Heaven. “Why should God punish you if you are thankful and have faith?” says God. But in Buddhist belief, in some ancient belief systems ordeals and self-inflicted pain are considered as a way to get close to God.

Freedom would bring about comfort and abundance. We should protect Jews, we should protect Christians and irreligious people as well. Let us create such a liberal, refreshing, beautiful environment. A very wealthy, sound understanding of religion would prevail in such an environment. Secularity is a system that exists in the essence of religion.

If you exert pressure, people would feel abased. You would make people who normally would not consume alcohol start consuming alcohol, you would cause people who would normally perform their prayers, stand apart from prayers; things that would not normally happen would start to happen. I mean oppression would disrupt a person’s balance.

Let everyone live as ever they like, as ever they desire. There should be no interference on Internet, or on Facebook, on Skype. People’s religion or ideas should not be interfered. Let everyone be free. Religion would prosper very easily in such an environment.

Women want to live freely. It is very important to emphasize that they would not be oppressed. That is because men are completely free everywhere in the world. No one ever interferes with their business.

Those on the side of the Mahdi (pbuh) would always talk about stopping the bloodshed, about love, compassion, freedom, peace, science, arts and aesthetics.

Targeting the happiness of people is the characteristic of the system of the Mahdi. The system of the Mahdi is not oppressive, it would interfere with anyone else's faith or opinion. Everyone will be free. A very devout center will present love to everyone.

Freedom and peace is the command of the Qur'an. It is a blessing Allah has given us, it is a characteristic of the Heaven. A Muslim would always want freedom and peace anyway.

The system of the Mahdi is not oppressive, I mean some people would be performing their prayers and some won't in the system of the Mahdi. Some would not be covering their heads, some will wear low neck clothes, some will wear hijab but everyone will be happy. Everyone will be free.

We cannot impose our understanding of morality to others, we cannot interfere anyone’s beliefs.

We like a lively Turkey. Our greatest aspiration is for youngsters to be very free, cheerful and well-groomed.

It is a beauty for youngsters to be free in their beliefs. No one is obliged to accept any idea, let everyone be free.

The best thing to do is to voice ideas without giving rise to an environment of conflict.

All kinds of protests can be held. In fact such acts would be nice in respect of freedoms. But the incidents taking place all over Turkey is something else. We are of course considering those well intentioned young girls and young boys free of these. We are sending our love to them.

Freedom of speech is for expressing ideas, not for cursing.

No one accepts insults when they are aimed at their own persons. Yet they strive to present insults aimed at believers as normal.

Stating an opinion is one thing, slandering is another. There is law and there is a legal system. We will not let anyone slander and revile.

Yes to freedom of thought! No to insults and revilement! No Turkish court is sentencing anyone because of their ideas. The offence people are sentenced for, are slanders and insults.

Humble and inoffensive ones will always win. The Ikhwan will not lose anything simply by assuming a humble attitude. They should embrace all walks of life within the society. They can govern the country together with people of all faiths, with people of all opinions, by forming a structure like a coalition. It would be very wrong to appear as confrontational, aggressive and stubborn structure.

It is not possible for Islam to prevail using the way of politics. Bediuzzaman says; "politics darkens souls." An intense politic ambition is observed in the Middle East.

God tells us that He would accept the repentance of even the Pharaoh if he repents. The door for repentance would never be closed for anyone alive. We are responsible to call all sinners to repent. Repentance is acceptable for all sorts of sins. Saying "it wouldn't be acceptable for this or that person" would reflect a very loveless point of view and is not correct anyway.
