Every person has the right to live freely according to their belief. But bigotry does not know how to approach people with compassion.

God sent only one Islam. The four religious sects have four different faiths and implementations of the religion of Islam.

In Kutub al-Sittah and all of the four sects of Islam, including the Shia as well as in Christianity and Judaism, there is a belief in the Mahdi. One who attempts to make the Mahdi system appear as problematic or unrealistic would be denying all these faiths and works.

Taking ablution and performing prayers is very easy according to the Qur’an. Complicating prayers and ablution is a plot devised by the satan to keep people away from performing prayers. All sects add arbitrary, made-up sunnah and obligatory conditions to perform prayers, on their own. They all contradict with one another even about lawful and unlawful acts. Lawful and unlawful acts according to Islam are defined solely by the Qur’an. There is no such thing as performing prayers and taking ablution differently according to each sect. How to take ablution and perform prayers are defined in the Qur’an and they both are easy to perform.

Claiming that it is not possible to have fun and entertainment in an environment in which the Qur’an and religion is discussed would mean taking Islam out of a wide expanse of life. The Qur’an is everywhere in Anatolia, they are dancing halay and have their weddings in houses where there are copies of the Qur’an. Women and men of Black Sea play horon together. They have the Qur’an with them as well. In the Southeast of Turkey, women dance halay together with men. They too have the Qur’an. God’s name is mentioned and verses are read, the Prophets are talked about in djemevi in which women and men whirl together. Do they think all those should be banned as well? Since such a thing would not be acceptable, it is important to create an environment in which people will be able live according to their thoughts and their faiths comfortably.

Every opinion, every thought should be respected. We need to be respectful towards Christians, Jews, Alawites, Sunnis, atheists, towards those who go out and have fun, those who laugh, those who do not laugh, towards women, towards everyone. Interfering in people’s lives is unacceptable. Everyone should be able to live as ever they like.

There were no sects at the time of Prophet (pbuh). Now there are almost four different religions. Muslims will be asked of the Qur’an alone.

Each of the four Islamic sects claims that others are invalid and superstitious. But according to the Qur’an there is only one religion and it is described in the Qur’an.

The sect of our Prophet (saas) was the Qur’an. It will be like that at the time of the Mahdi, as well.

Sectarian divides cause serious tension between Muslims. We should all follow the Qur'an like in the time of our Prophet (pbuh).

God commands how to take ablution with one verse in the Qur’an and it is very easy. The bigots on the other hand, come up with 600 pages of made-up rules about ablution that differs in each school of Islam. Looking at these made up rules, some people say that they won’t be able to take ablution and perform prayers. The understanding of religion that is outside the Qur’an causes people to remain distant to Islam.

Every school of Islam has different lawful and unlawful practices. This will be set straight by the Mahdi movement.

There were no schools of law in Islam at the Prophet Muhammad (saas)’s time. Now there are four different schools with four different unlawful and lawful rules. They’ve created four different religions.

Sectarian divisions caused Muslims to fight each other in Syria, Iraq and in many other places.

There were no sects at time of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh). There was only one religion. Mahdi’s time will be like the time of our Prophet.

Turkey is a modern country, one in which people live freely as they like. We don’t accept any backwards steps regarding our modernity.

Turkey should be a country in which people from all walks of life can live altogether in peace.

No one has the liberty to be a terrorist. No one has the liberty to oppress others. No one has the liberty to behave immorally. No one has the liberty to act vilely and treacherously. However, everyone should have the liberty to be pious and believe in whatever they want.

Freedom of faith; this is the greatest beauty the CHP can provide. They should be close to religious communities. They should show that they will present love to everyone.

Freedom of thought does not mean insulting everyone, upsetting everyone, hurting them and attempting to suffocate their joy and love. Love should be taken as basis. The concept of freedom of thought is sacred; that is okay, but love is even more sacred, kindness is even more sacred, respect is even more sacred.

When religion is set free, abundance comes to that country. This is the sole reason behind the plentitude in US; the fact that religion is free there. When religion is set free in Turkey, Turkey will be radiant and plentitude will come upon Turkey as well.

Being a communist is not an offense but being a terrorist, anarchist, ferocious organization is an offense. Otherwise if it were to remain on the intellectual level, be a communist, defend any other ideology you like we would not be concerned by any of them. You can be an atheist, you can be a communist, but if you attempt to employ violence and terror, we would be standing against you. We would not let you do that.

The vast majority of the Turkish people are Ataturkist, intellectual people who have progressive thoughts, who like freedoms, who understand Islam as it was in the time of the Companions, people who advocate modern Islam. All our youth are modern. Consequently it would not be possible to enforce bigoted, fanatical understanding of Islam in Turkey.

If a person is intimidated and forced into accepting an opinion, hatred will be formed in his/her subconscious towards that opinion. People should be warmed into ideas by making them love these ideas, by persuasion and by gentle placation. It should be done reasonably and peacefully through democratic means.

A believer considers serving Islam as a blessing but hypocrites don’t want to serve Islam. They follow their own evil religious law. Living alone, being stingy and feckless, leading an aimless, vain life, any act of moral turpitude and lying are all acceptable in the evil religious understanding of hypocrites.
